[π¬] βSpiritual mentorβ Daniel Savala pleads guilty to sexually abusing boys in Central Texas -- KWTX News 10
[π] Christian missionary hailed as βholiest man aliveβ pleads guilty to abusing boys in Texas -- NBC News
WACO, Texas β Daniel Savala, a former missionary whose influence inside an Assemblies of God-run college ministry persisted for years despite repeated warnings about his predatory behavior, pleaded guilty Thursday to charges that he sexually abused two boys.
Appearing by video from jail, Savala, 70, entered the plea before Judge Susan Kelly, admitting to one count of continuous trafficking of persons, a felony charge for offenders who engage in a pattern of sexual exploitation involving multiple victims over time. Under a negotiated plea agreement, he was sentenced to 30 years in prison without the possibility of parole.
Savala, dressed in gray jail scrubs, showed no emotion as he entered his plea and accepted a sentence that prosecutors expect will send him to prison for the rest of his life.
βI donβt expect he will ever see the light of day again,β McLennan County District Attorney Josh Tetens said afterward. βAnd that is justice in this case.β
The plea brought closure to a criminal case that began in 2023 after revelations that leaders in the Chi Alpha campus ministry repeatedly failed to act on allegations against Savala, allowing him to continue mentoring teens and young men for years.
Last year, an NBC News investigation found that leaders in the Assemblies of God, the worldβs largest Pentecostal denomination, were warned again and again about Savalaβs history but failed to cut off his access to students in Texas β even after a 2012 child sex abuse conviction in Alaska. Instead, he remained a revered spiritual figure among pastors in Chi Alpha, who called him βPapa Danielβ and βthe holiest man aliveβ and sent scores of students to his Houston home for guidance.
Behind that image was a secretive ministry built around a backyard sauna, where Savala invoked scripture to persuade boys and young men to undress, preaching that βnudity is unityβ and blurring the line between spiritual mentoring and sexual exploitation, according to his accusers and former followers.
Savalaβs devotees included a pastor from Waco who brought his own sons, ages 11 and 12 at the time, to Savalaβs home beginning in 2021. According to court records, the boys were instructed to undress in the sauna, where Savala sexually abused them while their father was present β the conduct at the center of the charges Savala pleaded guilty to Thursday. The criminal case against the boysβ father is pending.
Savalaβs plea carried weight for a broader group of accusers and whistleblowers, some of whom attended the hearing and saw the conviction as the culmination of decades of alleged abuse and years of ignored warnings. At least eight others have accused Savala of sexually abusing them as teens or young men, according to lawsuits, signed statements and criminal filings.
One of them, Joseph Cleveland, addressed Savala in court while delivering a victim impact statement. Choking back tears, he said Savala exploited his search for fatherly wisdom as a teenager, calling his former mentor βa deceitful, evilβ predator.
βYouβre not the βholiest man alive,ββ said Cleveland, who accused Savala of grooming and sexually abusing him for a decade beginning in 2004, when he was 15. βYouβre not a βguru.β Youβre not even a man of God. Youβre a charlatan.β
Savala, whoβd made a name for himself in Pentecostal circles as a world-traveling missionary, embedded himself in Chi Alpha at Sam Houston State University, where beginning in the 1990s, pastors came to see him as a supreme spiritual authority despite his lack of formal training or credentials. As the ministry at Sam Houston grew into the largest Chi Alpha chapter in the country, his teachings β including an emphasis on unquestioned obedience to spiritual leaders β spread with it, carried by former students who went on to launch chapters across Texas and beyond.
Behind the scenes, Savalaβs accusers say, he continued to abuse students, often convincing them that the sexual acts were part of Godβs will.
Church leaders had a clear opportunity to intervene in 2012, when Savala was charged in Alaska with sexually abusing boys during his time as a youth minister in the 1990s. Instead, Chi Alpha leaders in Texas rallied to his defense, paying his bond and hiring a lawyer for him. After he pleaded guilty and served a short jail sentence, the pastors allowed him to resume mentoring students.
In the decade that followed, at least half a dozen people contacted Assemblies of God officials in Texas and at the denominationβs national headquarters in Springfield, Missouri, warning that Chi Alpha was exposing students to a convicted sex offender. These whistleblowers sent emails and made phone calls raising concerns. Again and again, they were dismissed or ignored, NBC News found.
Some of those whistleblowers later went public, led by Ron Bloomingkemper Jr., a former Chi Alpha member who said he left the ministry in the 1990s after Savala pressured him into sexual activity. In 2023, he and others launched a website and online forum that became a clearinghouse for allegations against Savala and other Chi Alpha leaders.
Bloomingkemper said Savalaβs conviction was a step toward justice, but he still wanted to see the church structure that enabled him to be held accountable.
βThis is the tip of the iceberg,β he said after the hearing. βItβs not about one man. Itβs about a system that allowed one man to basically groom and manipulate and abuse people.β
In a statement, a spokesperson for the General Council of the Assemblies of God, the churchβs U.S. governing body, said the denomination was βpleased to hear reports of Mr. Savalaβs conviction.β
βThe Assemblies of God stands in strong opposition to the teachings and practices he followed,β the statement said.
In previous statements, the General Council said Savala was never a credentialed minister and that it warned Chi Alpha leaders in 2018 to stay away from him. Five years later, after receiving βreports of sexual abuse,β the denomination said it βtook appropriate actions,β including dismissing more than a half dozen ministers with ties to Savala. The denomination has repeatedly defended its child protection policies and said it grieves for all victims of abuse.
A handful of former Chi Alpha members and a minister attended the hearing Thursday. The father of another teen who says Savala sexually abused him in 2021 also delivered a victim impact statement over video feed.
Cleveland, now 37, had spent years thinking about what he would say to Savala if he ever got the chance. From the witness stand Thursday, he said heβd come to speak on behalf of βall the men and boys you hurt.β
βTo this day, I still live with the effects of the pain you caused,β Cleveland said. βThere are nights where I canβt sleep, I often feel paranoid and have constant headaches. Those are the fruits of your labor.β
Drawing on the same faith Savala once used to influence him, Cleveland said he was choosing to offer his former mentor something he hadnβt earned: forgiveness.
βNot because you deserve it,β Cleveland said. βIf it was up to me, I wouldnβt do it. But I do know that God is better than you. God is better than the church that harbored you.β
How many people knew?
How many people turned a blind eye while this "holiest man alive" molested child after child after child, likely across the world, for years - FUCKING YEARS!
They knew.
The church knew, and they didn't do a fucking thing to stop him.
βThe Assemblies of God stands in strong opposition to the teachings and practices he followed,β the statement said.
And somehow, an organization such as this, that failed to protect the most vulnerable among us, in the worst way imaginable, REPEATEDLY, FOR FUCKING YEARS, is allowed to continue operating as usual - because "God", and money of course.
<EXHALES SHARPLY>
But hey! Chin up!
Let's talk about them gays!
'Cause homosexuality is the Reel Problemβ’, doncha know?! π€ͺ
I. Homosexual Behavior Is Sin
Historically, homosexuality often has been defined as an emotional (psychological) or organic (physiological) problem. In recent years, some have lobbied mental health organizations to have homosexuality removed from the list of classified diagnostic pathologies, and many have come to see it as nothing more than a morally neutral personal preference or a naturally occurring aspect of human biological diversity. In making moral judgments, we must remember scriptural warnings against depending on our own reasoning or even personal experience to discern truth (Proverbs 3:5β6).
A. Homosexual behavior is sin because it is disobedient to scriptural teachings.
When God called Israel to be His people in a distinctive sense, He miraculously delivered them from Egyptian bondage. But God did more. He entered into a covenant relationship with them and provided the Law, predicated on love for God and neighbor, by which they could order their lives as a holy people. That law included specific prohibitions of homosexual practice, such as that of Leviticus 18:22: βDo not have sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman; that is detestable.β Lest the previous injunction be misunderstood, Leviticus 20:13 provides a restatement, βIf a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable.β βDetestable,β used in both verses, is a strong word that indicates divine displeasure with sin.6
The Christian church has historically understood that although the ceremonial provisions of the Old Testament law were no longer in effect after the atoning death of Christ, the New Testament interpretation and restatement of its moral law continues in effect. On the subject of homosexuality, both the Old and New Testaments speak with one voice. The moral prohibitions against homosexual behavior in the Old Testament are pointedly repeated in the New Testament.
To those who witnessed on a daily basis the sexual license of imperial Rome, Paul depicted the results that followed in the lives of those who rejected God and βworshiped and served created things rather than the Creator. . . . Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations7 for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations8 with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts[9] with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their errorβ (Romans 1:25β 27). Paul is referring to both male homosexuality and lesbianism.
In Paulβs day, the city of Corinth was especially notorious for sexual immorality. It was not only a crossroads of commerce, but of all kinds of vice. Because the church was being established in this city, it was important that new Christians come to understand Godβs moral order. The record is explicit. Paul wrote, βDo you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God?β Then he continued, βDo not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral10 nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders . . . will inherit the kingdom of Godβ (1 Corinthians 6:9β10 [NIV, 1984]). In this case, Paul is understood to identify male homosexuals in both active and passive homosexual behavioral roles.11
