Goblin Warriors
Hello friends. Care for my mother here in PR continues. She has adjusted as well as she can at her new home though this has still been tough. We're keeping an eye on how the rehab goes while at her new place while also busy clearing out her old place and coordinating further care. Its become clear though that there isn't much more I can do here when it comes to her getting the care she needs that can't be managed via phone call, so I'll be flying back home later this week.
On a personal note I've been getting normal amounts of sleep again and got some personal time here and there. I did get some more time for modeling too, so I continued working on the new Monster Manual.
Today I have for you two goblin warriors from the new Monster Manual. I made a melee and ranged version for a little tabletop diversity. The melee version will print well on its back in FDM while the ranged version should print ok as is, given the bow is touching his knee making him one solid piece going upward. When preparing for printing, I would angle it upward some what with the arrow pointed slightly up so no supports are needed to touch the bow though just in case.

Continued prayers. I was caretaker for my father for a long time and putting him in assisted living weighed heavy but was not an option

I love seeing the models have small parts connected to the larger parts (the bow resting on the leg). It makes everything print better and more sturdy. Keep it up!
I’ve been doubling the width of the bow in Blender to make it more survivable when printing with resin, Any chance you can leave the Arrow as a separate object to make it easier to scale vertically as well?
