hii im having atrouble where my sim goes to take a selfie and the phone isnt popping up what do you think may be the cause? thank you!

I don't know what happened, but the phone appeared for me once, and now it doesn't, and I don't know why. My sim isn't wearing any rings. Oh, and for some reason, the option to take a mirror selfie with my male sim doesn't appear, but on my old save it does. I deleted and reinstalled, but it still doesn't show. I even tried to use Karaimade's version, and I made sure to toggle the phone on, but it just disappears when I try to take the picture. Lastly, I even added the phone in case, but it still disappears.

does this conflict w height sliders? i use two male sims i tried it out, the one with no sliders the phone shows up, but the taller one who uses sliders, the phone doesnt! wonderful mod tho, it works super well outside of that!

I'm not quite sure why but the phone doesn't appear for my young adult girl sim but it worked for her daughter who is a teen neither one of them is wearing jewelry i do have pose player in my game so I'm not sure if that's conflicting or what exactly is going on also they both are using the exact same mirror but I love this mod I hope I can get it to work properly soon

Hey! I just wanted to let you know that it doesn't work with Kijiko eyelashes. I did not test it with the no glasses option because my sim wears them. When they take up the ring slot the eyelashes and phone take the other's mesh. Just a small thing, I don't need to use the mod just wanted to try it out and let you know if it was something fixable for other's. Thank you!

hi! in case anyone else may be struggling to get the phone to show up, my sim was wearing a manicure from the Spa Day ep and once I removed them, the phone appeared again. This is after 5 attempts to get the phone to show lo, so in case anyone might have a sim with a manicure on and might be struggling, removing the manicure should help!

I really like your mod. But the phone stopped showing up. There's plenty of space around the mirror. There are no accessories on the sim. Could it be a problem due to pregnancy? I haven't encountered this issue with other sims.

Are the photos supposed to be somewhere in the files so we can save the images we take? I've looked everywhere and I couldn't find them, but that might be my fault for not looking close enough. Love your mods btw

hey, I use one of simsiboys phone overrides & i made sure there was enough space around to take a selfie, but no matter what, the phone doesnt show up, is this mod compatible with phone overrides? :)

so I redownloaded this mod and still having issues with the phone showing up on my female sims. it works perfectly fine with male sims and I have also tried several different mirrors to see if that was a problem. I tried the same mirror I used for the female sim with my male one and it worked first try. I didn't download the gender neutral one

im having the same issue and ive tried everything. i moved the mirror, made sure she didnt have any rings on and i tried resetting her, reattaching the phone and its still not working. :(

Hi I just updated the mod and since I did that the phone never shows up for pictures. It shows whenever the animation starts but then goes away once they're in a pose. Is there anything that is done wrong on my part or is it just a glitch?

I still love this, the phone stopped showing up for me once I updated the mod. Yet, I seen that you mentioned to make sure your sim isn't wearing accessories in the comments, so I'm going to try that again. I thought if it was possible to create a mod where we can attach or detach a phone from our inventory, if that could also help for people who might be having issues with the phone showing up. Either way, this is amazing. I love your creativity.

I think I might not have understood which files I need - I have these: simkatu_mirrorphoto_phone simkatu_mirrorphoto_posepack_female simkatu_mirrorphoto_posepack_male simkatu_mirrorphoto_v2_genderneutral Is that correct? The interaction pops up on the mirror, and she gets out the phone, but then the camera never opens. I don't have any camera mods installed, but if I *do* have the right files, I'm thinking it might conflict with another mod? I can run the conflict scan in BE but wanted to be sure I had the right files before I did that or started removing things.

Hi Simkatu! I wrote you a long comment about an issue I was having but I'm removing it ~ it turns out, I was misunderstanding the mod. The "Take Mirror Selfie" option didn't show up because my sim didn't have a romantic partner and so I thought the mod wasn't working. When I got into gameplay and he went on a blind date, he got a romantic partner which then added the "Take a mirror selfie" option to my pie menu, whereas only "Share Mirror Selfie on Simstagram" popped up before. I had thought "Take a mirror selfie" was a 3rd option, just for taking mirror selfies without sending them on social media, so I was thinking the mod wasn't working. 🤭 Sorry for any confusion if you read my comment before!

The phone disappears at times, & it’s a little tedious to reposition camera but my biggest issue is the pictures don’t actually save to your screenshots they only exist in the game in your inventory:( i spent hours taking “simstagram selfies” b4 realizing

I was wondering if this might be caused by a conflict with another phone replacement mod. There’s enough space in front of the mirror, and even after removing other phone replacement mods, the phone still doesn’t show up. The same issue happens even after connecting the phone.
