110 - Techno Template - 138 BPM

For this track, I wanted to put the main focus on a repeating loop that drives the groove and creates a strong dancefloor energy. The arrangement follows a classic techno structure with a clap and ride keeping the momentum throughout the track.

The main synth was created using Ableton's Granulator and a single synth sample. I auditioned hundreds of samples before finding the one that perfectly matched the vibe I was looking for.

For the vocal phrase, I used a short fragment from a flamenco recording. Before processing it, I separated the vocal from the instrumental, allowing me to reshape it and fit it naturally into the track.

The tracks Kick Layer 1, Kick Layer 2, and HH 2 use Track Delay to improve their integration with the overall groove and help them sit more naturally within the track.

The Track Delay adjustments weren't applied randomly. I specifically chose these elements because, after adding them to the existing groove, their transients started to compete with the other sounds in the mix. I liked the character of these sounds and didn't want to replace them, so I used subtle Track Delay offsets to resolve the transient conflicts while preserving the groove and the original feel of the track.

This Ableton Live template is designed for producers interested in groove-driven techno, hypnotic techno, techno sound design, Granulator techniques, and mixing workflows.
