Sunday(?) Best
Wow. 5000 comics. That is a much larger amount of comics than I ever expected to make.
I want to say thank you to everyone who has stuck around, for however long you’ve been reading. I really appreciate being part of your daily/weekly/whatever routines. It’s an incredible privilege to make a living in this field, and I’m grateful for all your support, whatever form it takes. Extra special thanks to my Patreon subscribers, both for their support and for being such a wonderful, welcoming community.
I’ve seen some speculation that the comic is wrapping up- that is not the case. I have no plans to end QC. The comic has changed focus many times over the course of its lifespan. That’s what has kept it interesting for me, over all these years. Sending Marten and Claire to Cubetown looks to be just another one of those shifts. Which is funny, because the genesis of the whole idea was me thinking “you know, I barely do anything with Marten anymore, and he’s in a good place with Claire. It might be time to give them a ride into the sunset since they don’t seem to be the focus of my interest these days.” Then I started gathering all the threads together for this story, and suddenly Marten was fun to write again and I had a million ideas for Cubetown and welp I guess I accidentally an entire new setting, lol. That’s how it goes sometimes.
I hesitate to make predictions about the future, because I often end up being wrong (see above), but so far I’m having fun switching between Cubetown and Northampton as the creative process calls for it. So I’m pretty sure I won’t be dumping Northampton as a setting, or moving the entire cast to Cubetown, or any of the other more far-fetched ideas I’ve seen floating around. I’m just going to keep writing comics like I always have, and follow the path where it leads. I’ve learned to trust myself when it comes to this stuff.
Thanks again for reading, and I hope you’ll stick around to see where things go. I’m having more fun doing QC than ever before.

been reading since the middleish 600s and all i can say is WE LOVE YOU
I signed up just to say this. I've been reading since I was a bored intern at work searching for comics on the internet. Found you around 100 or so. Never looked back. So glad you are so glad doing this every day <3
Jeph I've been reading since before comic 1000, and I'm just so happy you've gotten this far. Sorry I haven't been able to support much till now. Thank you for such an incredible comic, it has been a lifeline for me for over a decade 🙏 May good things and awesomeness come your way 🎸!!
Did Steve keep the boat? Does Steve have a boat at this time that would enable quick jaunts up to Cubetown? Did I just use "enable" in the addiction sense instead of the software sense?
Reading QC for almost a decade has felt like visiting friends every day. I’ve had some dark times and sometimes wanting to know what happens next in your comic was what got me to the next day. Thanks for writing and putting so much love and care into your charchters 💕
Thank you so much for so many years of great reading! I really enjoy your characters and their stories. I'm looking forward to as many more years of comics as you can give us.
Don't remember when I first started reading, but your comic has aged like fine wine. It is one I always come back to, sometimes just press random and start reading from wherever I end up. It just makes me feel good and lifts my spirits. Thank you for these 5000 comics.
So many congratulations on 5,000 comics and so many years of success, hard work, creative and artistic growth, and inclusive, thoughtful entertainment and fun you’ve provided people. I’m not much of a commenter, but I’ve been following QC reliably since 2009, and I certainly wouldn’t have expected this to be one of the things from my life back then still so relevant on a daily basis. From a closeted gay kid happy to see a whole host of diverse characters taken in stride for who they are — to a happily successfully gay man, Questionable Content has been a constant companion. Thank you, Jeph!
Been here since the first porn in front of dog joke.
A likely story… but Marten himself would like to tell another: when he began to have a suspicion from the first strips in the storyline that you were sending him into the sunset, he reached out to his union which hired a competent lawyer who raised the following matters: 1) as a founding cast member, Marten can’t be functionally fired lest you have to pay a princely compensatory sum (as a result of it being expressed as a function of viewership in the original contract…) 2) the contracts you had Marten sign since then are only valid to the extent they don’t contradict his original one (cf John vs. Jones, Supreme Court of Massachusetts) and 3) Claire belongs to a protected class in the state of Massachusetts and the apparent motive for her firing (follow Marten’s fate) didn’t quite reach the necessary standard for that protection to be overridden…
5000. I remember when I started reading all those years ago. I found you through a link on XKCD. QC was only my second ever webcomic. I think you were just around 500 strips back then. *Raises a glass of root beer* Here's to another 5000!
Having the Cubetown/Northampton back and forth is extremely cool; looking forward to the future of QC! :)
Thanks for the years and years of ever-improving awesome artwork, and for the compelling and hilarious characters and storylines!!
You know what else is a big round number? 10 000! You can do it Jeph, we believe in you! Plus I have to know what happens in the next year and a half of their lives 😅
still no notifactions via email, i have to come on daily to look for new posts
I've been following for like 15 years. Still loving it.
I love how the story has evolved all these years. I always look forward to the new direction you take the characters. I’d love to see a Steve cameo again sometime though 😁
Yeah, and Raven. And the real star of the series, Pizza Girl.
😂 “just because she’s extremely terrible at her job” 😅
A big yay whoop de doo to Jeph, who is extremely not terrible at his job 👏 🙌 🎉 5000 galore banzai excelsior !!
I am totally excited about the possibilities of Cubetown. This should be fun.
The 5k mark finally inspired me to sign up w/ Patreon and throw some moneys into the pot. Cheers from the MD 'burbs and congratulations on the milestone!
Came here to say exactly the same thing (except from OR 'burbs.)
Wooo! Congratulations!
Congrats, Sr. Jacques. I appreciate the evolution of your craft, and your narrative. The fact that Cubetown is in NS pleases me immensely, like I could sail off from Cape Breton Island and its unfortunately managed university to land in even more poorly managed academia (but not for long if it gets Clairified). I also appreciate the sense of space the world you've created has, that allows your characters to move and grow, just like real folk. Kudos, sir.
I can't believe this is episode 5K! Congrats on keeping this flesh and exciting cor all these years. It has been a great ride so far. Looking forward to the future.
Congratulations on 5000 comics! This is one of my favorite comics, the level of detail and care you have with the characters and the world is amazing
Change is good
Congratulations on 5000! I can't believe I've read every single one, but here we are - you have been my favourite comic to read for a very long time and I am grateful for your continued presence alongside my morning coffee. Cheers and here's to another 5000!
I remember looking across the room and seeing the words "QUESTIONABLE CONTENT" on my (grade school, maybe) kid's computer, and going "what are you looking at...?" It was a picture of I don't recall who, inside a restaurant with big glass windows. I wanna say it was the same restaurant where I think Clinton gets advice from the waitperson... but I think the strip itself was older than that. (That you used an already extant place for that interaction.) I've been on and off in tersm of reading every day, but I've read everything. Thank you.
