Magic Path: Greed
Pre-requisite: Malicious Philosopher's Stone (Greed)
Can evolve into: Power of Infinity (Full Mastery)
Magic Series: Lesser Sins
<Description>
Greed is one of the eight Lesser Sins, granted to those who fused with a Malicious Philosopher's Stone attuned to Greed, or Philosopher's Stones composed of souls with a major disposition towards avarice.
As its name suggests, the various powers of Greed are tied around the concept of material gain and wealth, mainly revolving around stealing an opponent's abilities, drawing upon more skills, and in more desperate cases, trading away one's own Mana for unimaginable power. An ability tree fit for those with unimaginable greed.
It stands as being relatively average amongst the Lesser Sins, being stronger than Lust, Envy, Gluttony and Sloth, but weaker than Apathy, Pride and Wrath.
<Basic Form (Levels 1-5)>
Ultimate Shield: The first unlockable ability of Greed. The user encases their body in a layer of carbon, making them highly resilient against physical attacks.
Evolution I (Immunity): The first evolution to the Ultimate Shield. The user's carbon shield is perfected, making them immune to magic and projectile damage.
Evolution II (Carbon Punch): The second evolution to the Ultimate Shield, and an external application to it. The user can turn anything it punches twice in consecutive order into weak graphite, reducing them to dust.
Evolution III (Lion's Heart): The third evolution to the Ultimate Shield. The user has effectively stopped their own physical "time", making them immortal, immutable and invulnerable. This immutability also allows them to fly, as they do not interact with gravity or any other natural forces, and also destroy anything they touch on contact, as they are effectively "immovable objects".
Evolution IV (Lion's Imbuement): The fourth evolution to the Ultimate Shield, and an external application to Lion's Heart. The user can imbue their Lion's Heart to various objects, making them indestructible and immutable, turning them into potent weapons that can destroy anything in their path.
<Specialisation Form (Levels 6-10)>
Stretch: The inverted form of Greed. An antithesis of Ultimate Shield, it lets the user stretch their limbs to long lengths.
Evolution I (Evolutionary Mimic): The second ability of Greed. The user can steal their opponents' stat-boosting spells for their own use. However, using this skill requires the user to have defeated them first.
Evolution II (Ability Mimic): The third ability of Greed. The user can now also steal an opponent's special abilities for their own use. However, using this skill requires the user to have defeated them first.
Evolution III (Space Dragon Mode): The third evolution to Stretch. The user can take upon the visage of a Space Dragon, granting them enhanced strength, resilience and spaceflight.
Evolution IV (God Dragon Mode): The fourth evolution to Stretch, and the further evolution to the Space Dragon Mode. Their Draconic form reaches the state of Divinity, letting them create black holes.
<Awakened Form (Levels 11-15)>
Longsword of Greed: The Sin Weapon of Greed. A longsword that can change into various forms, at the expense of a percentage of the user's Mana, and a further cost to use each form's ultimate techniques. In its base form, it merely possesses high sharpness and durability.
Evolution I (Level 1 – Bow): The first enhanced form of the Sin Weapon of Greed. This bow shoots energy arrows which can home in on the enemy. Its ultimate technique is Bloody Ptarmigan, which fires a more potent energy arrow, more akin to a laser beam.
Evolution II (Level 2 – Scythe): The second enhanced form of the Sin Weapon of Greed. This scythe can interact with the non-physical, letting it harm and slice any supernatural phenomena. Its ultimate technique is Deadly Inferno, which infuses the blade with a deadly curse that rots away attacked targets, which is able to affect even immortals.
Evolution III (Level 3 – Spear): The third enhanced form of the Sin Weapon of Greed. This spear possesses unimaginable destructive force with each thrust and swing. Its ultimate technique is Revolt Brionac, which can erase anything it touches from existence.
Evolution IV (Level 4 – Twin Blades): The fourth enhanced form of the Sin Weapon of Greed. The dual blades are very sharp and light, and it's ultimate technique is Infinity Divide, which lets it deliver an insurmountable flurry of homing and high-accuracy slashes.
<Super Awakened Form (Levels 16-20)>
Vessel of Greed: The Sin Vessel of Greed. This awakening lets the user gain one random ability. The efficacy of this newly-gained ability varies, ranging from omnipotent to near-useless.
Evolution I (Greater Vessel of Greed): The first evolution to the Vessel of Greed. The user can now gain a second additional ability.
Evolution II (Spirit of Greed): The second evolution to the Vessel of Greed. The user can now gain a third additional ability.
Evolution III (Fear of Greed): The third evolution to the Vessel of Greed. The user now gains a fourth additional ability.
Evolution IV (Master of Greed): The fourth and final evolution to the Vessel of Greed. The user can now obtain up to fifty new abilities.