Paul wrote, βLaw is not made for a righteous person, but for those who are lawless and rebellious, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers and immoral men and homosexualsβ12 (1 Timothy 1:9β10, NASB).13
An unbiased study of these passages makes it clear that Scripture consistently identifies homosexual behavior as sin. Not only do the Scriptures condemn more flagrant examples of homosexual violence and promiscuity, they also provide no support for the popular modern idea that loving and committed homosexual relationships between two long-term partners, even if legally married, are morally acceptable. Homosexual activities of every kind are contrary to the moral commandments God has given us.
B. Homosexual behavior is sin because it is contrary to Godβs created order for the family and human relationships.
The first chapter of the Bible says, βSo God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created themβ (Genesis 1:27). After God had created the male, He indicated it was not good for him to live alone (Genesis 2:18). So God created a companion for him (Genesis 2:18). It should be noted that the maleβs aloneness was not to be remedied by the creation of another male but by the creation of a female. God created two sexes, not just one, and each for the other.
When God brought the woman to Adam, Adam said, βThis is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called βwoman,β for she was taken out of man.β Scripture then states, βThat is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one fleshβ (Genesis 2:23β24).
In creating humankind God established the order of sexuality by which the race was to develop. Psychologically, the relationship is sound. Physically, the relationship is natural. Sociologically, it establishes the foundation for the family. The biblical order for human sexual expression is that of an intimate physical relationship to be shared exclusively within a lifelong marriage covenantβa heterosexual and monogamous relationship.
When people choose to engage in homosexual behavior, they depart from the God-given nature of sexuality. Their unnatural sexual behavior is a sin against God, who established the order of sexuality (Romans 1:27). And the social unit they seek to establish is contrary to the divine instruction for the man to leave father and mother and be βunited to his wifeβ (Genesis 2:24).
In Jesusβ discussion with the Pharisees, He reiterated the order of sexuality that God established in the beginning: βHavenβt you read... that at the beginning the Creator βmade them male and female,β and said, βFor this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one fleshβ?β (Matthew 19:4β5). He pointed out that the only alternative to heterosexual marriage is celibacy for the kingdom of heavenβs sake (Matthew 19:10β12).
C. Homosexual behavior is sin that comes under divine judgment.
The name of the ancient city of Sodom14 has become a synonym for homosexual behavior. While other evils existed in this community, sodomy was prominent. The homosexuals of Sodom were so depraved that they threatened homosexual rape of Lotβs guests. βBring them [βthe men who came to youβ] out to us so that we can have sex15 with them,β Lot was told (Genesis 19:5). The biblical record indicates that the mob became violent and tried to break down the door of Lotβs house. Only divine intervention spared Lot and his household from their evil intentions, and God subsequently destroyed both Sodom and the neighboring city of Gomorrah (Genesis 19:4β11, 24β25).
Godβs punishment of these cities was of such severity that it is used as an illustration of divine judgment by both Peter (2 Peter 2:6) and Jude (7). Judeβs commentary is particularly apt, βIn a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire.β
The Book of Judges (19:1β30) records an incident in the ancient Benjamite city of Gibeah that has many similarities to the sin of Sodom. Certain βwicked men of the cityβ (19:22) sought to force a visiting Levite male into homosexual acts16 with them. Denied their insistent requests, the attackers finally settled for vicious sexual abuse and gang rape17 of the Leviteβs concubine that resulted in her death (19:25β30). The other tribes of Israel found the crime so repugnant that when the tribe of Benjamin refused to surrender the offenders, they eventually went to warβdecimating the Benjamites (20:1β48).
These are particularly notorious examples of homosexual expression that undoubtedly most homosexual persons today would repudiate. It should be understood that while expressing abhorrence at such rapacious perversion, the biblical writers do not imply that heterosexuals are not capable of sexual atrocities nor that most homosexuals are as depraved as the residents of those ancient cities. Nor should modern Christians draw those implications. It is important to note, however, that wherever homosexuality occurs in the biblical record it is an occasion of scandal and judgment. Homosexuality is never viewed in a positive light.
The biblical writers make it clear that practicing homosexuals, along with sexually immoral heterosexuals and all other unrepentant sinners, will not inherit the kingdom of God (1 Corinthians 6:9β10). Paul also described homosexual conduct as one evidence of Godβs judgment for humankindβs corporate rebellion against Him (Romans 1:26β27). Jesus himself was explicit that at the end of the age βthe Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will weed out of his kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. They will throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teethβ (Matthew 13:40β42).
II. Homosexual Behavior Is Sin for Which Reconciliation Is Possible
While Scripture makes it clear homosexual behavior is sin and comes under the judgment of God, it also indicates that those who are guilty of homosexual behavior or any other sin can be reconciled to God (2 Corinthians 5:17β21).
In the church at Corinth were former homosexuals who had been delivered from the power of sin by the grace of God. In 1 Corinthians 6:9, Paul listed homosexuals along with immoral heterosexuals as those who cannot inherit the kingdom of God. His grammar implies continuing sexually immoral activity until their conversion.
Verse 11 follows with a powerful contrast, βAnd that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.β They had been homosexuals in orientation and behavior, but now the power of Godβs Spirit had radically transformed their lives, and the lives of their fellow heterosexual sinners.
Scripture makes clear that the efficacy of the death and resurrection of Christ is unlimited for those who accept it. There is no sin, sexual or otherwise, that cannot be cleansed. John the Baptist announced, βLook, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!β (John 1:29).
The apostle Paul wrote, βGod made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of Godβ (2 Corinthians 5:21).
The apostle John wrote, βIf we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousnessβ (1 John 1:9).
Through the regenerating power of the Holy Spirit, people, regardless of the nature of their sin, can be made new creations in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:17). Godβs plan of salvation is the same for all. The practicing homosexual who wants to be delivered from the penalty and power of sin must come to God in the same way all heterosexual sinners must come to God, in the same way all who are now His children have come for deliverance from their sins.
The act of turning to God for salvation includes both repentance and faith. Jesus is both Savior and Lord. He is the one who forgives our sin as we believe in Him and repent. Repentance represents a change of mind in which there is a turning from sin in both attitude and behavior.
Jesus is also the One whose lordship we affirm in holy living. βIt is Godβs will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality; that each of you should learn to control your own body in a way that is holy and honorable, not in passionate lust like the pagans, who do not know Godβ (1 Thessalonians 4:3β5).
Like the Philippian jailer who asked what he had to do to be saved, those desiring salvation must believe in the Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 16:30β31)βbelieve that He can save from the power as well as the penalty of sin. Obedient faith, like repentance, is a condition of salvation.
III. Resultant Affirmations
In view of the clear biblical teachings on homosexuality and the application of these teachings to contemporary sexual practices, the Assemblies of God Fellowship makes the following affirmations:
A. With Regard to Same-Sex Marriage
The Assemblies of God defines marriage as the permanent, exclusive, comprehensive, and conjugal βone fleshβ union of one man and one woman, intrinsically ordered to procreation and biological family, and in furtherance of the moral, spiritual, and public good of binding father, mother, and child. (Genesis 1:27β28; 2:18β24; Matthew 19:4β9; Mark 10:5β9; Ephesians 5:31β33).
B. With Regard to Sexual Immorality
The Assemblies of God believes that sexual acts outside of marriage are prohibited as sinful. Sexual acts outside of marriage include but are not limited to adultery, fornication, incest, bestiality, pornography, prostitution, voyeurism, pedophilia, exhibitionism, sodomy, polygamy, polyamory, or same-sex sexual acts. (Exodus 20:14; Leviticus 18:7β23; 20:10β21; Deuteronomy 5:18; Matthew 5:27β28; 15:19; Romans 1:26β27; 1 Corinthians 6:9β13; Galatians 5:19; Ephesians 4:17β19; Colossians 3:5; 1 Thessalonians 4:3; Hebrews 13:4).
C. With Regard to Sexual Identity
The Assemblies of God believes that God created humankind in His image: male (man) and female (woman), sexually different but with equal personal dignity. The Fellowship supports the dignity of individual persons affirming their biological sex and discouraging any and all attempts to physically change, alter, or disagree with their predominant biological sexβincluding but not limited to elective sex-reassignment, transvestite, transgender, or nonbinary βgenderqueerβ acts or conduct. (Genesis 1:26β28; Romans 1:26β32; 1 Corinthians 6:9β11).
D. With Regard to Sexual Orientation
The Assemblies of God affirms the sexual complementarity of man and woman and teaches that any and all same-sex sexual attractions are to be resisted. Consequently, believers are to refrain from any and all same-sex sexual acts or conduct, which are intrinsically disordered. (Genesis 1:27; 2:24; Matthew 19:4β6; Mark 10:5β9; Romans 1:26β27; 1 Corinthians 6:9β11).