Also not a big commenter, and I think I have been reading since somewhere in the 2000s. I enjoy looking forward to this comic every day and it is without doubt one of the most consistently good/enjoyable ones. Congratulations on your 5000th comic and I expect I will be happyt o continue supporting you on patreon or wahtever until the grande finale, whenever that may be, hopefully at least 5000 more.
Marten's hands in his pockets make a front butt UwU
Butts lol
Jeph, I am not much of an online community person, so I don't usually post here or on similar forums. I just want to say congratulations to your 5000th comic! I have been really enjoying QC, and I am really glad to hear that you are having more fun than ever making them. All the best!
You're no longer on the Bird App so I'm writing here, though with 300+ comments you will probably miss it - the encoding of this message on your website is broken, all ' characters were replaced with
I can hear Moray's voice trembling when she says our Librarian. It's gonna be ok, Moray. It's all gonna be... OOOK!
Loving the ride!
I still remember my first comic where I saw Marten and friends fightings a vespa robot. How far have we come!
this is great news. I've enjoyed reading QC for years from the very first one!
Congratulations on 5000! I've been along since about #12, and watching the development in your art and storytelling has been an immense pleasure. Along the way you've touched me with your stories and introduced me to new music, and my life is definitely improved by your work. Thanks!
This makes me happy to hear.
Just joined today, to say thanks for the first 5,000.
So, after 5000 comics, there is no Questionable Commitment, that's for sure! Congratulations!
Much congratulation and much thanks, Jeph, for giving us 5000 strips! I hope that it keeps on being fun for you, and please do keep it up. (But can we get _some_ of the alt-Northamptonians to Cubetown sometimes? Say, the flickering emu -- it was an emu, right, not some other ratite?)
so, tomorrow I can shout, "It's over 5000!" and my gf can look at me funny, and the rest of the world can be ignorant of the significance, and I can go to work like normal....but it won't be normal, will it!? I will be living in a world where this amazing comic has been going for OVER 5000!!!!! :) Thanks, Jeph.
"That's my favorite hoodie! That's my only hoodie!"
Thank you, Jeph, for all the years of great content! This and xkcd are the only webcomics that have held my interest consistently, so that puts you in amazing company. The transparency and little glimpses into what you're comfortable sharing about your life are so nice, too. We love you!
Jeph - You and QC have been around a long time, and you are still coming up with terrific new characters. I am really looking forward to see how Liz (so adorable) comes into her own and does amazing things for Cubetown.
Thank You times 5000. This cast of merry crazies have become friends since early days. Sometimes my favorite part of coming home from weeks away from my life is catching up on their shenanigans. Thank you for Creating!
I think Claire has gone beyond Librarian and entered the realm some form of COO.
worse. house Mom.
5000! Awesome!
love u jeph
So excited to hear you plan to continue to evolve QC and unironically so excited to read story arcs about large scale management challenges
Jeph, over the decades that I've been reading webcomics my interests have shifted and some of the ones I thought I'd never abandon have somehow gone by the wayside. QC is always a source of delight and surprise and insight and I thank you for that. As long as you keep your interest in it, I expect I will as well.
The kids are growing up and moving out on their own. *sniffle*
I've been reading your comic sense my college days (around 2009) and it's been an amazing ride to see all these characters your created. Look forward to seeing where it goes from here.
Congratulations on 5000! Thank you for being a consistent source of joy and part of my ritual for so many years. Excited to see where the creative process takes us next!
It is a great comic! So glad to be part of the community
A friend sent me a few QC links probably from around the 700s and I enjoyed it so much that I went back and started reading from the first comic. QC has had such a cool journey of how the stories were structured and the way the humor has evolved. I've trailed off on following a number of webcomics that started to feel stale, but QC just keeps bending in interesting directions. Happy to be a supporter!
5000 comics? Wow. I love QC so much... it's made me laugh on some truly dark days. I'm glad that you're keeping it going, and I hope you continue to enjoy doing it. I love what you're doing with it and I'm enjoying the ride!
Thank you for creating a comic that not only makes me laugh, but feel things, from contemplation my own life and changing for the better to just having a liberating cry and all the good in between. Thank you.
Congratulations on 5000! I’ve been reading QC since around 400 I think, and what a journey it’s been! I’m glad to hear you have no intentions of bringing it to a close
I've been reading QC since the super early days and I just love love LOVE how both the setting and characters grow and change. I've always felt that QC is very 'realistic' in that regard, people and places change! When comics/stories are just the same repeated plot over and over again with slightly changed window dressing, no growth no change, they fade, lose their audience ect. You and QC have done noting but grow and i'm SO excited to see what else is in store for you and my fav fictional people!
i still remember back when Hannelore went off on her Exodus for a while, then she came back; sometimes that's just how life be
I'm happy it's not ending, but I'm even more happy that the reason its not ending is because you still have plenty of ideas. And yes, Cubetown is super fun.
I‘ve just entered a nomination for QC for a Hugo as best Comic. If anybody else can nominate (Worldcon member this year or last year) feel free to do the same. Maybe we can get it on the list. That it is SF is pretty much obvious, isn‘t it?
Daaaaang 5k - thank you for the thousands upon thousands of joyful moments
Well done, sir. I wish I could remember how I first learned about QC. It was probably through one of the tech-related blogs I follow. And I apologize for taking so long to support your wonderful storytelling through Patreon. QC might be the most humane comic strip I've ever read.
Thank you for the 5000! Here's to twice the fun making more! I've been reading QC since I found out about webcomics in high school. Since then I've made several of my own webcomics, read hundreds, fell off hundreds. I currently run 2 active webcomics and don't find as much time to read as I'd like, but I still come back to QC. You make something with its own brand of magic, Jeph. Cheers!
Congrats on 5000! It's awesome to be along for the creative journey, your art has also grown and changed so much over the years. You're one of the artists I think about when I struggle to find my own motivation, due to your consistency in putting things out there. Thanks for telling such an fantastic evolving story for so long.
I have followed this comic from the beginning, and enjoyed every bit. At 62 years, I am a bit older than most of your characters, but they seem very real to me and give me a sense of what life is like for my childrens' generation. Your sensitivity to gender, sexuality, body image and identity really help me understand those things better. You write and draw with great insight and compassion, which has brightened and enriched my life. Thank you, Jeph!
