🚧🔄 Update 6/30/2026 (656MB) -- I'm updated*. I've been away working on a POS replacement for work. Our POS system died (MOBO failure 5 weeks ago) and the POS individual never showed up. I finally got fed-up waiting and did it myself. Meanwhile I'm trying to keep a fledgling dove alive, while the people who know about caring for birbs, fail to show up. Also, there's a juvenile caiman in my neighborhood and I met it last night.
👹 I'm exceptionally irritated by the fact that I've contacted two entities about this fledgling dove - someone nearby who breeds birbs and our Wildlife Conservation - and neither of them seem to give enough of a shit to even respond with some fluffing advice. There were two fledglings. One has already died. What is the purpose of these people? Meanwhile in America, New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani funded the city's first ever pet-food pantry and spay/neuter services. In response, fascist, corrupt, and extremist Republicans, and fascist and wholly incompetent and corrupt Democrats, are wailing about "Sharia Law" and "Socialism". I genuinely despise all of these people. They are exactly why the world is the way it is. Is not "God", is not "Satan", and it sure as shit ain't "destiny". Is all the self-serving, selfish motherfluffers, who all claim to be better people than they demonstrably are.
🕒 I'll be back later with updates. I'm waiting for my co-worker to return to give them a crash course on the new POS software, then I'll have time to focus on mod updates.

All the best for the fledgling! 💚 Unfortunately, my experience with caring for wildlife is also limited, so I can’t give you any pointers for wild baby birbs :( I have also had my share of waiting in vain for animal rescue organisations while the animals I was desperately trying to save were dying. It’s truly a shame that there never seem to be enough resources for those who need it most, meanwhile the obscenely rich are building palaces and ballrooms and recreational spaceships for themselves. May they all be served justice by their own symbols of greed like those idiots in the subnautical Billionaire-Buster-Bubble™ 🙏🏼 P. S. I can’t help but read “POS” as “piece of 💩”, which makes your work problems sound very funny, and I’m very sorry 😸
Good luck :( I've ended up rearing several neonate kittens over the years because no shelters or vets or fosters in my region take them in. So I just... taught myself. My last time caring for young birds at all when when I was a child raising finches, so sadly no real experience to share regarding the poor fledgling. Caiman!! We have gators on our property, but half the property is swamp, so. I'm more or less living in THEIR space...
