108 - Techno Template - 141 BPM

In this track, I paid special attention to crafting the low end. The kick consists of five layers.

I build the groove around the initial kick. Once all the track's elements are in place, I EQ that initial kick (always differently each time to eliminate muddiness). Then, I select new layers to add definition, emphasis, and groove to the kick. I add these layers while considering the context of all the other elements to ensure everything works together.

The bass consists of four layers; I structure it this way to create movement. Simply applying sidechaining or ducking isn't enough to resolve conflicts. I use an analyzer to identify where clashes, overlapping, or phase issues occur, and then I use gain utility automation to eliminate these conflicts.