I've been a reader since nearly the beginning, and QC has been a rich part of my life over that time, comforting me in times of loneliness, and helping me to understand myself, the challenges of mental health, the value of self-care. Also it's damn funny. Thank you so much. I look forward to seeing where it goes from here.
I’ve been reading for at least a decade. It is the highlight of my morning. Keep it going. Here for the long haul.
So very Congrats! Been reading you since you were thrice a week and I still hit the archives and can't wait for the next fresh offering. You're my favorite contemporary artist, period. Keep going strong! Yay!
I'm still a fan because you're still the man. Here's to the next 5000.
Predictions, eh? Turns out you can never be sure with them; especially those pertaining to the future...
I've been reading for nearly twenty years now, and it's been a fantastic experience. Congratulations! (Also: "Librarian" is apparently now Cubetown-speak for Chief of Staff.)
In her (Moray 21-X) introductory letter (#4848), Moray never actually said they were interviewing for a librarian. She just wanted to know if Claire could come and discuss "your studies, areas of interest, foods you require to live, your fear of drowning, and whether we think you'd be a good fit here." And Moray-44 said they wanted Claire to "provide organizational structure. Someone to fight against the tide on nonsense." I suspect The Librarian is just a title. Claire's gonna be much more than that.
I've been reading this comic since I was a sophomore in college, 18 years ago. It's been a constant for over half my life and I've enjoyed the whole ride. Congratulations on 5000, and I'm looking forward to seeing where the story takes you!
So, uh, has anyone else noticed that Claire seems to have inadvertently promoted herself to Executive Director before even starting her job?
That Moray expression in panel 4 is adorable.
Whatever you do with the comic I’d like to thank you for giving me a lovely thing to look forward to on days I don’t feel very motivated. Your characters and stories are part if my routine and a good thing for it. So glad to have discovered your work when I did.
Just a thought, not sure if you want the added stress or work, but how about a weekly cubetown comic, separate from QC? I miss all the other stories going on and the interactions with characters outside the main story line.
I jumped in a few 'seasons' behind so I had the pleasure of 'bingeing' the first 1200 strips. If you haven't heard it enough, you are a fantastic artist and a pleasure to follow. Your art shows a fictional world that has real world challenges. I'm sure I speak for most when I say, the only thing I wish we had more of was more QC!!
Congrats on the 5000th comic! It only seems to be getting better too. Thanks for everything :)
I just reread the whole archive last month... yes, 5000 is a lot, and a milestone to be proud of for sure. I'm glad to be a patron. My only regret is that there are so many characters whose lives I'm invested in and they can't possibly all get enough screen time.
I found this comic in late 2004/early 2005, and it's been a mainstay all this time. It's wild to look back at the development of the characters, the art, and the artist. Congratulations on 5000 strips, Jeph, and thank you for the years of entertainment! Looking forward to many more.
Congratulations on #5000, looking forward to #10000, where I expect Pintsize to have been transplanted into a T-Rex body and Marten to have taken over his mom's family business.
LOVE the big round number! Thanks for hanging in there and continuing to make the characters real and lovable in all their complex faults.
I suspect I'm on the older side for your audience (68) so I just want to weigh in from the older-than-dirt generation and say thank you for years of joy! There are authors I can't thank any longer (Douglas Adams, Jane Austen, Terry Pratchett), so it makes me happy to say thank you to one who can know I love their work and feel warm in the knowledge. Keep on as long as it brings you joy, and it will keep on bringing us joy.
How about 73 and counting…
Congrats on the big round number. Been reading since the old, old days. Still love your work and excited to see where things are going.
I started reading back when Raven Prichard was trying to get with Sven Bianchi, then rereading almost annually. That's how good this comic is. Looking forward to even more!
Putting aside the 5000 mark, sticking with and writing the same story for 20 years is just as incredible. Well done, Jeph. I have read every panel and the character development and plot lines are always amazing to read and speculate about. Keep up the good work, my friend. I hope to be able to rehash this conversation at No. 10000.
I like how Moray's eyes get large like a cat that's veeery interested in what it's looking at
I’ve been reading since I believe 2007 or so. I remember the latest comic was Marigold coming on to Angus. I’ve greatly enjoyed the direction the comic has gone since then.
Jeph, I will gladly follow wherever you lead us with this comic. After all these years, something like ten following on a daily basis, I trust you. I love this comic and all the characters and all you have done with it. Keep up the great work.
Imagine actually wrapping up a characters storyline rather than just abandoning them 🙄
I remember it was on strip 1875 (which was actually a guest strip) when I started (saw the link on XKCD and gave it a shot). Read them to get up to date. Joined the forums not long after (and found out about how you and the mods needed to go all "scorched earth" on them to regain some kind of order after The Breakup), and haven't missed a day since. Given how dodgy my memory is, I still can't believe I remember that. Honestly, I have loved this world that you have created for these past 12 years. You have tried your best to be inclusive of different people without being pretentious about it (the way you handled Claire coming out to Marten was absolutely brilliant (besides the handful of dickbags that failed to survive the second purge, the forum users were also pretty impressed (especially your trans* readers, many of whom also contributed their points of view). I am sure their stories helped you shape the direction of your own)), and showed that treating other people as people, rather than as other, benefits the greatest number of people. I hope the above rambling makes some kind of sense, and continue to look forward to how QC will look in the future.
There are lots of wonderful moments in those 5000 strips but I think that "Faye, will you help me take off my armour?" remains supremely adorable :)
I can't even remember when I started reading QC (12 years at least) but I'm glad I found it. You shifting the focus, to what feels right/interests you is the best thing, and kept me reading and I'm looking forward to new perspectives, and growth for characters who have become like old friends over all this time :) To the next 5000! :D
Haha, for a moment there I thought you said five THOUSAND... [checks watch] [checks calendar] [checks beard colour] ...oh, my.
My beard went grey while reading Questionable Content
Holy guacamole I've just realised I'll have been reading your comics for 20 years this year, Jeph. Here's to another 5000 comics 😂 And thank you for each and every one!
I've been reading since there were a few hundred QCs as well, and it has been part of my daily morning routine for many years now. Thank you and congrats!
Dang man i hadn't even noticed how high that number had gone... time was i could knock out a full reread in a couple of hours! Thank you for all of it, Jeph. it's been wonderful to watch QC grow with us.
Congrats!!!
A huge welcoming achievement. Congrats :)
I admire Marten's take on this: His hoodie matters to him.
I got on board when there were a few hundred QCs, and binge-read to catch up over one weekend. I’ve been staying current since then, and I’ve never stopped adoring your work. ❤️
I reread the comic (from 1 through current) on a semi regular schedule. Maybe 3? times a year or so? Worth it.
