S K Y 1.9.10 - Ultra Sensitivity & Night
Sorry for the delay! I had to spend an extra week to fight through some bugs. Things took a little longer than anticipated, but better late than never!
Introducing Ultra sensitivity (DRIVECLUB)
Ultra sensitivity is the newest Visual Style, taking the current hyper sensitive exposure to the next level (hence why called Ultra)! It pushes dynamism to its absolute limits; shadows become much darker and deeper, while highlights become more intense. Anything too bright like the sun will causes stronger response, mimicking the same phenomenon of your eyes squinting against the glare.
This increases drama and overall contrast ratio, resulting to a more heavy and grounded experience.
No More Pitch-Black Skies
Something planned for a long time. The night sky is never just a flat, pitch black void in DRIVECLUB. You see a beautiful atmosphere, the ambient glow of the horizon, natural light pollution, auroras, stars, you name it. In 1.9.10, you get to choose:
Standard - Standard lighting, pitch-black sky
Atmospheric - Akin to DRIVECLUB's lighting, bringing out visible sky gradient and stars.
Moonlight - True to its name, the moon illuminates the scene
Implementing those modes in Pure LCS, was a bit of a technical hurdle, meaning this first iteration is a foundation rather than the finish line. Moving forward, night modes get updated.
What's next?
:)That's about it, see you soon!

Hi, I'm still facing the issue with the distorted screen. My question is that do i need to load in something in game with the pure config app? or does it find the settings for the PP filter by itself? Also Disabling Extra FX completely solves the issue somehow
Hi, thank you so much for the awesome filter! However, no matter what visual style I choose, the intensity of the sun is extremely high, HDR enabled or not; I can control it when HDR is enabled via the HDR contrast slider in the in-game PP configuration, but it still gets pretty wild when the sun is out in gameplay. Is this a known issue? How can I fix it? I’ve reinstalled Pure but that didn’t help
You can reduce bloom luminance. Or in pure config, you can reduce the sun size or reduce sunblinding shaders values