Being gay or lesbian or transgender or gender-noncomforming doesn't make a person attracted to children.
Being attracted to children, makes a person attracted to children.
Maybe if religious folks pulled their heads out of their arses where LGBTQIA+ folks are concerned, they'd untangle their nonsensical logic and maybe, actually, give a shit about protecting children from predators.

Is it tiring? Imagine how I feel.
You've only gotten like under one year of me shoving this filth in your face.
I've been wading through it for somewhere between seven to ten or more years - year in, year out, like fucking clockwork.

Don't miss the Democrat near the end, and the Disney Cruise ship that ICE raided in a child porn operation.
If only ICE was out there focusing more on shit like international child sex trafficking rings instead of rounding up brown kids at bus stops and executing American protestors in the streets.
I suppose it's fine to investigate Disney, but not Jeffrey Epstein, right, Donald?
F.Y.I. This isn't the first time ICE was involved in a child sex trafficking operation that led to arrests. I distinctly remember reading a report some time ago about some Trinidadians being arrested in America by ICE for being involved in a child sex trafficking ring.
ICE, as an organization, needs to be abolished, but we need more law enforcement agencies dedicated to catching predators and protecting children from predators, and we cannot allow rich people to get away with it, because they are the ones funding and facilitating it!

[π] France's 'political violence has risen significantly, with assaults doubling over the past 10 years'.
In the new database we compiled for the 2017-2026 period, we observed an overall increase in the number of acts of political violence, especially since the 2022 presidential election campaign. We have already recorded 2,300 acts of violence in less than 10 years, compared to 5,500 during the first period we worked on, which covered the 30 years beforehand, from 1986 to 2017.
During the first period, there were regular violent clashes between political groups, but they mostly entailed confrontations between the far right and the far left. The numbers we have seen today are on a whole other scale entirely. Over the past 10 years, political violence has risen significantly, with the number of assaults doubling and clashes increasing fivefold. In addition, the attacks have become more severe: Since 2022, six people have already died, all at the hands of radical right-wing activists. By comparison, from 1986 to 2017, there were 57 deaths linked to violent acts committed between political groups β 52 caused by the radical right and five by the radical left.

Tis a pity that for all the years that right-wing extremists were killing people, no one bothered to "dismantle and crush them", so that we wouldn't be here today, still dealing with the same lies and fearmongering and hateful rhetoric and bigotry that fuels all of this violence.
To quote myself:
The difference between America right now and Nazi Germany - and I can't remember enough of my research into Nazi Germany right now, so it may not be different at all - is that Donald Trump and his supporters, which includes a fair number of so-called Christians, intend to terrorize everyone they don't like (with the law) until one of those people snaps and tosses the first stone, because they are desperate to label themselves as the victims, so that they can justify the actions they want to take.
This isn't new. They've been inciting violence for years, upon years, which is why "free speech" has been twisted and warped over the past few years to include "freedom for hate speech" and "freedom to openly discriminate", and to exclude "the freedom to call out folks for being bigoted pieces of shit".
Violence is inevitable.
[π] Political violence on the rise: Left wing attacks outnumber those from the right for first time in decades -- The Independent
Violence is what they want, because violence allows them to position themselves as the victims, and extend that victim-hood to their "gods", which allows them to justify doing anything in defense of those "gods", the same way they pay off politicians to "defend the sanctity of confession" in the face of child rape.
For years we have watched right-wing extremist groups antagonize and terrorize and kill people, and then whine about their "God-given rights" being infringed upon.
They advocate for hate speech and bullying and the freedom to discriminate based on their religious beliefs, while whining about "PoLiTiCaL CoRrEcTnEsS", but if someone else bullies them, they then turn around and whine about religious persecution - because they're Christian (and Catholic, and every other denomination), and being Christian (etc.) makes them right and justified and morally correct in everything they do, because "God", so of course they're the real victims, and "leftists" have always been the violent aggressors, because how dare we say that women, or gays, or transgender people are equal to "God's chosen people", when the holy book says otherwise?
They are now the government and they're - I did quote myself, right? - using "the law" to antagonize, and terrorize, and strip people of their basic human rights, so that they can criminalize their existence, so that they can inflict violence upon them, knowing full well that not everyone is going to sit back and watch it happen, but also knowing full well that a vast number of people will continue to be passive and delude themselves into thinking "it'll get better", while they sit back and watch people get executed in the street.
Despite all the shit right-wing extremists say, left-wing policies do not incite violence or inflict bodily harm against them. However, we cannot say the same about right-wing policies, when the goal of so many of them is to deny people healthcare and rights and basic protections under the law, etc., etc., and to dehumanize and demonize immigrants while also destabilizing the countries they came from:
[π¬] Protesters Are Trump's Next Target -- Leeja Miller

We keep on playing this fucking game...
Over in America, they keep thinking the mid-terms will save them.
That they'll rein in Donald Trump and the religious extremists behind him.
It's absurd and comical, but I hope they're right, and that I'm made to eat my words, because the alternative is a right-wing extremist hell-scape.
But even if they manage to do it, what are they gonna do about the ideology and the lies and the violence that got us here - that has spread across the world?
'Cause I dunno if y'all realized, but all the shit we been doing for the last [X] amount of years, clearly wasn't enough to prevent us from reaching right back here, now was it?!
Here in Trinidad, one of our politicians who has never been held accountable for any of the corruption he's "allegedly" been involved in, once said the following:
I increased the price of fuel by 15%.
I then realized it was not enough.
I came back again in April and raised it again by 15%, and I came back again just a few weeks ago and raised it by another 15%.
They haven't rioted yet.
[LAUGHS]
So I might raise it by another 15% in April of next year.
Which brings us to the politicians that we on "the left" empower, who go on to pave the way for fascism and religious extremism, like these motherfuckers:
[π¬] Keir Starmer Is Finally FINISHED -- Owen Jones
[π¬] Starmer Was FINISHED - But MPs Messed It Up -- Owen Jones
[π¬] Mark Carney Shows Us His True Colours -- The Rational National
[π¬] The Far-Right Could Win France Soon -- Alice Cappelle
Carney and Starmer ran under "leftist" banners, and now that they're in office, they're pushing bullshit not-leftist agendas - Carney wants privatization and is allegedly compromising healthcare, while Starmer is an anti-trans bigoted piece of shit, who seems to have a hard-on for enabling child rapists.
These "bullshit agendas" will be labeled as "the true face of leftist politics" by right-wing extremists, and next time around, it's highly likely that right-wing extremists will win, then... queue the fuckery.
The way we do government needs to change.
If an elected official does the opposite of what they said they'd do on the campaign trail, we need a way to get them out of office immediately, not two years on during mid-terms, not four to five years on during the next general election, we need to be able to do it immediately, because the longer they stay in power, is the more damage they do, not only to people and their lives, but also to the platforms they claim to represent.
As "progressive leftists", we claim to want to do all the good things that will totes help everyone, then we empower men like Carney and Starmer, and they turn around and pave the way for right-wing extremism with their billionaire-serving, child-rape serving, bullshit.
Corrupt, bigoted, spineless, and ineffective "left-wing" politicians keep paving the way for fascism and religious extremism.
It's not about "leftists fell for it again", because everyone fucking falls for it - except for the people who watch Donald Trump and all the corruption, and vanity projects, and the rising cost of gas and groceries, and RFK Jr. and his anti-vaccine bullshit, and the bigoted policies against women, LGBTQIA+ people, and every other color but white folks (and only those white folks who kiss his arse - 'cause Alex Pretti and Renee Goode were both white and they were fucking executed in the street), and say "this is exactly what I voted for".
I'm not American, but I don't look at Biden's failure to rein in Israel or fast-track the release of the Epstein Files, and say "this is exactly what I didn't voted for".
And I don't look at Obama's failure to bail out the homeowners who lost everything, or his policies aimed at Venezuela, that were not for the wellbeing of Venezuelans, but to cripple Venezuela's oil industry because it was a threat to America's dominance, and say "this is exactly what I didn't voted for".
I look at those things and say "this is why we are here now, because they failed to do the things they were supposed to do".
Corrupt, bigoted, spineless, and ineffective - in the pockets of billionaires and the totes not child-raping elites.
Which brings us to the billionaires and the totes not child-raping elites:
[π] Number of billionaires globally could reach 4,000 [from 3,110] in next five years -- The Guardian
The number of billionaires in the world could reach nearly 4,000 by 2031, figures suggest, as the super-rich accumulate wealth at an accelerating rate.
[...]
The multimillionaire class is also expanding rapidly, with the number of people worth at least $30m (Β£22m) around the world rising from 162,191 in 2021 to 713,626 today β an increase of more than 300%, Knight Frank found.
[...]
The number of billionaires is expected to grow the fastest in oil-rich Saudi Arabia, the research found, more than doubling from 23 in 2026 to a forecast of 65 in 2031. The billionaire population in Poland is also expected to more than double from 13 to 29 over the same period, with an 81% rise in Sweden, from 32 to 58.
It comes as the gap between the worldβs richest and poorest continues to grow. Last year the World Inequality report found fewer than 60,000 people β 0.001% of the worldβs population β control three times as much wealth as the entire bottom half of humanity.
But hey, they promise they'll take care of us - they, them, the same bunch of motherfuckers who layoff people by the thousands, who create agencies with the sole purpose of busting unions, who fund organizations with the sole purpose of stripping people of rights, who advocate for policies that would allow them to fire anyone at any time for any reason, who create their own little "countries" where they can escape the laws that would hold them accountable for their actions.
They promise they'll look after you and your children and your children's children, with the same "trickle down" bullshit that ain't been working since the days of Ronald Reagan, because it's really just a scheme to make the rich richer:

"Left-wing", "right-wing", y'know, I Want To Believeβ’ that those among us who aren't extremist lunatics, all want the same fucking thing - a future for our children where they're not at risk of starving to death, or being raped or butchered at school, or being drafted into wars at the behest of extremists and billionaires.
But what the fuck do I know, right?