Thanks for everything you do, Jeph! I've been reading QC since I was a teenager and it's always been a cornerstone of my day. It's helped me figure out a lot about myself, and I'm always appreciative of how open, honest and welcoming both you and the community have been.
Congrats on the huge milestone! I've been reading since issue c.20 and been loving it ever since! Here's to many more years of QC
Congrats! I feel like I never had a time in my life where QC wasn't the first thing I read in the morning ;-).
Didn't think I'd ever read 5000 comics, but I've read each and every one. It's the first thing I do in the morning (sunday to friday) when I make it to the front room. I use to just hit "q" in my browser's address bar and it knew where to go, now it's "p" for patreon. Thank you!
Woop woop! Thanks for all the awesome!
Congratulations on 5000. I am looking forward for QC every day. So I would like to thank you very much.
Congrats Jeph! This has been such a fun, incredible story to follow. Thank you for everything!
It's good you're not sending Marten into the sunset, especially not so shortly before ... Mar 10. Ahem.
Happy 5000 comix day! Thank you for each and every one of them <3
Wooo! here’s to over 9000!
Congratulations - seems like I've been reading QC for ever, and hopefully will continue to do so.
Eeeeee! I'm so happy for Jeph and for the comic to have come this far! I don't actually remember where the comic was at when I began, I just remember my best friend sending me a link on MSN, and I started reading. There must've been a decent-ish backlog, because later when I was revising for my (?)AS levels (which would make it... 2008?) I had to install a site blocking extension to stop me binge reading the comic all the time :D QC has always been, and remains, one of my very favourite webcomics. Thank you Jeph for bringing us this story, and I'm really happy it continues to be fun ^^
5000 Comics (+many uncounted bembo adventures :D ). Incredible. I know I started reading somewhere around the time Hanners appeared which would be what, comic 500-600 somewhere? and here we are, what feels like an internet century later. Thank you Jeph for many many great years!
Been reading since late 2007 when I bought my first computer and started bingeing webcomics. Congrats on #5000 from a swedish chimney sweep.
This certainly is my favorite series for entertainment, and has managed to keep my interest since I was a kid when my dad first introduced it to me. I still get quite excited when a new arc gets introduced. I've read and dropped quite a lot of web comics (mostly due to inconsistencies in uploads or suddenly stopping entirely,) and I'm pretty sure this is the first one that got me into the medium. This has remained my #1 the entire time as my taste has changed and I feel it will stay there.
Amazing congratulations on the five thousand! It's amazing to think of all the things that have happened through all those strips. I'm very glad to hear we're going to get to stay with Cubetown for a while without losing the folks in Northampton. I'm interested to see how long it takes them to stick a crown on Claire's head and declare her Queen regnant with absolute authority. I'm pretty sure sorting out Moray's role is already way past any possible definition of the job of a librarian. But maybe not a Librarian.
Congratulations on this milestone! I've been a reader since 2006 and about once a year, go back through the whole story again, just to take a trip back to where the characters, and you, were. Through good times and bad. (Do you still once in a while listen to Modest Mouse?) I love the guided evolution of Marten's story.
20 years and 5000 comics. Most excellent. 😎
Congrats on 5k, good sir. It’s been a privilege to read your work on a near daily basis for…. Over a decade, (really?) Wow! Can’t wait to see what happens next.
Is she accepting a job or taking over all of cubetown?
Yes
Ooohhhh 5000!! Congrats!!!
Gratz !!! Happy 5k WOW !
I remember getting excited when I first found QC because it was set in NoHo, where I used to live. Pretty sure I found it when it was in the low triple digits, and it's been a wonderful constant bit of joy ever since. Thank you so much for everything you do, Jeph! And congratulations on hitting 5000, that's such an impressive and amazing milestone! 💜🎉
I'm so happy that you have found new joy in the ridiculousness that is Cubetown, and I can't wait to see more of what it has to offer. Thank you for making this comic and sharing it with the world.
The big five oh. oh. OH.
is it le petit mort?
Thank you for this. I've been reading long enough that I honestly don't know when I started, and you know what? **deep breath** You deserve all the good dogs that you've had, and that's pretty much my highest level of praise. You are a Good Person.
I'm having more fun reading than ever before too! So happy to hear you're enjoying it still.
Congrats! That’s amazing work, and I’m proud to support you here, and in your previous kickstarter. Speaking of which… any more printed volumes coming out?
People are allowed to have quiet, stable periods of time in their life while others get to deal with all the bs of the world. Marten had his quiet time for awhile, now its time for him to shine again.
What happened to Natasha back in episode 280 something? I kid, I kid. Since I was introduced to QC and other comics back in the before fore time, I have tried to be the schwag buying, Patreon supporting, book buying kind of fan. See you at 10k maybe? If the AI overlords don't decimate us all...
I think the optimal solution is 2 comics a day, one of Cubetown and one of Northampton.
I remember my then boyfriend, now husband, telling me about this really cool webcomic he'd found, I should really check it out. That was back in ... 2007, I think. It's been a great journey, and I'm so grateful that it isn't over yet. Thank you for creating and sharing.
Been following you since the early hundreds when it was all.Indie Rock in-jokes. Your writing and art have come a long way.
I stumbled upon your comic somewhere between 2003 and 2004 so pretty early on and have been hooked ever since. When I ever meet someone who is also into webcomics, I always ask them if QC is on their radar and the answer 99% of the time is yes. You have given so much entertainment to so many. Thank you so much for this comic.
Congrats on 5000! I mark my time as a QC fan by still considering Hannelore a “new character” in my brain.
Remember the giant panel in which she declared that she ends messes? Absolute glory.
I didn't start following until you were already at 600 or so. (Of course I read the back catalogue). So 4400/(6*52) = 14 years?
I don't remember when I discovered QC, but I remember following it for a year or so then heading to the archives to read all 1000+ of the previous strips. I don't think I've missed a single strip, though I may be a bit fuzzy on some of the details.
It's a pleasure to be here. I've been following the comic since around the time Pintsize & Winslow were convicting Hanners of robo ass-grabbery. Amazing how far robotic ass shenanigans have progressed!
Me realizing I've been reading this comic for over 16 years now: *springs leak* Congrats, Jeph! You continue to entertain, educate and excoriate Elon everytime. 🍻🎉 You're my favourite adopted Canadian.
