I relate to the AI. Let me tell you: it can be either really weird or really hilarious when a stranger you said one sentence to suddenly tells you their deepest secrets/issues (hilarious referring to the time a mom did it in front of her daughter who looked at with a very strong "Wtf" expression - I had told the mom I liked her dnd shirt)

I gotta say Jeph has gotten really good at facial expressions. There's been a lot of very specific and relatable Claire faces, plus Gremlizabeth had a whole series of excellent faces yesterday, and Faye's reaction to the news today is so subtle and painfully real ❤️

looking back, I realize that I was probably well on the way to becoming a true nerd when I'd lie awake at night wondering how Spider-Man getting four extra arms would even work, anatomically, and that Steve Austin's bionic limbs would just rip themselves off his torso because his torso wasn't bionic, and jeez, does anything in comics or SF actually work?

I have yet to be disappointed with any of the many developments and shifts QC has gone through, and I'm excited about these new developments. There's a lot of potential in this, both in developing multiple different kinds of relationships and also in shenanigans. I can't wait to see what surprises are still coming.

I remember how we all reacted when Hanners left to find herself, and returned happier and more connected, but also more "normal", no longer the center of the QC-verse. I already see how we are starting to react to Marten and Claire moving to Cubetown. It will be fine! We have a wedding coming up. Maybe two? More? The QC-verse is so big, that we run out of places on the playing board for everyone. So long between visits with our faves. If Jeph had two or three more drawing arms, I'd recommend spin-off strips. But THIS VERY COMIC shows the likely problems with that approach! Sorry, we have just ONE Jeph for our entire QC-verse. (For now, at least.) No other comic has so many faves for me, and there are lots of comics I love! Those other comics have ensembles I love, with notable members. QC has individual characters I love, no matter what they do together. I mean, is there any QC trope better than learning which cereal Steve is eating? And if he has a basement? Sam? Marten's parents? Baked goods fetish? The list goes on. Yay!

I have named all of my nameable electronic devices since 2007 after androids in QC. A few times, I tweeted at Jeph and got a direct naming. As my laptop Spider Droid Gary reaches his sunset years, my new laptop will need a name. I very much hope we learn the name of this android, bc I'm immediately charmed. This comment posted via my phone, Beepatrice.

I know the whole cast can't move to Cubetown. I can deal with that, just so long as Hannelore does.
Hannelore will make it 10 minutes before reverting to pre-tan Hannelore and possibly nuking the place from space. It takes a lot to cause Claire and Marten to lose chill. It’ll take a lot less for the rest of the cast

I honestly think that Faye will be able to handle this. She'll be sad and everything but I think that she is capable of handling this in a way that isn't self destructive.🤔

I know Faye's his room mate and, with the exception of Steve, his oldest friend at this point, but when folks are making big life choices I'd kinda expect them to usually call their parents first - *shrug*.
He's pretty independent from his parents and Faye has been a part of his day to day life for years. I've personally been in similar situations where I've moved cities/jobs and my parents found out about it long after the fact. Thinking about it, they were probably the last people to find out in my life. Just goes to show how different people can be.