Recently, Jessie Gender released the following video:
[π¬] "Anti-Fascism" is the Leftism of Fools -- Jessie Gender
Now, it's possible that some of this has gone over my head, but I've looked up what "centralized authority" means, and it's pretty much what I assumed it meant while watching the video.
So, in the video, Jessie argues that the pursuit of "centralized authority" could lead us to authoritarian fascism, and she highlights Lenin and the Russian Revolution that was supposed to hand the country over to "the people", but eventually led to the rise of Joseph Stalin - a cautionary tale for every leftist, lest we "live long enough to see ourselves become the vi- are you fucking kidding me?!
In it, Jessie argues that the goal should be "decentralized community power", and I'm sitting here scratching my head, watching the rise of right-wing extremism all over the world, and wondering how the fuck are we meant to accomplish "decentralized community power" in the face of a "centralized authority" that is not going to just give up its newfound power.
In it, Jessie says that the goal should be trying to meet people where they are and showing them that we can totes do things A Better Wayβ’, while acknowledging that this isn't going to work with everyone. Jessie goes on to say, and I quote:
The point is to build coalitions and structures that materially support and organize both with and for the most marginalized people in your community.
I support building coalitions and whatnot, however, ain't that what we've been doing this whole time, and didn't we just watch a fascist bigot strip it all away?
The goal should be governance, no?
Because no matter how much you "coalition for the community", if your federal government is run by a fascist bigot, there ain't nothing gonna save you when they decide to come for you.
We can talk all day long about A Better Wayβ’, but if we never produce anything tangible (because we're stuck on the defensive trying to protect each other), then it's not going to matter!
Utopia is currently unattainable.
We need a first step, and then we need to dig our heels in and do as much as we can, not only for the marginalized, but also for the misguided and the brainwashed.
The point is to get in there and do the good shit for everyone!
That first step is taking the power that men like Donald Trump currently have, and doing some fucking good with it, not trembling in fear that we might turn into the monsters we're fighting!
Isn't that the whole point of checks and balances, and, oh, I dunno, empowering a coalition of like-minded people to keep each other in check.
Goodness gracious me!
What the fuck?!
Has "the left" resigned to never having real progressive and humanist leftist representation in governance?

Recently, allegedly (because I haven't verified it), Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez made a comment concerning whether or not she'd be pursuing... <SOME POSITION> or running for president.
Her response was, allegedly and I'm paraphrasing, that presidents have term limits and her goal is to change the world. Huzzah! π
YUH STILL KINDA NEED THE FUCKIN' PRESIDENCY AND THE SENATE/CONGRESS TO GET ANYTHING DONE, DUMBARSE!
Nah! We gon' grassroots!
And when they come for us, we gon' protest!
We gon' protest from now til they make us dig our own graves and then bury us in it.
"Lest we live long enough to see ourselves become the villains!"
Are "leftists" living in reality - the reality that there's a framework in place, and unless we intend to dismantle that framework (which no one seems to have the spine to do, regardless how horrible shit gets), we kinda need to own the framework in order to get anything done.
Yes? No? Maybe?
I've noticed that a fair number of leftists seem to believe that we have unlimited time to get this right, but I'm not one of them.
"Decentralized community power" just sounds like "state rights" to me, and that's "state rights" in a time when billionaires keep buying off politicians, and fascism, religious extremism, and bigotry are on the rise (again).
How the fuck does "decentralized community power" help anyone right now - not five years from now, not ten years from now, not fifty years from now, now as in now, as in tomorrow, as in next week, as in next year.
People don't need a fucking road map, they need action and tangible results!

The kid next door to me has cancer.
He's just a wee little boy.
He has to go all the way to India for an operation, because the healthcare in Trinidad (my country) is a fucking waste of time.

Point is, please don't be as fucking maliciously ignorant as Nick Cannon.
Nick Cannon would have you believe that the Republican Party that exists today, is the same as the one that was formed by people who wanted to end slavery back in the days of Abraham Lincoln.
Nick Cannon would have you believe this in the face of the obvious and blatant erasure and whitewashing of history by elected U.S. President Donald Trump and the current Republican Party, and their obvious and blatant idolization of all things Nazi and Confederate.
Please, do not be as maliciously ignorant as Nick Cannon.
And do not give such malicious ignorance a Free Passβ’.

[π¬] Liberalism Won't Admit What it Actually Stands For -- Jessie Gender
This entry is continued from the "update notification" post [π] for tomorrow's update.
Yes, I know I haven't finished those other entries directly below. No, I'm not trying to sidestep my response to The Amazing Lucas and his ig'nant (I'm paraphrasing) "I have a penis and I have never felt like anything other than a masculine male man, so it must be the same for errbady else, and anyone different is a weird freak!" mask off moment. I just need a bit more energy for that bullshit than I currently have.
Also, I would like to reach out to a few transgender people who talk about transgender issues, and ask them to read whatever I post after I post it. I want to be sure that my layman's response is factually correct, because:
I don't study neuroscience or gender dysphoria.
I wasn't born intersex.
I'm not transgender.
The things I say need to be based in reality and facts. I'm not here to spread misinformation or disinformation.
I TIGRESS! π―
Also, I'm supposed to have one day off every week (preferably not Friday, Saturday, or Sunday) so I'll see if I can get tomorrow off.
In the future, I can try to take my weekly day off either on patch day or the day after patch day, so that we can get all the critical updates done lickety-split, so either I start paying attention to whatever source pre-notifies us about impending doo- uh, "official updates", or we make it a thing where one of y'all notifies me in the comments on the "Announcements" post [π].
The issue is that they are everywhere and in control of almost everything, and they're getting more blatant with their actions with every day that passes that there's no consequences for those actions.
Current U.S. President Donald Trump made the recent release of Epstein Files all about him and "the lack of evidence proving he's a child predator" in the "totes fake" (as he refers to them) and heavily redacted files that his own Department of Justice has already started retracting... instead of, y'know, investigating all parties involved.
They know who are involved, and instead of launching investigations into all of these people in an effort to protect children, they're choosing to play "ideology" and "culture war" games, because doing so gives them power and influence and wealth.
Everything else - the whole "protect the children" shtick - is just smoke and mirrors to get us to enable and empower them, which is why they try to paint the mere concept of being LGBTQIA+, as a danger to children, instead of talking about actual predators.
You see, children do be needing protecting from predators, but "God" forbid we "protect them" from the predators who have the power and influence and wealth to further our own ideological agendas! We'll never own the libs that way!
That was satire.
"It's time for America to move on" were his fucking words.
Move on and stop talking about the international ring of rich and powerful child predators who are trafficking and abusing (and allegedly eating) young people and children!
Instead, let's talk about Satanic cults eating children in pizzeria basements and get each other all riled up, while we turn a blind eye to the elites and religious organizations!
That was also satire.
Also, stop whining about the fact that we successfully redacted the names of perpetrators, but failed to redact the names of the victims/survivors, who are all likely going to start getting death threats from totes not our own supporters, and who may or may not (totes not suspiciously) start jumping out of buildings to their deaths in the next few months/years.
That was also satire.
This shit right here is why victims/survivors of sexual assault often shut up and stay silent.
It's sometimes for their own fucking safety, because we live in a world that enables and empowers predators, but "God" forbid the people who ask "why did she take so long to report it?!" get this through their thick fuckin' heads!
Have you read "An Unbelievable Story of Rape" [π] or watched the miniseries [π] based on it?
I listen to men and women harp on about false reports as though every single rape report is a false accusation. I can acknowledge that false reports happen and that it can destroy lives, but rape also happens, and it also destroys lives.
Am I to believe that we are too fucking dense as a species to figure this shit out?
Really?
The issue isn't that I (or people like me) can't switch off.
The issue is that so many other people can and do switch off.
And in switching off, they inadvertently allow the very real monsters who we all should fear, to be empowered.
And in switching off, they inadvertently allow the very people empowering those monsters, to now make excuses for child predators, by harping on about ages of consent and whether or not a 15 year-old is really a "child", and how 18 year-olds are adults and couldn't possibly be trafficked or forced into situations they don't want to be in, etc., etc., et cetera, all because it involves people they idolize.