When was the first one? Because 1. Congratulations! 2. Oh God I’m old
Congrats man - looking forward to seeing where the journey takes us next! ^_^
Got to say I was in the boat thinking the story was coming to an end (especially when you did a time jump)... I'm glad it's not, but also if you had decided to bring it to an end I would support that. I remeber when Dr. McNinja came to an end and I thought it was only a matter of time until QC did the same... how wrong I was.
What would Moray quoting entail anyway? Would she be reabsorbed into the Director, or just leave Cubetown and attempt a new life in the regular world as a robot slime lady?
Quitting*. For some reason the “edit” feature isn’t working.
Jesus I've been reading since just before spooky bot first showed up. Time flies, keep doing what you do. 10,000 chapters questionable content!
CONGRATS, JEPH! 5000 pages is an amazing, and well-earned, milestone! QC is one of the first webcomics I discovered, back when web was still fairly young, and remains one of my favorites. Thanks for the many years of delight!
I should also say that I've loved Claire's hero turn. Righteous indignation combined with compassion and good sense is a powerful tonic!
I've been reading since early 2004, during my second senior year of high school. This was one of three hand drawn web comics I read back then; every thing else was sprite comics. I've must have re-read the archives at least a dozen times by now. The first time only took me a couple hours, now it's at least a month long endeavor. Still worth it! Thank you for all the years of entertainment; I greatly appreciate your work! Thank you Jeph!
It feels weird that I've been reading QC for 15 years.
Congrats man! Your comic and it's characters has been keeping me company every day for over 12 years. From my first main desk job (where I found it while bored in training) to my first kid (now I read it after I put her to sleep thanks to patreon.). Thanks for all you do, and can't wait to keep following along with the adventures!
Def trust yourself. You’re the most experienced writer QC has ever had.
I know that I wasn't here from the beginning, or even in the first 500-1000 comics, but I have been reading QC daily for so long I truly do not remember when I started (at least 10 years ago tho). Thank you for an amazing daily story to look forward to!
Hey Jeph, I just want to join in with all your other friends here in that we appreciate you sticking with this for so long and sharing with us your weird funny sense of humor. We are here for as long as you'll have us.
I can't remember how long I've been reading QC. I've definitely seen several shifts of art style in real time, so maybe a daily reader since the high triple digits? It's been a journey - for the characters, for me as a reader, and for you as a writer, artist, and maturing human being. I recently re-read the entire archive (took several weeks, even with multiple hours-long binge reading sessions) and enjoyed taking that journey again. It was fascinating watching you wake up to the power of diversity, representation, and sensitivity to marginalised people. In the first couple of hundred there are some dodgy jokes that you definitely wouldn't make today, but they provided a wonderful contrast to just how inclusive and compassionate your strips are today. Over the years I've gotten DEEPLY invested in this bunch of weirdos. I seriously cried and spent a whole day bummed out when Marten and Dora split up. I cried with joy when Claire and Marten fell in love, and made all my trans friends read that storyline. Basically, I'll be here reading them for as long as you keep writing them. Take it wherever it needs to go, wind it up when you feel it's done, whatever works for you. I'll be reading and contributing on Patreon for as long as QC exists. Thanks for inviting me along on this whacky ride. :)
I searched my old emails and I was reading the archives for the first time during November 2012, so I've been in the club for a bit over eleven years. :)
Congrats on 5000, Jeph! I've been reading QC on and off since it started, and I gotta say its never been better. Looking forward to sticking around for the next 5000! Also dang, look at Claire extending the same grace to Moray AND Scientist Girl cuz she recognizes the root problems. She's gonna be a great Head Librarian/Administrator.
Daily routine since college :) I've loved it. Even good to meet you once and didn't regret it. Also there may or may not be a small drawing of pintsize on a circuit board in space.
I've been reading your comic for nearly 20 years now, and I keep the allosaurus you drew for me when you visited Yale on my bookshelf. Thank you for creating such a lovely part of my life for so long. I appreciate you and your work so much!!
That is a cool keepsake/trophy.
There’s no reason this comic can’t hold the whole world, if you want it to. Congratulations!
can't remember exactly when I jumped into the comic but its been apart of my daily schedule since I've had a computer. It's helped me decompress both through my attempt at college and the stressful experience that is the navy. I've loved watching all of these characters grow and the art style adapt over the years. Glad to hear it's going to keep going for as long as you enjoy drawing the comic and it continues to be able to support you.
Just think, someday it'll be over 9000.
Over 9000?!?!
I first stumbled upon QC just after you started it then lost it then found it again a few years later and have been reading it daily ever since, it has gotten me though a lot of hard times. Thank you for your hard work.
Congratulations and thank you.
5000 is wild! I don't like to sit here and think that I've been following for 12 years because that makes me feel old but HOLY CRAP ITS BEEN 12 YEARS. bruh, I'm more committed to you than any relationship I've ever had 🤣
I took a few years break for a while during college, but came back recently and did a complete re-read. Now that I'm caught up I love seeing the notification when you've posted a new page! So happy to hear you are still having fun and going to keep going with it. Wishing you all the best.
Woo! Big 5000! Congrats, it's been amazing being along for the ride.
Clinton is going to absolutely shit himself at the idea that he has to beg Claire for a job in order to get to Cubetown! Jeph, I've been reading for a long time and it has been great watching your art evolve and grow while your writing matures and takes on depths of its own! I'm here for the next 5000 strips too!
As a dedicated reader since 2005, congratulations, Jeph. It's a huge accomplishment to keep going for this long, and especially to just keep getting better and better! Your art has continually matured, and the stories your telling just keep getting more interesting! It's inspiring to see.
Congrats Jeph!!! Been following you since the blue apartment days! I've loved it all.
Got in a little late-ish, summer of 2010. Fell in love with the characters and whatever madcap adventures they get into. Either way, congrats on the milestone Jeph, love from California.
Reading since 2008 or so, congrats! Happy to stick around for as long as it goes.
Congratulations Jeph! I started reading while I was recovering from a temporarily-fatal surgical mishap (I got better) and later met my fiancé' in the drawing chats you used to do. Looking forward to more!
How many of those things does he even have?
Hey Jeph been reading since 2008 - QC has been such a rock for me through many changes. I'm so glad I can be a patreon now and help you keep it going!
Thanks, Jeph! QC really has become part of my routine. I've been thrilled to see you get so much support here, after the years of working the conventions. You deserve it!!
Squirty slime girl!
Congrats! I started in around 1600ish I think. Been a great time and has become a regular part of my routine. Thanks for the entertainment and here's to where ever QC goes in the future!
Congratulations, well done, and thank you very much!!
