It feels like something in me cracked yesterday. I hadn’t touched alсоhol for a whole year.
That choice was sacred to me, heavy with meaning, because I grew up in a family where drinкing was the background noise of life, and I once promised myself I’d break that cycle.

But yesterday… I just couldn’t hold it anymore.

I failed to reach any peaceful agreement with my landlady. Instead of looking for a human solution, she’s demanding that I pay the full remaining rent for four months (until the end of our agreement) almost three thousand dollars and she wants it by November thirtieth.

I asked her why. Why choose this path when we could simply talk it through. She knows I already paid for the new apartment. And that moment broke me completely. I came home, collapsed to the floor and cried because I just can’t carry this chaos anymore.

And yes… I slipped. I bоught winе. I’ve been drinкing for two days. Not because I want to, but because everything inside feels like it’s burning and I don’t know where to put this pain. I just want this nightmare to end. I want to breathe again and find my footing.

Sometimes exhaustion doesn’t arrive like a fierce beast but like a fog. Slow, thick, almost invisible. It creeps in for weeks until one day you realize something inside you is dimming. As if someone is quietly turning down the light in your soul, and you look at your reflection and see not the tears but the emptiness between them.

Exhaustion isn’t weakness. It’s a boundary. A moment where your body is more honest than you are. It says: enough. Stop carrying the whole world, stop pretending to be endlessly unbreakable. Sometimes life becomes too narrow for all the expectations you’ve stacked onto yourself, and it cracks right under your skin.

But there’s a strange truth in that crack. Exhaustion shows you where you’re real. Without masks, without posture, without the constant performance of being fine. In a world that demands composure at all times, exhaustion becomes the only moment of sincerity. The moment you finally hear yourself.
