Combined Form: Original Sin

<Description>

The Lesser Sins are a set of demented Magic Paths. As the name suggests, these Magicks are associated with the Deadly Sins, with each of them having their abilities revolving around their respective Sin. There are eight of them in total, seven for the main Seven Sins, and the eighth being associated with the lesser-known Sin of Apathy.

These Magic Paths are bestowed to those who have managed to fuse with a Malicious Philosopher's Stone, special Philosopher's Stones composed of souls who are majorly inclined to a certain Sin. A Malicious Philosopher's Stone made of souls with an overall inclination to Greed grants the user the power of Greed, while those composed of narcissistic, boastful and arrogant souls grant the power of Pride.

Outside of specific abilities, all Lesser Sin wielders, no matter the type, are bestowed with "multiple lives", allowing them to regenerate and revive from fatal wounds as long as they have a sufficient amount of souls in their Philosopher's Stone. Naturally, this entails that draining their soul stock will eventually cause them to become fully mortal, so Lesser Sin wielders sometimes still go out of their way to avoid battles or attacks that waste away on too many souls.

<Universal Forms>

  • Awakened Form - Sin Weapon: The manifestation of a Sin in the form of a weapon. The Sin Weapons grant the wielder additional abilities, that they would normally be unable to channel with their own body. Each Sin Weapon also has its own trump card, known as an Ultimate Technique, which stands as the most powerful ability in each Sin Weapon's arsenal. Despite their power, however, they have a critical weakness, as since they are the user's Sin in physical form, destroying the Sin Weapons would inflict heavy, or even fatal damage to their users. Some Sin Weapons can also adopt multiple forms.

  • Super Awakened Form - Sin Vessel: The full awakening of the power of a Lesser Sin, from the user amassing both their own, along with surrounding negative and sinful emotions to critical levels, a process also known as "becoming the vessel". This awakening causes the user to develop new abilities.

<List of Lesser Sins>

  • Pride: Grants the wielder the ability to be one with, and manipulate shadows and darkness. At higher levels of mastery, the wielder further gains the ability to create constructs made of light, and forcibly destroy anything they perceive in the target to be inferior.

    • Vessel of Pride: The Sin Vessel of Pride. This awakening lets the user resurrect the dead.

  • Greed: Grants the wielder the ability to encase their body with carbon, greatly enhancing their physical attributes. At higher levels of mastery, the wielder further gains the ability to extend their limbs to longer lengths, steal and utilise the powers of the enemies they defeat (which is initiated by the wielder "devouring" their enemies with carbon tendrils filled with eyes and teeth), and also transform into a dragon.

    • Vessel of Greed: The Sin Vessel of Greed. This awakening lets the user obtain one new random ability. The efficacy of this newly-gained ability varies, ranging from omnipotent to near-useless.

  • Wrath: Grants the wielder enhanced visual acuity, sometimes bordering on letting them see the future. At higher levels of mastery, the wielder is further able to tap into a "Rage State" that boosts their stats tenfold, and induce the emotions of rage and anger in others around them.

    • Vessel of Wrath: The Sin Vessel of Wrath. This awakening gives the user drastically improved strength and firepower, enough to tear down most enemies in the way.

  • Envy: Grants the wielder the ability to shapeshift, including transforming into a more mutated, chimeric form. At higher levels of mastery, the wielder is able to cut through space itself.

    • Vessel of Envy: The Sin Vessel of Envy. This awakening lets the user see an opponent's full scope of abilities, and then steal one of their skills. In exchange, however, the user's own scope of abilities will be revealed to their opponent as well.

  • Lust: Grants the wielder sharp talons that can cut through most materials with ease. At higher levels of mastery, the wielder is able to manipulate life and death, by manipulating the "spiritual pleasure" their targets feel.

    • Vessel of Lust: The Sin Vessel of Lust. This awakening grants the user a greater stamina recovery rate.

  • Gluttony: Grants the wielder the ability to generate a massive portal on their body, which can suck in, and trap opponents and objects in a parallel dimension. At higher levels of mastery, the wielder is able to mimic the forms and abilities of those they absorb, and adopt an octopus-like form.

    • Vessel of Gluttony: The Sin Vessel of Gluttony. This awakening lets the user temporarily seal off two of their special abilities / attributes, in exchange for a massive spike in physical attributes (strength, speed, toughness, etc...).

  • Sloth: Grants the wielder enhanced physical attributes, in particular speed and endurance. At higher levels of mastery, the wielder can forcibly induce sleep to their opponents.

    • Vessel of Sloth: The Sin Vessel of Sloth. This awakening lets the user passively cast a status effect field, which causes nearby opponents to be unable to take physical action for a prolonged period of time.

  • Apathy: Grants the wielder immunity to all forms of emotional and mental manipulation. At higher levels of mastery, the wielder is able to generate massive shrieks that drain the willpower of their opponents, and manipulate fire.

    • Vessel of Apathy: The Sin Vessel of Apathy. This awakening lets the user surpass their opponent, in exactly one physical attribute which they want to surpass them in.

<Original Sin>

The Original Sin is the highest form of the Lesser Sins, a power that is unleashed from uniting all eight Lesser Sins into one. This is accomplished through a Lesser Sin wielder fusing with seven other Philosopher's Stones, which harbour the seven other Lesser Sins. Aside from being able to use the powers of all eight Lesser Sins, the Original Sin allows the wielder to draw into the magical energy of the planet they stand on, condensing it into a thin ring of light into the sky, which can then be used to generate a potent beam of light and heat sufficient enough to penetrate through a planet. It is not merely for destructive purposes, however, as more skilled users of the Original Sin are able to use this light and heat to travel back in time instead.