5000 comics. Amazing milestone. I started reading it in 2008, about the time Faye hooked up with Sven, so comic 1078 plus or minus 1 or 2. At the time I had only been practicing medicine for a little more than 3 years, and the only comics I was reading online were For Better or Worse, Sheldon, and Questionable Content. A year or two later I added Girls With Slingshots and Drive. Today I read Sheldon, Drive, and Questionable Content. I still support Danielle Corsetto on Patreon, though, even if I haven't been able to fully get into some of her post GWS comics. I really need to find the time to reread QC from the beginning again.
Thank you for the comics Jeph. I've been a long time follower and the cast of QC always brightens my day. Here's to the next 5000? I'll be sticking around either way 🥂
Congratulations and Thank you for 5000! I think I started reading in 2005 or 6. Keep doing you. I love your work and it's a privilege to support you. Thank you for all these years, and here to as many more comics as you're inspired to make!
Congratulations on 5000 comics, Jeph. I just sent the email we discussed.
Congratulations Marten: That is your ONLY hoodie LMAO.
Thanks for entertaining me for literally half my life
Congratulations on 5000. Thank you for the stories.
Congratulations! QC is by far my favorite webcomic, and I've loved seeing the stories and art progress. 5000 more!
Wow, 5000. I can't believe we're here already. I've had a great time with this cast, and I hope to be here as long as you are too.
Been reading since 2005 … and pretty sure you’re one of my first few Patreon adds. It’s not much, but wanted to contribute in any way I could and I love the alerts coming through and clicking to see the next episode (I don’t always comment but I love them all so much!!). Thank you so much and here’s to so many more!
Still questionable after all this time!
Huzzah! It's been a joy sharing the ride with you.
Congratulations on 5000! I started reading somewhere around 500, so I’ve been reading it for … lots of years. I’m already feeling ancient today because I just discovered something I thought I bought just a few years ago I bought fifteen years ago, so I’m not doing that math.
And for comic 5001, Moray goes to pieces - literally - and ruins everybody’s clothes.
Congratulations and thank you so much for making this, I've been reading QC since 2009.. I think?? Wow wtf is time. And I can't imagine it not being a part of my life. I'm glad I joined the patreon because otherwise noone unstable what I'm cackling about
Thank you for 5000 wonderful comics that have both made me laugh and touched my heart! Here's to another 5000!
Congrats on the milestone. Looking forward to the next 5000! 😁
Congrats on hitting 5000 comics!! As long as you’re writing more, you’ll keep getting my Patreon dollars. My life is fairly high stress, and I love my QC break every day.
I'm going to love the back and forth, I can even see a moving episode arc whole cast house warming party
As a 28 year veteran in technical services, I receive a truly astounding number of emails per day, and QC is my favourite pretty much every day. Congrats on 5K Jeph, and thank you!
Congratulations! My sweetie turned me on to QC at “baking is science for hungry people” and I’ve really enjoyed the ride.
Jeph, Wow, 5,000 comics! Thanks for doing this, and thanks for the stories!
Been following along since double digits. As both an avid reader and occasional writer, I know it isn't easy to keep a narrative interesting for that long. Much respect.
Congratulations :D I'm so glad you are having a peak and that we are here to enjoy it too.
Long, long time reader, new Patreon. Love the Cubetown possibilities, but also love Northampton crowd, even/especially? Hanners, but also May (my fave AI), Roko and Yay, Melon and Lemon, those sweet, innocent dipshits. Also, please more Sam and Emmett! I'd love to see that relationship blossom (Sam is so oblivious). Congrats on 5k, bro!
Congratulations on 5000 comics, and here's hoping for 5000 more! (Or however many you feel like doing while still having fun!)
Congrats on the milestone! From a reader perspective, I wanna say that I've been loving Marten and Claire in this new setting, your joy in writing them again is coming through, and as much as I love all the characters that have joined the cast over the years, it does feel nice to have a classic Marten story arc! Which is to say, keep trusting yourself, I'm glad to continue being a supporter!
QC helped get me through a very difficult spot in my life and it continues to brighten my day every week. Thanks for keeping it going for so long!
I've been reading this comic half my life now and it continues to just get better. Gotta say though, it's a trip reading back through the archives and seeing the shift from indie jokes(tm) to robots, gay, and gay robots.
Maybe the first thing Liz cracks by finally getting down to work is teleportation.
Congrats Jeph. You keep doing you - it's worked out for the very best so far. Love your work and look forward to supporting you into the future!
Honestly thank god. Glad the strip is going somewhere new and interesting and not just returning to the old coffee shop. Grats on 5000 strips. I did not expect Cubetown to last at all because web comic artists tend to never actually do anything different once something works so glad to be wrong about this.
It's been a hell of a ride for a hell of a lot of years and I've enjoyed every bit of it. I look forward to whatever comes next for these misfits and goblins.
Keep up the good work, we'll stick with you.
The Director damn well better be paying Claire C suite money with budget and authority to match.
Glad to hear you're still into making the strip! It's a bright spot for me every day. I've also been reading since 2012. I am also a fan of DeathMole/Stelliferous/Hakase.
You mean you don't want to double your work and just start an alternate comic just for Cubetown? =P In all seriousness though, congrats. I've read (and re-read) the comics from the beginning probably 4-5 times, and they've meant a lot to me ever since I started reading back in ~2009. Perhaps as a celebration I'll go back and read Alice Grove again =D
Congrats, dude. I know it hasn't always been easy for you, and that's part of what makes this run so inspiring. Your creativity and your persistence are a daily joy, as well as motivation for me to keep going. What you do really helps me out when I get down on myself, and for that you'll always have my thanks.
Five thousand? :) Congratulations, Jeph. Now... We need more Droid 06.
Congratulations on 5,000, and congratulations even more so on writing a comic that even after 5,000 pages is still getting better and going new and interesting places. Also congratulations on a fanbase where there are enough people choosing to pay you money that 30 minutes after you posted this big round number, there are nearly 100 congratulatory comments on it. Even if it does make this comment section hard to read today. :)
Well done Jeph. It’s another step into a QC universe. You keep creating such interesting characters and storyline’s. And making us love old characters and wanting to see what they do. Create your universe. Pick a place and character and write what you enjoy. Then pick another place and character and write there. We’ll follow you.
I don't remember when I started reading, but I want to say somewhere in the first couple to few years, but it's been a joy watching where things have evolved over time. That change and growth is part of what keeps it interesting. Thank you for letting us all enjoy these stories as you've told them. I can't wait to see where we go from here.
