Good Updates from PR. Also new requests: New Minotaur Barbarian & The Mageripper
Hello friends. So we finally were able to settle her into a retirement home that can manage her care while she gets visiting rehab work. It was a hell of a week and the slow pace of getting everything lined up was soul crushing, but at least we're at this point. We still need to ensure all rehab and dialysis works well during her stay at this home so it will be some time before I think it would be safe to come home. Also we have to clear out her old apartment too so that's a lot of work to come.
But either way I was able to get some down time now that she's with professional care instead of home care with us. After work was done for my mom and family, I took some personal time to clean up and do laundry. Fresh laundry is a real treat sometimes you know? But I did get some modeling done too. Here is what I made this recently:
First up is a Minotaur Male Barbarian with a stone Unicorn Maul. This project gave me a great opportunity to make a new rigged Minotaur that I'm sure will be useful in the future. The Unicorn maul head is already a very hard model to print so I actually made that a separate piece that you can insert onto the hilt of the maul. I also made a version with a standard looking maul. Both of these are very thick fellas so printing as is in FDM will look fine, but I still recommend printing him on his back. Full files are here and in Adventurers - Barbarians - Other Barbarians.
I also worked on a Mageripper. This is a creepy little aberration that hunts in swarms and can be a real bane for spellcasters. This is a very tiny creature but it should print in FDM as is fine so long as you're ok with the teeth not printing very well. You can also print it with the mouth angled upward somewhat. The limbs and tentacles are thick enough that it should be doable. Full files are here and in Misc Patron requests - M .
My take on the Mageripper are unofficial Fan Content permitted under the Fan Content Policy. Not approved/endorsed by Wizards. Portions of the materials used are property of Wizards of the Coast. ©Wizards of the Coast LLC.
That's all for now. Thanks again for your kind words during this time. I'll be around friends.

I’m so glad you found a good fit for her care! Hope she continues to improve swiftly— having a son who’s so committed to making sure she’s well cared for is a huge advantage. Cleaning out her apartment is going to be hard for sure, though. make sure you go easy on yourself.
I'm so glad you're on your way to getting your mom settled and can take a breath.
That's great news! Happy for you and your family!