This is the level of malicious ignorance and delusion and the downright lack of intelligence of the people vying for control, and they are the very same people who are being empowered on the grounds of passing "common sense" laws.
Behind the anti-trans bullshit, this is the shit they're doing.
Is it "common sense" to you that rape can't possibly result in pregnancy, 'cause elected representatives be out here believing that shit!
Is the DarkMatter2525 video the one that points out that Hitler and the Nazis pulled the exact same anti-trans bullshit back in their day and called it "common sense" too?
Wait, no, it's the following video from Jessie Gender:
[π¬] Liberalism Won't Admit What it Actually Stands For
The bit starts at 57:52 [π¬], though you should watch the full video.
Does that now mean that Hitler was "common sense", or does it just mean that fascists court and coddle religion because religion is easily weaponized due to how fucking bigoted their holy books are? Take your pick.
Nowadays there be people out here idolizing Hitler who didn't idolize him before.
They don't care about how many people he butchered or that he would have butchered them too, they only care that he hated transgender people just like they do (and also because Israel is currently doing a genocide against Palestinians), so he must have been one of the good 'uns, "fighting the good fight against evil" and "owning da libs", etc., etc., et cetera.
So quickly they go from distancing themselves from Hitler to embracing him ποΈ with arms wide open, all because he shared their bigoted views against transgender people!
The following is a transcript of a politician from a clip featured in the DarkMatter2525 video:
I've listened to my colleagues in this Epstein debate on the Republican side ask over and over, why did the Democrats say nothing during the Biden administration?
I've heard TV anchors ask.
In fact, I was asked this morning the same question.
Now, put aside the fact that in 2019, I called on Andrew Aosta to resign because of his connection to the Epstein files and I wanted to learn more about why Epstein was not prosecuted.
Put aside what Mr. Raskin and Mr. Cummings did.
Let's just take you at your word that Democrats said nothing.
Is that a reason for you to do nothing?
I don't understand the logic here that because you think the Democrats did nothing on the Epstein files in the Biden administration, that to "own the libs", you now have license to leave sexual assault victims unprotected.
It's just crazy that you hate the Democrats so much that you would let the most notorious child sex trafficker and the people connected to him not be held accountable because you want to "own the libs".
Let's just take you at your word. Okay?
The Democrats did nothing, so you're going to do nothing, is what you're telling me?
It's easy to be as angry as I am and this easily triggered as I am over these things, because these things that I choose to talk about here - that have been happening in front of our faces to varying degrees for a very long time - are vile, degenerate, and outright evil.
P.S. Pro-status quo "establishment" Democrats can go fuck themselves, along with "Green Party" candidates who show up once every four years to talk some shit and give people the opportunity to "feel better" about not voting Democrat or Republican.
The problem ain't just Republicans or "conservatives" or religious folks...
And yes, I know I generalize, but if you're one of the good 'uns, you should be able to remove yourself from the equation and see your peers as they are, just like I can acknowledge that some "leftists" are vile and degenerate arsehats.
The problem is everyone who bends and buckles and breaks on topics and issues that they should plant their fucking feet in the sand for and have some fucking integrity about.
In other words, actually give a shit about protecting children, no matter who the perpetrators are. This isn't rocket science, but I think I've highlighted enough vile and degenerate shit in this post for you to understand why the world doesn't actually work that way.
Fucking hell...
Also, why the fuck is EAxis still posting on Elon's Nazi Deepfake AI Child-Undressing Paradise?
Are there no other fucking options?
Hmmm?
No?
Okay.
β// β 1/15/2026 - THIS UN'S FROM THE TICKER:
The entry title is a "Mods For All" joke. If you know, you know. If you don't, then I had a field day with JayESims some months ago for some bullshit he pulled under the moniker "Mods For All". The incident concluded (for me) with him fully editing and/or deleting the offending posts, and then pretending to not know what anyone was complaining about.
That shit don't happen here, as evident by the fact that this post ain't never been butchered, and it keeps getting bumped every few days to the top of the queue, because bad shit keeps happening.
I digress.
In this entry I intend to defend transgender folks from the malicious ig'nance on display by one of my "favorite" commentators on YouTube (whose videos are highlighted in the playlist for this post), while also criticizing some of the nonsense we do on this side of "the isle" that only serves to undermine our fight for equal rights and protections under the law.
It's currently about (7x) the length of that, and I ain't done yet.

This will include reports from 12/31/2025 to 1/14/2026 because I'd like to include Keith Porter's killing by an off-duty ICE agent in it. I might push it back to around Christmas, just to give you a better idea of how quickly everything is escalating.
I'll expand this section more later, and I also want to remind everyone about something important in the "THOUGHTS" entry for 1/14/2026, below.
π This post is a mess. I need to restructure it. I won't be removing anything, but I would like to maybe merge some sections and remove any instances of duplicate information like what was in the "I'M JUST MUSING" (formerly "TBC...?") section. I'd also like to put all the "me" stuff into its own section. I'll figure it out. You're welcome to screenshot this post to verify I'm not butchering any of the oh so controversial and totes offensive things I've said.
π¨ There is a coordinated effort between the Trump Administration and "right-wing" groups to doxx and persecute/penalize anyone (including non-US citizens) who does anything other than praise Charlie Kirk on social media. The First Amendment will not protect you. This is the situation escalating because the evidence cannot yet incriminate "the left", despite the rhetoric. β‘ I removed the "vigilante" descriptor. This has nothing to do with justice.
π¨ There have been numerous calls for violence over the assassination of a "right-wing", anti-abortion, anti-trans, anti-feminism, pro-gun death influencer in America. It doesn't matter where you live, fascism is everywhere, and fascism breeds violence.
π¨ BE ESPECIALLY CAREFUL if you're a member of a marginalized group.
π¨ BE ESPECIALLY CAREFUL if you're an out LGBTQIA+ person.
β οΈ You may not agree with everything I say in this post, you might take some of it personally, you might even get offended, but I implore you to read through all of it, because we need to start living in reality, and not whatever the fuck these fascists have been fabricating. The world is spiraling out of control whether or not we want to acknowledge it, and we need to stop it. Are we going to wait until people are being dragged out of their homes and executed like dogs in the street before we acknowledge that we have allowed this shit to go on for far too long? That's a legitimate question.
π¬ Since I've left the comments open for this, I want to state plainly that you are welcome to criticize or correct me. π€ My hard-line stance on religious organizations (and by extension my criticism of religious folks) would have come up eventually. We... scratch that - I, can't discuss heavy topics like child abuse and LGBTQIA+ rights without addressing the elephant in the room (because it insists on pretending it's a saint while demonizing everyone else). Some folks choose to, but I can't. This is me. This has been me to varying degrees for over (10) years. I used to be nicer about it, then I watched America rally behind a sex offender who enables sex offenders, I watched men (and women) mock victims of abuse, and then I watched them tear down women's rights while invoking God. Some folks might be able to ignore it, but I can't. P.S. Had the President of the United States of America and his compatriots not immediately start pointing fingers and making incendiary remarks following the murder of Charlie Kirk, this post wouldn't exist - at least not in this form, and maybe not so "offensive".
β// β EVIDENCE OVER RHETORIC:
We finally have some solid information.
Keep in mind that all of this only matters in the context of "justice for Charlie Kirk" - because he was murdered. You still need to be careful because it don't matter which way this goes, the rhetoric ain't gonna stop, because the rhetoric didn't start with this. We can hope, but also, be realistic - facts don't fuckin' matter to some folks, especially the fascists with the loudest microphones.
[π] The authorities have released the alleged transcript of the the chat between the suspect and his roommate/partner.
I'm not gonna copypaste it. You can read it from the linked article.
I will say though, that with the way "THEY ARE FOAMING AT THE MOUTH" for us to attack each other, there must be more than this, right? If there isn't, do you think anyone's gonna get reprimanded for calling for retribution and war? Scroll down to the "FOAMING" section and re-read those statements, most of which were made before they even had a suspect. Go on. Have fun.
B.T.W. I want to point out that the FBI, under Kash Patel, read this exchange, and somehow allowed the media to run with the story that this was the suspect planning the attack with his roommate. Was that simply FUCKING INCOMPETENCE or was that THE FASCISTS TRYING TO INCITE VIOLENCE? If we're going with the former, then Kash Patel needs to be fired.
Turns out I'm not the only one who finds the chat unnatural. "Thy hideth thy grandfatherβs rifle in the shrubbery. Thy hopeth they doth not findeth." πΉ

β// β DEALS WITH THE DEVIL:
While the fascists continue to blame "the left" and transgender people, we have had more than one popular "right-wing" personality saying that we need to take a closer look at Israel and the alleged threats Charlie Kirk was receiving from pro-Israel sources.
Apparently Benjamin Netanyahu lied about something concerning Kirk following his murder.
Do you understand why all those calls for mass violence haven't materialized into mass violence?
None of the "right-wing" folks saying any of this shit have any love for "the left", but they had love for Charlie Kirk - some of them were his friends - and they want answers. Do you think President Donald Trump and the Republican Party will open an investigation?

