This MIGHT end up being the final episode of the HLX Files. We have had an absolutely wild few weeks, and by all accounts, the next few will be crazier. We've got all the stuff here, ready to parse through.
This is an early, unfinished cut of my upcoming video, and it is missing all overlays and visual elements outside of the gameplay.

Wheter it's the last ep or not, i won't regret paying since all of the HLX files always brought some happiness :)
I was 6 when I first beat HL2:EP2. I am now 18. I have literally been spending 2/3 of my life waiting for this game... I am honestly going to miss wondering when Half Life 3 will get announced in a weird way, even if it's been a long and at times painful road lol

It's been a long road getting to where we might be at, and it's honestly nice to hear you sound so genuinely optimistic again.
okay so we know for sure that valve isn't going to sell the steam machine at a loss since its just a computer. A company could buy thousands and end up with no steam on sales. On the other hand both the frame and the controller are pretty much made for gaming first and foremost. The frame doesn't even have colored cameras. No one is buying a frame for something that's not gaming. At least on the side. Which to me it means that the frame and the controller *could* be sold at a loss. Nothing confirms it but it makes sense financially speaking.

I still can't believe that we are really seeing Half-Life 3 so soon. My personal theory is that we see an announcement tweet tomorrow (November 16th) and the trailer on Tuesday. If I'm correct they did something similar with HL:A (Announcement first, trailer later).

Tyler, i want to say how happy this makes me , not only for me but for us. I remember the first HL3 video i watches from you, cant remember the name but it had sometging to do with resource gathering in HL2:E2 engine that was supposed to rake place right after E3
I wonder if Valve has the capital to overcome Microsoft's share in the console business. The steam machine is basically a game console that runs SteamOS, could it end up being Sony vs. Nintendo vs. Valve? That would be interesting
