Went and looked on the published page. I quite like the fix for the side seam.

A fitting comic for the end of an era. ❤️🥹 It just made me realize I’ve been reading this comic since I was in college…it’s kind of crazy how everything changes and we just keep on keepin on. That’s what I’m taking from this one, anyway!

I, for one, don’t believe Cubism Hell will last ‘till the water gets hot. Neither one of our valiant humans will be able to tolerate the cyberstupid flux for very long. The Big Amoeba claims they need someone to organize things. Since It is all powerful over all it surveys there is no reason it could not reform local reality as It wishes. So either it’s lying about several important details, or it is lying about a different set of very important details. Either way, nothing good cN come of this. The only question is whether it will be Bad or Worse.

I know that at one point Faye and Martin were close friends but with each entering into LTR's it doesn't seem like they were that close anymore, other then roomies.

Panel ④ where Faye looks upward as her surroundings emerge, is she spiritually looking up towards her Dad? Does she sense how proud her Dad would have been? Am I reading too much into that because some ninja chef has been chopping onions for the past two hours?

Martin and Faye have been through a lot and their relationship spans almost the entire comic. I do think that if it wasn't for spooky butt, they would have eventually got together; however, it's great that they never did because their friendship grew into something better.

It's been a long time since Marten sort of was the center of all the going-ons but still, I really feel with Faye here.

I think Bubbles is just working her way gradually downwards on this new roboperson and finding something different and worse under every seam. A Gameboy. An aquarium. Some crickets. A frog.

Faye is very lucky to have Bubbles. Bubbles is also very lucky to have Faye; this new, maturer, Faye-in-a-turtleneck is insanely hot :)

It's rough when your best friend moves away. You have to find a new normal. It can be done! But it's also not a trivial thing to do.

Well now I'm f**king sad.

I have found myself interacting with people that have that kind of effect, it can be unnerving how much you might unconsciously give away.

Maybe she already sealed up the damaged seam and had to make an opening further down to fix some motors or other connections that were damaged by the attempt to add a second arm? 🤷‍♂️

No need to completely redraw, just extend the side seam upwards. Bubbles is just working on fixing the "modifications" Blondie made further down to accommodate the arm.

Blondie should study to be a therapist if she isn't one already. Talk about a head start.

I just figured Bubs was making some repairs further down Blondie's side as a result of the attempted 3rd arm. Didn't even consider that it might have been a mistake.

She has come so far, gotten so much strength, but it still hurts to have a friend move away.

Oof! I unmasked from my N95 + replaceable activated carbon filter five layer rainbow mask have had Blondie's troubles with people telling me things they don't even feel comfortable telling family or doctors. (I get them to see doctors and counsellors if I cannot help them with their woes myself.) Woof! (To the intense things sometimes.)

Years ago, like, when Angus left, Faye would already would have drinking by now. The events of the last few hours is hitting her. She faces the impending absence of her best friend, and the income hit. But I don't see her falling apart. Bubbles will be her backstop for that. Then there's always the possibility of Union Robotics moving to Cubetown.

Faye has a life of her own now with Bubbles. I think before that, Marten moving would have wrecked her completely. She is in a much better headspace these days.