[π] Secular Talk -- The Charlie Kirk Case Just Got Way Weirder
This video starts off talking about the weirdness of that chat transcript that the FBI released, then covers two more articles. [π] Reese Waters (2:57) -- Maga Media Destroy Charlie Kirk Investigation
I'm giving you this video as-is with a timestamp that you can skip to, but you should watch the whole thing, because besides the Steve Bannon and Candace Owens clips, you also have Kash Patel making a complete fool of himself in front of Congress, and also, while the Kirk murder has taken over the media, Republicans once again voted to enable predators, rapists, and child traffickers - we just gon' call it what it is from now on [π]. In case you don't know who Steve Bannon is, I dunno what to tell ya [π], that isn't already obvious. These are the people pointing at the FBI investigation and saying it ain't adding up.
[π] Reese Waters -- Charlie Kirk Allegations Getting Worse For Benjamin Netanyahu
Meanwhile, an AI-generated video of Kirk is making the rounds in churches [π]. Were his own words too "controversial"? Here's what he thought about AI [π]. Do you suppose he'd like the idea of church leaders sharing an AI-generated video of him, making him say things he obviously didn't say?

β// β THEY ARE FOAMING AT THE MOUTH:
... at the thought of butchering any and everyone who doesn't share their worldview, and they will stop at nothing to incite violence.
Charlie Kirk's alleged shooter has been arrested. He is not transgender.
He's other things too, but I'm not up-to-date on everything so I'd prefer not to "allege" further.
This is the state of "right-wing" media right now [π]. Every quoted statement below was made publicly, and at least one of them was made on FOX NEWS for the whole world to hear:
Elon Musk -- "The Left is the party of murder."
Laura Loomer -- "The Left is a national security threat. [...] More people will be murdered if the Left isnβt crushed with the power of the state."
President Donald Trump -- "Radical left political violence [is to blame]."
Katie Miller -- "[Liberals] have blood on your hands."
Nancy Mace -- "Democrats own what happened today."
Sean Davis -- "I hope that Trump also orders the extermination of the entire anarcho-terrorist network that has been terrorizing Christians in this nation unabated for more than a decade. [...] When Democrats lose elections they couldnβt steal, they murder the people they were unable to defeat."
Jesse Watters -- "Whether we want to accept it or not, they are at war with us. And what are we going to do about it? How much political violence are we going to tolerate?"
Andrew Tate -- "Civil war."
Kristan Hawkins -- "This is a new civil war. One that we must fight with love to restore a Culture of Life."
Chaya Raichik -- "THIS IS WAR."
Darryl Cooper -- "Fascism is just the word used by freaks and degenerates when normal people realize that the Left wonβt stop unless itβs forced to."
Pastor Joel Webbon -- "The Left will not stop until they are forced to. The Right must gain power, keep power, and wield power righteously. @realDonaldTrump, you have been appointed by Providence. You are commanded by Scripture to be a TERROR to those who do evil. Give them hell."
Christian Nationalist William Wolfe -- "The. Left. Must. Be. Destroyed. [...] The Democrats and the Left must be crushed. The goal for Republicans in the next ten years shouldnβt just be to win elections, but to destroy the Democrat Party entirely and salt the earth underneath it."
Christopher Rufo -- "The last time the radical Left orchestrated a wave of violence and terror, J. Edgar Hoover shut it all down within a few years, [...] It is time, within the confines of the law, to infiltrate, disrupt, arrest, and incarcerate all of those who are responsible for this chaos."
Ryan Fournier -- "Congratulations, you have now made a radical out of me. You fuckers deserve it."
[π] Erika Kirk -- "If you thought my husband's mission was powerful before, you have no idea. You have no idea what you just have unleashed across this entire country, and this world."
[π] Matt Walsh -- "The entire Right has to band together. Enough of this in-fighting bullshit. We are up against demonic forces from the pit of Hell. Theyβre killing us in our churches. They tried to kill our president. They killed Charlie, one of our greatest advocates. Put the personal squabbles aside. Nowβs not the time. This is existential. A fight for our own existence and the existence of our country."
The first suspect who tried to "kill our president" was a Republican, the second voted both Republican and Democrat (IIRC), cis-gender perpetrators have attacked churches in America, and the memes are allegedly "right-wing", and just this year Kirk was criticizing Trump's push to penalize people for their Free Speech.
[MIGRATED] I moved the bit I was gonna type here, to the "TBC..." section.
Shirley there have been a some calls for civility from the "right-wing", right?
[π] Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett -- "I think it is a sign of a culture that has β where political discourse has soured beyond control and something that we need to really pull back, [...] I mean, obviously, well, I assume that the person who murdered Charlie Kirk was mentally ill, but nonetheless, you know, to create a culture in which political discourse can lead to political violence is unacceptable in the United States,"
I'll accept it.
Tis a pity she didn't feel the need to point out any of the statements made above. Tis a pity that Justice Amy Coney Barrett isn't, in this instance - and this instance only, the President of the United States of America.
β// β REWIND TO JUNE 2025:
"Democratic State Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband Mark were killed along with their dog, and State Sen. John Hoffman, a Democrat, and his wife, Yvette, were shot and wounded."
By an anti-abortion lunatic.
He had a list of Democrats he intended to murder.
If I remember correctly, one Republican Senator publicly mocked their deaths on social media [π].
We are not politicians (I assume - I'm not).
We are not influencers with millions upon millions of adoring followers who hang on our every word as though it's Gospel.
We do not enact laws.
So when we say shit on the internet, it holds no weight when compared to an elected official opening their stink fuckin' mouth to shit-talk their murdered colleagues.
Donald Trump has condemned political attacks following the murder of Charlie Kirk, but apparently forgot to mention Democrats, because the goal is to paint "the left" as violent lunatics, and paint "the right" as saints.
While President Donald Trump has called for an end to political violence following the assassination of Charlie Kirk, he did not recognize or acknowledge the recent threats, violent attacks and killings of Democrats.
During his remarks Wednesday night, hours after Kirk, a conservative influencer who worked closely with Trump and his family, was killed, Trump posted a video condemning the shooting and other political violence and brought up some recent examples.
"From the attack on my life in Butler Pennsylvania last year, which killed a husband and father, to the attacks on ICE agents, to the vicious murder of a health care executive in the streets of New York, to the shooting of House Majority Leader Steve Scalise and three others, radical Left political violence has hurt too many innocent people and taken too many lives," he said.
β// β LET'S SKIP AHEAD A BIT:
I intended to talk about the news some more, but... that's what I get for being on shoddy internet and posting things before they're done.
Chief among the labels I apply to myself is "anti-theist" (and by extension I guess I am also a "secularist").
It is an improperly-fitting label, because I don't really care about gods, and where religion is concerned, my issue is with the damage that religion and religious organizations have done and continue to do - to children, to adults, to people's ability to overcome their biases and maintain integrity - while painting themselves as the bastions of moral righteousness, and demonizing everyone else.
Beyond that, I am a few other things, like a "humanist", a "skeptic", I'm "gender-queer", I support feminism, equal rights, an end to child abuse and gender-based violence (which includes violence against men), etc., et cetera.
Your religion and what it means to you, is irrelevant to me.
In context, it should also be irrelevant to you.
As a religious person (if you are), you, like me, should be able to remove yourself from the equation and view things as they are, regardless if "the way things are" paints your religious organizations in a negative light.
The same is supposed to apply to our political affiliations. In fact, the idea of "political affiliations" is kinda ludicrous to me, because we're not supposed to blindly support any group. We're supposed to support good ideas and good laws that benefit everyone.
We do not fix our problems by pretending they don't exist and not addressing them, and then blaming someone else for it.
Over the past few years, transgender people (in general) have been painted as child groomers and child molesters, and as a danger to children everywhere. This has been, and continues to be, the prevailing rhetoric from "right-wing" media.
Before them it was the other LGB_QIA+ people.
Before them it was people of color.
Before them it was women, but that's a different topic, because I don't think women have ever been painted as child groomers and child molesters, or a danger to children everywhere - this one is more of a... just acknowledging that the first "minority group" who faced discrimination, was likely women.
Meanwhile religious organizations have been sexually abusing people by the thousands... and silencing victims, and covering it up, and continuing to operate as though they never did nothing wrong, while the rhetoric continues to be that everyone else is the problem.
Back in 2021, the "Boy Scouts of America" settled in court with... wasn't it over 60,000 plaintiffs, who accused them of years of sexual abuse [π]? The Boy Scouts were allowed to file for bankruptcy, then apparently they rebranded themselves as "Scouting America". At some point they also opened their doors to girls. There were so many plaintiffs in that case that if every one of them was a victim, it meant that at least (2) kids were molested every single day, including Sundays, for years, upon years, upon years.
Back in 2024, a 59 year-old Australian woman was arrested and "charged with using a restricted computer service and causing more than $5000 in detriment to her former employer." Her former employer was "Uniting Church" of Brisbane Australia, a Christian organization that failed to properly investigate allegations against one of her colleagues [π]. That failure enabled him to sexually abuse over (60) children between 2002 and 2022. He has since been labeled one the worst child sex offenders in Australia's history [π].
Would you like me to continue?
There is literally a laundry list of stories like this. We could even pivot to stories involving specific individuals, but some of those are really fucking abhorrent and they might make you physically sick, and those are just the ones we know about.
