show off the baby
this mod adds new interactions with one custom animation.
it works with infants and toddlers.
base game compatible
includes xml injector
the interaction is located in the "relationship" category in the baby's menu.
show off the baby to & ask to show the baby (specific sim)
the interactions work differently depending on what you want to do:
- you want to show the baby to someone;
- or you want someone to show the baby to you.both sims must be teen to elder;
using 'ask to show the baby', a sim can be introduced to the baby.
show off the baby to a group
the actor must be teen to elder.
the group can include sims from child to elder.at the end, sims will play a small random happy and affectionate in-game reaction.
known issues:
- sims may pause briefly before the animation starts;
- if you gather a large group and some sims are far away from the baby, they may arrive late to the animation.
outcomes:
a small relationship increase between the baby and the sim they are shown to.
the sim who looks at the baby will receive one of three buffs (either randomly or based on age and traits).

This is so amazing! Is there a possibility to hide the interactions until there's a baby to be shown? Currently, the option is there in every teen+ sim regardless of if there's a baby on the lot or not. Thank you so much for this!

hi! first, please make sure you are clicking directly on the infant or toddler. - the interactions “show off the baby” and “show off the baby to a group” will not appear if your sim isn't yet familiar with the baby - the interaction “ask to show the baby” may not appear if your sim doesn’t know anyone who is familiar with the baby and can show them also, please make sure that xml injector is installed correctly in your mods folder if the option still doesn’t appear, could you please describe the situation in more detail? i’ll try to help