The cubetown setup is giving me vibes that remind me of Alice Grove, while still being undeniably QC. I've been reading since just before Marten and Dora started dating, and this comic has done so much for me- Claire in particular helped me come out as trans to my family, cause i sent them some comics with her to gauge their reactions. It really does feel like the comic has grown as i have, and vice versa. So, thank you so much for the 20 YEARS of laughs, cries, and sighs. They mean more than i could ever say. 💕
Gosh we are old.. I was only 16 when I found this comic... 20(ish) years later...... I can't believe this have been part of my routine since then.. It's been QC and GPF that have survived with me since those days! Congratulations on the milestone!
I’ve been reading since ~2007 and though my consistency with reading has fluctuated over time, I love the characters, settings, and story arcs you have created! Thank you so much for this lovely world!
I started reading autumn 2016, along with most all the guest/crossover artists in your circle. Looking forward to much more Butts Disease and also more making glasses sexy (and I don't mean just Faye, Marigold, Veronica, Aurelia, Claire, Penelope, Willow...the guys too).
Congratulations on 5000 comics! I have been anticipating the next QC page each weekday for most of my adult life and I'm in my mid-thirties! I hope you continue this amazing comic for at least another 5000 pages and then some!
My friend showed me qc back in 2012 in college. I will never be able to repay him for all the laughs, smiles ,and feels that you've given. Thanks
Congratulations! Go Claire!!
Happy to have been reading since the TEH shirt days!
I have been reading since around those days and just today realized that "TEH shirt" is arguably a pun on "t-shirt".
I've been reading since I was in Middle School. Roughly around strip 250 I believe. I thought that was a big backlog at the time haha. I've grown a lot since then, so have you and this comic. I've loved the journey, and honestly I think Questionable Content helped me be a less toxic male. There is so much love, acceptance, and understanding in QC. Thanks for all the hard work, and here's to however far this long and winding road takes us.
I've been reader since comic 500 and something, and my daily dose, almost daily dose, of QC is just so so important to me. I love all the characters and the interactions. I normally dislike soaps, but I'm proud to make QC my one exception! I'll be here for the next 5000 if you're up to it Jeph. Much love.
Congratulations! Always happy when a new strip shows up on your patreon, it's a daily ritual :)
I read that as "new ship", and ... okay, that doesn't happen daily, but it does happen pretty regularly and make people happy!
“ I once read something somewhere that stated 33 as being the average number of strips webcomic authors will produce before quitting out of frustration/boredom/etc. I don't know if that's true or not, but it's always been in the back of my head. It makes today's strip, #33, a little special to me- I've made it this far and I have no plans of stopping anytime soon” ;)
Congratulations Jeph!
I started reading way back in 2003 when I read tons of webcomics. This is the only one I still read on a regular basis. Thanks for 20 years of good times!
Congratulations, and thank you!
Congrats on 5,000! This comic has been a source of joy for me for many years & I'm glad it will be there for many more! Much Love to you! 💖
QC is, bar none, my favorite webcomic ever. And I've been around awhile. (I think my previous all-time favorites were Multiplex, Abominable, and Bobbins.)
wooHoo! Looking forward to all the new stuff happening.
thank you for keeping this comic going, Jeph. QC means a lot to me, as it has for many years at this point. I'm just glad to hear you're having as much fun with it as I was hoping :) also, i don't care what u said that one time on i think it was tumblr but alice grove and qc are absolutely connected and nothing will convince me otherwise
Keep on Truckin, baby
Been reading since almost the very beginning and it’s still a great part of my day. I’m LOVING the Cubetown storyline and can’t wait to see more.
Have been reading for 10+ years and will continue to do so, unless you pull a Scott Adams ☠️
QC got me through some tough times when I was living in Japan. I've been back in my home country for 13 years, and love getting the Patreon emails (almost) daily to see what is going on. Keep it up, Jeph. QC is a wonderful strip.
Thanks for trans-friendly comics that are also good SF that are also my favourite soap. The two days a week this doesn’t come out I always miss it. (Also, hmm, maybe it’s time for the annual full reread.)
Yeah, it might be time for a reread again, even though it takes longer each time for some strange reason.
It has been so wild and fun watching this story shift and change over the years. I can hardly believe that it started as mostly in-jokes about bands I had never heard of. It's been such a fun bright spot in my life for over 10 years now! Keep up the great work.
I have been reading this comic since before Hannalore, and I was afraid you were wrapping it up to pursue other interests. Don't get me wrong, I loved Alice Grove, but I am delighted you'll be continuing this one. But I do miss Steve and Angus. And as a queer man, I'd like more Elliot and Clinton stories, but I love reading where this story goes. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING THIS WITH US.
Having that change of focus happen right around number 5000 sure was scary. Great to hear you still enjoy making the comic, because I immensely enjoy reading it.
Hurray! I'm so glad that you're still creating this great content! It's been awesome to see you grow and it's still a delight to read.
I'm so happy that you're having more fun than ever -- you deserve it. Thanks for putting great stories and art out into the world.
Am I miss remembering but didn't Dora say Martin sucks at making coffee when they were going out? I thought that was why he got a job at the library instead of the coffee shop. Is Martin's coffee shop going to lead to some pissed off scientists? With how crazy this place is I wouldn't want to piss of crazy scientists. Then again Claire looks like she will be pretty much in charge so maybe they will be to scared to piss off the boss' boyfriend.
Claire's gonna whip that place into shape so hard they'll think Indiana Jones rolled through town. Prepare for amazing scientific advancements!
Haing been around since I was a teen in like 2007 being sneaky because it was called "Questionable Content", reading the comic has been the most constant thing throughout the last almost two decades. Really glad I found it <3
I've been reading since...maybe 2005 or so? QC has gotten me through some shit, honestly. May we get 5000 more
It's amazing that a comic I started reading in college, on my gigantic monitor, in my tiny room, is still going and I'm still reading and enjoying it. Thank you, I appreciate you.
Congratulations! That's a huge milestone! You know, cause we're human and big round numbers impress us. More impressively, I love getting my QC ping (nearly) every day from Patreon, and look forward to the next 5000. Not many comics I can say that about.
Five thousand. Wow. Congratulations!
I've been reading QC for so many years that I have no idea how many years I've been reading it. And it JUST KEEPS GETTING BETTER. Congratulations on the big five oh oh oh and I look forward to many more. I only ask that you stop the day after I die because if I miss anything I will be SO MAD.
I was told about QC several years ago, and went back to the beginning to catch up, and have been savoring every single strip since. Thank you, Jeph and loyal fans, for an amazing journey into speculative fiction.
