Truth and Beauty are better choices that Top and Bottom, which would put an entirely different cast on all the dark paraphernalia in the club.
Truth and Beauty are dark, melancholy, goth, and vaguely threatening. Violence and Regret are bright, cheerful, colorful and often charming.

If Beauty is Truth, and Truth is Beauty, as Keats informs us, then things must get frightfully confusing every morning when the sisters are trying to get through their morning routines, let alone when they go to bed.
Multiply embodied AIs have been shown to exist. Penumbra Calculus seems a dark secretive place such an entity could reasonable hide. That, and the Cubetown Director already knows about Yay.

My mathematics teacher for "Calculi of Computer Science" (and if it's not dismaying to learn that, after all the hard work of learning calculus, you then learn there are multiple versions of it, well, this class is for you) told us you need a ritual "to tell your brain you're going to do math. Have a specific variety of tea, have a set of slippers you only wear when you're reading a paper, draw a pentagram on the floor in espresso powder to summon the demons of math, whatever it takes."
