ECU Tuner Standalone Training — Part 3: Sensors & Injection Setup
If this is the first video from the series that you have come across, I recommend starting with Part 1, where we begin from the very start and build the vehicle and standalone setup. In Part 2, we continue with the trigger configuration and synchronization.
This third part continues directly from those previous steps, so at this point we already have the basic vehicle and trigger setup completed and can move further into the ECU configuration.
In this episode, we focus mainly on the sensor and fuel injection side of the setup and prepare the engine for its first cranking attempts.
We go through the relevant sensor configuration, ECU outputs and fuel system setup, including the fuel pump and injector hardware. We configure injector flow data and voltage-dependent injector dead time, enable the injectors, assign the required injection events, and resolve the ECU configuration errors.
At the end, we also set the injector flow reference pressure to 3 bar, which is the pressure differential used as the reference for the specified injector flow rate.
We are also currently working on a cross-platform version of ECU Tuner for BeamNG. It will use the same UI and follow the same overall workflow, so the setup procedures and knowledge shown throughout this training series will also be applicable to the BeamNG version once it is released.
If you enjoy the project and want to support its development, you can join the Patreon and download the latest ECU Tuner Standalone Early Access version 1.1, available now together with the Vehicle Builder.
Training series:
Part 1 – How to Build
Part 2 – Trigger Settings
Part 3 – Sensors & Injection Setup
With the basic sensor and injection configuration completed, we are ready to continue to the next stage: cranking and first-start tuning.

so this one works with any mod cars aswell? if i buy the standalone tier i can tune any prvvy and nohesi car?
Yes! Theoretically, any mod car can be converted to work with ECU Tuner Standalone, including Prvvy and No Hesi cars. That's exactly what our Vehicle Builder was designed for! You can convert existing mod cars and then tune them using our realistic standalone ECU simulation. If you have any trouble with a specific car, just send me a private message. I'll personally try converting it for you and let you know if everything works correctly!
