Mod Updates (Apr 1)

Edit: Bug fix for Character Values Overhaul added

Hi everyone,

Sorry I’ve been quiet the past few weeks. Things have been a bit busy on my end, but I’m back now with some small updates to share.

I’ve noticed an increase in reports of my mods breaking the CAS UI. If you experience this, it’s almost always due to The Custom Preferences Mod not being updated or installed correctly.

Avoid Me

• Fixed an issue that could occur when Wonderful/Wicked Whims was installed and Sims had the Eternally Faithful trait

Character Values Overhaul

• Fixed an issue that could sometimes prevent Character Value traits from applying on age up from Teen to Young Adult

Deeper Social Autonomy

• Fixed an issue that could occur when Wonderful/Wicked Whims was installed and Sims had the Eternally Faithful trait

• Updated backend tests for the Social Reach modules to better support EA’s new Social Observation feature (from the recent patch that allows Sims to preselect who they interact with)

  • This is Part 1. Part 2 will involve migrating some mod features into this system, which should eliminate social interaction selection failures.

• Improved performance of the Social Reach modules

TS2 Turn-Ons

• Updated the Curly Hair icon

• Added German translations to the BetterSorting file (thanks to Teapressed)

This week, I’ll be working on a small improvement to Social Variety, along with continuing development on the Interests mod. EA’s recent autonomy changes, along with bugs from the last few patches, pulled me off track for a bit.

Getting back into the swing of things now.