At least Cubetown is going to get some guidance. The Director isn't doing much directing. Presumably because of the nature of the being.
Your work in "Questionable Content" is amazing, and I'm looking forward to the new shift towards Cubetown. Keep up the fantastic work!
Congrats, I still remember going back and reading the few dozen strips I needed to read the back story on when I discovered the strip in late 2008 in my Freshman Dorm. The time between then and now has been wild, but still reading most days, and often times when I open a browser not sure what I want to look at, my fingers mindlessly type out questionablecontent though I usually read it here now.
Number 5000 without a butt joke?
Congratulations on 5000! Can't wait to see what happens next.
💜
I realize placing Cubetown near Canada was a condition of your residency. We're cool with that. But Canada better keep their paws off of Northampton! Many congrats for such a fun and endearing journey for 5000 QC steps (plus Alice, plus many other unnumbered posts, including many that were redrawn). Thanks for gathering such a cool community here! This is one of my favorite places, talking QC with my peeps, and getting snarky and punny. The "support" is mutual and multi-directional!
5000! Amazing! You have made me laugh out loud at least once a week for nearly 18 years. Thank you for your work!
Congrats on so many comics! I started reading about strip 150 (maybe) on a link from Something Positive, and have loved it all. That strip has flourished with multiple settings so there's no reason QC can't as well. Looking forward to many more strips!
I’m trying to remember how I got started with QC. It was early on; just before or just after the revelation about Faye’s dad. But I can’t remember what led me to you. Anyway, thank for keeping me entertained all these years. Glad to hear you have no prospects to wrap up the show. Looking forward to the future.
I've been reading since 772 when I was 13 years old, so I've spent more of my life reading QC than not. You helped shape my sense of humor and brought me joy on the daily. Thank you so much!
I have been reading this comic for 17 years. I'm cool to keep the habit.
Holy shit! I think I joined around the 500s, but I read the entire backlog once I got hooked. This and XKCD are the only two webcomics I read (and I don’t keep up with XKCD regularly). Great job and I can’t wait to see where the storyline goes in the future!
I remember stumbling on this comic about 4 years ago. I went back and read them all from the beginning. I'm glad I did, this has been such a fun ride.
Thank you for the wonderful story, Jeph. Even on my worst days, it has always been a small, yet welcome, light. I love the story, and this community that follows it. And, I hope to continue to read it for many more updates.
<i>Of course</i> Moray's a squirter
I was expecting something like this to come from Yelling Bird, but it’s always a joy to hear from you.
Won't lie, I'm a little sad to hear the gang splitting up (I know they'll still talk and see each other on occasion n stuff, but y'know), but I've loved all the twists and turns and choices you've made for the last 20 years, so I have faith that you'll do great and it'll be fun, just like it has been. Although the more I think about it, I guess all the comics I know that are still going strong after this long have done a cast move/split up like this, so that's kinda funny. Regardless, keep doin' you, and I'm sure it'll go great, because I'm glad to have been around for these 5k comics so far, and would gladly stick around for another 5k more. Here's to QC! <3
Moray looks like the leak might come from her eyeballs bursting. ☹️
Excellent job, thank you for 5k+ comics and yelling birds!
Jeph, thank you the years of brilliance and creative storytelling. We all look forward to what comes next. I tell my friends about this strip and have probably brought a few dozen more into the community.
Congratulations! 5000 is quite a milestone. Thanks for bringing us along for the ride.
Been reading QC for more than half my life now, since basically the beginning. I'm grateful to hear you won't be wrapping up anytime soon but when it is over, I'll consider it a life well read. Thank you for sharing your art with us!
Here's to the next five thousand!
Congrats on the milestone! I'm really glad you're still enjoying making QC! I'm certainly still enjoying reading it, 16ish years on from when I first came across it.
Congrats! I honestly can't believe I've been checking QC every single weekday for the last 15 years. Shit's wild.
Been reading since college (so 2007 or 8?) It really brings me a ton of joy. Congratulations on 5000
Holy crap, 5000 comics! Congratulations, and I'm looking forward to seeing this comic go on. Been reading regularly for more than ten years, and I love seeing the twists and turns this story takes
yay!!! thanks Jeph for years of entertainment
Been reading for since Sara was a character and have no plans to stop now. Congratulations on 5000 and thanks for making so many friends for us crazy internet weirdos.
Love it and been reading since around the first 100
I've been reading since 2008. 5000 comics and I've read every single one. These characters are part of my life now. I've seen them grow and change in unexpected ways when you could have left them in predictable ruts and that's what has kept me reading. So stoked to see this whole new direciton.
I joined right around the time Faye realized she was in love with Bubbles. Been loving the ride. Keep it up!
Congrats on finishing your first 5K!
I've been here since the tequila monster.
Congrats. You have a good thing going here.
Thanks Jeph for the years of entertainment you gave us!
Congrats on 5000! QC is by far my favorite comic and I will happily follow it wherever it leads.
been around for the last 4000, excited to see what comes!
I can tell you’re having a good time writing QC, which is great, because it leads directly to my having a good time reading it. Here’s to the next sheaf of storylines!
Congratulations and thank you!!! All of your characters new and old mean so much to me. It’s a comfort to read this comic every week. ❤️
I have been reading QC since 2005 and I have loved every moment. QC has helped shaped me into the flesh prison I am today and I am eternally grateful for what you have created.
Congratulations on 5000! I can’t wait to see what the next 5K look like.
Congratulations, and well done. Your dedication to this is nothing short of herculean. Thank you for many years of enjoyment, and here's to as many more years as this makes you happy.
Congratulations, Jeph. Marten there is no such thing as a best hoodie. Moray, cry when they leave the room. Elizabeth, go take a shower! Claire, go get yourself a coffee.
I just wanted to say, I absolutely love your comic, I've been reading it for like the last 18 years, it is the one webcomic I've worked to keep up with. I was active duty military on submarines, so whenever I pulled into a port and had access to Internet again, Questionable Content was the first thing I'd check after reaching out to my family. It is the one of the few webcomics I can constantly reread without ever getting bored of it. Congrats on 5000 comics, can't wait to read the next 5000!
Oh thank gawd, I was honestly worried this series was going to end and that would have been a devastating emotional blow for me.
🇨🇦 🇨🇦 🇨🇦
Congratulations! Only 1969 more comics until you hit THE NUMBER.
nice nice
Congratulations on the 5000! It seems like yesterday that Dora was calling a Code 3 on Bubbles...(#3740)
QC is an incredibly important part of my life, and I thank you for it!