And yes, I can turn this on anyone and any group, because there are vile people in every corner, but none of them are allowed to continue operating without constant scrutiny - while demonizing everyone else for the same things - like religious organizations are allowed to.
We need to put our biases aside and see the world as it is, or we will never fix our problems.
The word "fascism" doesn't mean religion.
Fascism is defined as the following:
A system of government marked by centralization of authority under a dictator, a capitalist economy subject to stringent governmental controls, violent suppression of the opposition, and typically a policy of belligerent nationalism and racism.
An authoritarian system of government under absolute control of a single dictator, allowing no political opposition, forcibly suppressing dissent, and rigidly controlling most industrial and economic activities. Such regimes usually try to achieve popularity by a strongly nationalistic appeal, often mixed with racism.
A political regime, having totalitarian aspirations, ideologically based on a relationship between business and the centralized government, business-and-government control of the market place, repression of criticism or opposition, a leader cult and exalting the state and/or religion above individual rights.
The problem is that fascism seems to follow religion around.
The problem is that religion is easily weaponized against people who don't conform - by using passages in their own religious books.
The problem is that the "good" religious people seldom have the power, or the influence, or the will, to reign in their religious organizations when they become empowered and go off the deep end.
How many years have we had to listen to bigoted hate preachers from various religious organizations call for the extermination of all LGBTQIA+ people:
[π] Baptist Pastor Stephen Falco (2025) -- "Thereβs nothing good to be proud about being a f*g. You ought to blow yourself in the head, in the back of the head. Youβre so disgusting. [...] Why do I hate sodomites, why do I hate f*gs? Because they attack children, theyβre coming after your children, they are attacking them in schools today, and not only schools in public places, and theyβre proud about it!"
[π] Baptist Pastor Dillon Awes (2024) -- "[Two gay pastors and the church official who hosted them should] get the death penalty, not be preaching behind the pulpit."
[π] Baptist Pastor Duncan Urbanek (2023) -- "Hey I'm going to pray for every pedophile. Every homo that exists, you know what my prayer for them is? They go straight into hell right now."
[π] Baptist Pastor Jason Graber (2023) -- "Any parent that would have their child have a transgender surgery done on themβany parent that would do that, they just need to be shot in the back of the head. Then we can string them up above a bridge so the public can see the consequences of that kind of wickedness. [...] There should be no excuse not to put these people to death."
P.S. "Transgender surgery" is not being handed out like candy to children! "Gender-affirming care" does not include surgery, unless it is an extreme case that involves or could involve self harm.
[π] Baptist Pastor Dillon Awes (2022) -- "[Queer people] should be lined up against the wall and shot in the back of the head.
[π] Baptist Pastor Jonathan Shelley (2021) -- [In response to and following the accidental death of an LGBTQIA+ person at a Pride event]: "I think only one person died. So hopefully we can hope for more in the future. You say, 'Well, that's mean.' Yeah, but the Bible says that they're worthy of death! You say, 'Are you sad when f*gs die?' No, I think it's great! I hope they all die! I would love it if every f*g would die right now.' And you say, 'Well, I don't think that's what you really mean.' That's exactly what I mean. I really mean it!"
[π] Baptist Pastor Steven Anderson (2014) -- "All homos are pedophiles. There, I said it, they're all pedophiles. [...] Here's what the Bible says, Leviticus 20:13, 'If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them.' And that, my friend, is the cure for AIDS. It was right there in the Bible all along. [...] Because if you executed the homos, like God recommends, you wouldn't have all this AIDS running rampant, [...] That's no different than what ISIS is doing in Iraq and Syria. God tells them to go kill anybody who's different from them."
With all due respect to the first commenter (and anyone else with the same criticisms of this post), I ain't out here calling for "the left" to line up every religious person and shoot them in the back of the fucking head.
I am saying that we need to acknowledge reality and stop living in the fabricated reality that fascists have concocted in order to incite violence, while they incite violence.
It ain't my fault that the individuals who are consistently calling for violence, seem to mainly be "right-wing", religious, and/or support Donald Trump.
Take that up with them.
Is passing laws for equality and to end discrimination, etc., the equivalent of inciting violence?
I ask because that's what "right-wing" media has been portraying it as for years.
"It's violence against God", they say, because the game we're playing is "identity politics" and there are a large number of people who cannot see past their "identities" - both political and religious.
Every time we try to talk about these things, it's spun as an "attack" on someone's "identity", a.k.a. their religion or their political affiliations, as though they agree with and support every single thing that their religious organizations and their political parties do - which would be troubling if they did.
Here on "the left" we eat our own - at least that's what people say.
I'm critical of everyone when they're deserving of criticism.
Just recently, some of our influencers on "the left" were exposed for creating a secret money group with contracts for creators that allegedly dictate what those creators can do and say while getting handouts from that secret money group [π].
Here on "the left", we harp on about transparency and accountability, but the "left-wing" influencers in question apparently forgot that, and instead of handling the situation with any maturity, decided to start a smear campaign against the reporter who exposed them while sprinkling on threats of litigation.
I had a field day with this shit on social media.
Do you need me to say that former President Joe Biden was a genocide-supporting, war-mongering piece of shit, who, along with numerous members of his political party failed to release "The Epstein Files" before handing America over to current President Donald Trump, who is a genocide-supporting, war-mongering piece of shit, who along with numerous members of his political party, are publicly suppressing "The Epstein Files" - in order to acknowledge that the world is going to shit while we sit here clutching our "ideologies"?
Jeffrey Epstein trafficked and raped under-aged girls, and many powerful people around the world have been implicated as being associated with him in one way or the other, including current U.S. President Donald Trump.
Just recently JP Morgan, one of the biggest banks in America, was exposed as having enabled Jeffrey Epstein's rapescapades to the tune of ONE (1) BILLION DOLLARS, by continuing to do business with him long after the first allegations against him arose [π].
<TAKES A DEEP BREATH>
I am not an American, but what happens in your country (for those of you who are American), affects my country.
Recently, the U.S. military killed a bunch of people in a little boat [π].
In response, my Prime Minister praised their actions, and said "kill them all violently". She then invoked God to bless the U.S. military [π].
I have no sympathy for people who traffic children for sex, but let's dissect this other article from a local newspaper [π].
On September 2, Persad-Bissessar, in a statement, said she had βno sympathy for traffickers. The US military should kill them all, violently.β
Sure, okay, but are we certain they were traffickers? Are we certain that the U.S. military didn't also kill someone who might have been a victim of trafficking?
I know the U.S. military has advanced technology, but I'm afraid I don't trust anything that U.S. officials say right now.
I don't trust a damn thing my own government says (or the previous administration - we just had a general election earlier this year), because they have been embroiled in corruption scandal after corruption scandal, and caught blatantly lying on multiple occasions. In fact, corruption and pathological lying are the only things my political parties seem to do consistently, without fail.
Kellan Jordan backed the Prime Minister, urging decisive action: βItβs time to eliminate dangerous drug rings and neutralise terrorists. Letβs stop wasting prison space and government funds on these criminals.β
Sure, okay, but who decides who a terrorist is? I know that sounds like semantics, but I have to ask, because their are numerous Israeli people who say that every man, woman, and child in Gaza is a terrorist and should be eliminated - and there are numerous Americans, including politicians, who support this view.
Furthermore, and I know you may not know anything about my country, but we have had elected officials flaunting their relationships with known criminals in the past, and they faced zero fucking repercussions.
Cunupia councillor Richard Sukdeo supported lethal punishment for drug dealers, emphasising the toll on youth: βThe violence affects our communityβs mental, emotional, and physical well-being. Their punishment must be lethal.β
Sure, okay, but would you like to take a guess at who else many of my fellow Trinidadians consider to be a detriment to our society? It's any and all LGBTQIA+ people.
Oh, and megachurch pastors from America come here to teach our pastors their bigotry, then our pastors disseminate it to the flock.
User Malabar Lyndon endorsed Persad-Bissessar citing UN data showing the global illicit drug tradeβs hundreds of billions in revenue. βThe Caribbean has long been a transshipment hub. How many more communities must suffer before leaders unite to dismantle this demonic enterprise? The time to act is now.β
Sure, okay, but did we need the religious connotations, and is it really impossible to do this without extra-judicial murder?
Debb Lorr Roberts offered a biblical view, saying, "An eye for an eye." She believes people are "fed up with living in fear, just trying to survive."
We do have a crime problem here, and we do have a child trafficking problem here, however, this shit doesn't happen in a vacuum. This shit occurs because our armed forces are involved, and/or our politicians are involved, and/or "the 1%" is involved, and/or members from the judiciary are involved.
Are we going to investigate and arrest any of them?
We don't even investigate and arrest politicians for corruption even when it's exposed.
The last one who was so blatant with their corruption that they were actually arrested, died before they could face conviction, and then she was canonized in the newspapers by both political parties, as though she didn't steal money that was meant to help impoverished communities.
