I was disappointed with the lackluster and low effort physical Turn-On options EA gave us. All I wanted was Turn-Ons like we had in The Sims 2 days with a bit of a modern twist, so I decided to create them myself!
What This Mod Does
Overrides the Turn-Ons in the Hair Color, Outfit Color, and Fashion categories. With this mod, the categories are now Body, Outfits, and Miscellaneous.
Turn-Ons in the Way of Life, Characteristics, and Romance Styles categories are NOT affected.
The mod is fully translated for all languages and includes custom Maxis match icons that I carefully created.
There Are TWO Versions of This Mod
The original override version that overrides the existing physical Turn-Ons.
A standalone version that doesn't override the existing Turn-Ons.
The standalone version requires Zerbu's The Custom Preferences Mod. The standalone version can be downloaded here on SFS.
Both versions include an optional "BetterSorting" file that reorders the Turn-On labels in the English version of the game for improved organization.
Both versions include an optional AskAboutAttraction file that tweaks the "Ask about Physical Attraction", "Ask about Personality Attraction", and the Trivia Box interactions to include the new Turn-Ons in this mod, MissyHissy's Lovestruck Attraction Overhaul, Lumpinou's Adult Life, Plumlace's Personalites+, and Turn-Ons from my other mods. It also removes the annoying "View Lessons" button from the pop-up that accompanies the interaction.

📝 A Note for Those With TURBODRIVER's Mods
TURBODRIVER has graciously modified his mods to deepen compatibility with TS2 Turn-Ons. Turn-Ons selected in CAS that have a direct 1:1 equivalent in the Attractiveness system will automatically sync and not double-count. Due to coding complexities, this functionality is only available in the standalone version of the mod. For this reason, I now recommend that all WW players use the standalone version instead of the override version.
You can download the Standalone version here, but remember that it requires Zerbu's The Custom Preferences Mod for the Turn-On categories to show up in CAS.
💡 Smart Sim Randomizer by Andirz also supports the standalone version of TS2 Turn-Ons.

For some reason the override version of this mod causes a UI error on the main menu. Where you would normally press resume, load game and new game its all wwww's. The error is fixed every time I remove this mod. I have the error occurring with this mod alone and with my other mods. I have the latest update of the game and mod.
Sounds like a conflict with the custom preferences. You might have two or more mods that add custom preferences and edit the same file.

Hi! I’m using your standalone preferences mod alongside WickedWhims, and I think there may be an issue with how it interacts with the WW attraction system. Almost all of my Sims rate other Sims of their preferred sex as either Very Attractive or Extremely Attractive, with only a few exceptions. According to my attraction settings, there should be several Sims they’re not attracted to at all. I’ve set my Sims’ preferences both in CAS using your standalone mod and within the WW attraction system. Could the two systems be interacting in a way that’s causing the attraction scores to skew so heavily toward the positive end, or is there something else I should check? Edit- I LOVE your mods, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Hmm. It could depend on a number of things, including your WW settings. What’s the Lovestruck attractiveness strength setting you use? The WW integration is entirely on Turbodriver’s side. He was the one to set it up inside WW itself. I can look into it though.
Hi! I have used this mod for a while and I really like it! The Finnish translation could use some fine tuning though, if you would be open to it I could send you some tips to make it work better? If not, it's ok too ofc 😌

You can only use one version. They both include the same Turn-Ons.

Override version is working for me. What's the issue you're experiencing? Did you receive a Last Exception?
I love the implementation of this. I'm curious about the Foreign turn-on; is it compatible with Kuttoe's Home Regions? I don't use Language Barriers at the moment, but I'd love if sims from worlds I've linked together with Home Regions aren't considered foreign either. Also, how difficult would it be for someone to make a personal edit to adjust how many tattoos, items from makeup categories and jewelry categories are needed for the turn-on to trigger? As an avid CC user, most of my sims are wearing something in the eyelashes and facepaint categories for example, but without looking like they're wearing makeup. It's such a niche thing that I figured asking about how viable it'd be for me to simply make those edits myself would be more reasonable than making it an actual suggestion.
It'd be pretty feasible for you to edit the amount required. Which version do you use? And Foreign Turn-On is not incompatible with Home Regions, but it's not currently chained together. Though, I do like that idea! I will ask Kuttoe if it's possible.
wow, i'm looking thru ur mod portfolio and i feel like i need all this so bad, i'm so excited to load these up. this one especially, since it seems to be sort of similar to the attraction features i was missing with just lovestruck and needed wonderful whims for.
the better sorting mod doesnt work for me, my game is in german localization :( and can you add more body types plss
Yeah the better sorting is for English only, but if you’d like to translate to German, I’d be happy to include it.
does this mod take sexualities into account for turn ons? bc ive been having trouble with a gay sim with turn ons attracted to the opposite sex at times, despite being assigned as only attracted to male sims through MCCC, lumpinous LGBTQ+ mod, and lumpinous RPO, and this mod is the only other one i can think of that could be causing that.
Hmm. Sexuality isn't set at the individual Turn-On level, so there isn't anything in this mod that would mess with that. It would have to be something else that's causing the issue for you.

can npc sims get automatic preferences or is there a mod that makes npc sims have them?
NPC Sims are given a random assortment of Turn-Ons and Turn-Offs when they are created.
can u add things like scars and makeup too?
Makeup is already included. I have no plans to add scars right now, but Missy Hissy has a scars Turn-On you can use with this mod.
Is there a posibility to make feet and stink optional?
In the standalone version they can be deleted
if i have wonderful whims and zebrus mod- does this mean i can use the standalone mod without lovestruck??

It’s fully compatible, just make sure to not use “MissyHissy_AttractionOverhaul_AskAboutPhysicalAttraction” and “MissyHissy_AttractionOverhaul_AskAboutPersonalityAttraction”
