Doesn't Bubs mean that it should have occurred to her that Sam CAN reach that window? If Sam COULDN'T, she wouldn't have to close that window...

With Sam's spray business taking off, now would be a good time to sit down with Jim and Veronica to get it on a more sustainable level. Booking, supplies, pricing, etc. And a plan to save something from her proceeds. And not neglect her schoolwork.

I just realized something. Faye isn't just putting on muscle; she's also losing weight. I noticed something different in her face, and at first was ready to chalk it up to the art style change. Then I noticed the rest of her.
Bubbles probably has her eating better and exercising regularly. Plus, getting laid on the regs does wonders for your self-esteem!

14-year-olds are surprisingly resilient. I used to jump from higher than 8 feet quite often when I was that age. It's when she <i>does</i> grow up that she won't be able to do it as easily. I'm doing well to jump out of bed without hurting myself these days.

I love Sam so much, she's like if I was actually confident when I was 12 and not just an awkward tomboy alone catching lizards.

I'm reminded of that time where Dora hadn't given a key to any of the opening crew, and one of them (I'm thinking it was probably Raven) breaks in through the air vents, with ... poor results. Can't find the comic, right now, but I'm sure someone with better memory / searching skills will come through.

Sam is taking her internship seriously. That deserves a little trust on everyone's part.

Once as an undergrad, I decided the reasonable solution to locking myself out of my dorm room was to go out the bathroom window on the opposite side of the hall, pull myself up onto the roof (I was on the top [4th] floor), climb over the slate roof, drop down to a ledge outside my window, and get in that way. Ah, the recklessness of youth.

I think Bubbles is referring to Faye’s inability to reach the high window, not Sam’s parkour skills.

And then there was the time hubby checked on our eldest before school, only to find that she was about to go out her bedroom window, to the roof of the front porch, and thence to the ground. Unfortunately, she was using a bungee cord, so he intervened.
Sadly, I can agree this is fun. Did it a couple time in art school, after the building closed down so I could work on a project. I would have not have been as cavalier about it though if someone walked in....

if she's an old, good lord I hesitate to imagine what I am. at a meeting with 3 senior Naval officers the other day, as they compared year groups (year of commissioning - seniority thing) I realized I graduated graduate school before any of them graduated undergrad. & I spent years at sea before going back to grad school.
I mean, the kid's not wrong. And helluva work ethic. Sam's gonna be all right.