I live in a backward third-world country where you cannot turn a corner without hearing someone extolling the virtues of their religion and their god, where you cannot read the news without seeing yet another case of child sexual abuse (that's an exaggeration, but it happens often [π] and in a lot of cases it's men sexually assaulting their own kids), where a woman cannot be a victim of sexual assault without numerous degenerate motherfuckers (including politicians) blaming and shaming her for it, where instead of addressing any of the issues plaguing our society, we blame godlessness and the horrid LGBTQIA+ agenda.
Does any of that sound familiar?
It should.
"Everyone" here either has a personal abuse story or has heard a story concerning child abuse or rape.
I had this client, a young guy looking for a job, always coming in to get a resume typed and printed. One day he comes in and tells me that he got a job. Yay, congratulations! A couple weeks later he comes in and... his employer turned out to be a (known) sexual predator who has never had to answer for their behavior, because I live in a country where sexual predators get away with it if they have enough money.
There's a respected lawyer somewhere in my country who was caught with two under-aged girls in his car and has never had to answer for it.
There are numerous respected "Men of God", "Pillars of the Community", who have groomed under-aged girls in their congregations for sex, and none of them ever had to answer for it, but you can bet that when those stories are told, the girls are made out to be Jezebels. In fact, the word "grooming" didn't become part of our social discourse until "right-wing" Americans started painting all transgender people as child groomers.
We had a serial child rapist who got away with it for years because none of his male victims were willing to come forward, or if they did, they were told to shut up, because I live in a country where the worst thing a man or boy can be perceived to be, is gay.
We had a serial rapist who got away with recording and selling videos of himself raping young adult women and teenagers for quite some time, because none of his victims were willing to come forward and report him, because I live in a country where women are dragged through shit when they report rape. And he had the fucking audacity to ask for bail "because he has (2) small children".
We had a child sex trafficker who, after finally catching him and then covering up for the police officer who was involved in it, was allowed to abscond from his house arrest (he disabled his electronic monitor and the authorities didn't bother to investigate until hours later), and the public was not notified about it for SIX (6) FUCKING WEEKS, and when the authorities finally saw fit to do so, it was to pat themselves on the back for convicting him of human trafficking... after he had already escaped. I don't know if he was ever re-captured.
Is my country the kinda fucked up, degenerate country that people all over the world want, because this is what it leads to - a third-world shit-hole.
Our religious leaders (Christian, Catholic, Muslim, Hindu, etc.), to my knowledge, have only ever banded together twice for a unified public statement:
To condemn a gay man who took the government to court over our archaic colonial anti-sodomy law that lumped sodomy and bestiality together, because consenting adults and people fucking animals is obviously the same thing, right?
Sodomy is defined as "sexual activity that involves oral or anal copulation, whether with the same or opposite sex.", and when I highlighted the oral sex aspect of it and how if the law was enforced, then anyone who engages in oral sex would be arrested, the response wasn't to acknowledge that the law was archaic bullshit, but to ask if I researched it - because we are a society that doesn't bother to educate ourselves on anything. All we know is "gay bad" because the pastors said so, because the Bible says so, because the pastors and the Bible say that God says so.
To praise Donald Trump for signing an Executive Order saying there are only (2) genders.
They've been quite mum since then, with all the other shit that Donald Trump has been doing, but I'm sure if he were to criminalize LGBTQIA+ people nationwide, they'd probably re-appear to praise him again, while not acknowledging anything else.
We are a country of people descended from slaves, of people descended from indentured slaves, of people who survived colonial genocide, of people who claim to care about the safety of children.
No, they haven't said shit about Donald Trump's push to white-wash slavery, but they do wholeheartedly support him erasing the identities of transgender people, and people like me who don't conform to their gender ideology.
I've never seen them band together to condemn violence against women, or toxic masculinity, or child rape, in fact, one of them even defends child marriage, and at least a couple of them have said that we should give up some of our rights and freedoms in order to combat the spiraling crime situation in my country, because that always ends well, right?
Bishop Dr. Victor Gill (2023) -- "The LGBT agenda is that of Hamas! They say they want [rights and equality], but what they really want is to eradicate Christian values! LGBT rights are an attack on your freedom!"
This was on one of our national radio stations. I do not have a recording of it, so you'll just have to take my word that I'm not a lying piece of shit.
Archbishop Charles Jason Gordon (2023) -- "Comprehensive Sex Education and abortion are an affront to God and our way of life! We should not focus on short term solutions, we should be focused on The Kingdom of Heaven!"
I might be embellishing this one a bit. I can't recall if he actually said "The Kingdom of Heaven" or just "Heaven". This was on one of our national radio stations too.
His other statements from this rant were reported in the newspapers from another country [π]. It was concerning the Samoa Agreement. "They [governments who agree/sign] will have to impose abortion legislation, transgender, LBGTQ, comprehensive sex education, a whole range of values will be imposed because of the signing of that document," because equal rights are an affront to God and our way of life here in the Caribbean.
Oh, and the national Catholic Newspaper printed a full-page editorial from two irate bigots who stated that American wild fires are "God's punishment for all the D.E.I. and woke agendas". They were also upset that the previous week's paper highlighted climate change as a potential cause, 'cause y'know, climate change is a lie and God hates gays.
If you listen to my father, all of science is a lie and Donald Trump was sent by <INSERT GOD> (he's a 'non-practicing' Muslim, so Allah) to "deal with" the disgusting transgender people, and the gays, and the progressives, and me, since he thinks I'm gay (which I'm not, I'm pansexual, but he'd hate that too), because y'know, the world is better in the eyes of <INSERT GOD> when women know their fucking place, and gays don't exist.
This is the kinda shit that I'm surrounded by, that I've been surrounded by, all of my life.
I live in a country where religious folks have the fucking audacity to make statements like this:
I don't mind gay people existing as long as they don't go around children.
While covering up for the pastors who groom and sexually abuse young girls, or pretending it doesn't happen while whispering about it, or "just keeping their head down and trying to get by" because they lack the fucking spine to hold anyone accountable if it would reflect badly on their religion.
Are you getting a grasp on why I am the way I am?
Have you read the Bible?
Which part of the Bible do you suppose people with views like those that Charlie Kirk held are pulling from when they say women should focus on motherhood and give up other pursuits, or that a woman should submit to her husband but not expect anything in return - that she should look to God for fulfillment?
Is it the part that folks like to cherry pick, or is it the part that says if a man lays with his wife and then decides he doesn't like her, that he can accuse her of being a whore, and if the woman and her father can't provide evidence that she's not a whore, that she will be stoned to death... or that if they do prove that she's not a whore, that he has to pay a fine and she gets to stay married to him - a man who will Shirley love and cherish her til death do they part.
Did you know that not all women "bleed" during their first sexual encounter? How many women do you suppose were stoned to death in "Biblical times", using this, the word of God?
Is that the Biblical marriage that two gay men marrying for love is an affront to?
Did I misread that passage or take it out of context?
Do you perhaps need a citation for where to find that passage in the Bible?
Have you ever listened to a man defend spousal rape using Christianity?
I have, and it wasn't online either.
I listened (in disgust) to someone I consider a friend, tell me a story about a female friend of theirs - a rape survivor - who was manipulated by a Christian man into marriage, who then raped her because she was "still not over the first rape", but he wanted sex, and she was his wife, and then I listened in disgust (and objection, because we were having a discussion) as my friend defended it with Christianity - because a woman is supposed to submit to her husband always.
I highly doubt that's what Christianity means to many Christians.
Unfortunately though, it's in the religious book, and there are numerous so-called Christian men out here using those passages to poison the minds of other men, young boys, women, and young girls.
I could compile a list from YouTube of so-called Christian influencers grooming other Christians with the worst parts of the Bible - especially where it concerns women.
How about instead I give you this video [π] (from one of my favorite creators) highlighting a popular and influential Christian apologist defending the butchering of children with the Bible?
No one likes to talk about "Bruno", because talking about "Bruno" always offends someone.
But the world is spiraling out of control and violence against "minorities" is on the rise, and what do we do when the people who spread problematic rhetoric are influential enough to change laws and change the course of the world?
Do we kill people for their views? Certainly not!
But blasphemy is considered a sin, and there are religious people in the world who believe that speaking ill of their religion and their god is punishable by death.
I do not live in America.
I live in a country where malicious ignorance runs wild and religion has a hold over our laws.
I live in a country where some of the worst people in my country are religious leaders.
I envy people who live in countries where there's still some semblance of humanity, where someone who isn't cis-gender or heterosexual can be themselves in public without fearing that someone might stalk them home and stab them to death, where a woman might be able to walk the street without men harassing her (though I don't know if anywhere like that exists), where you can leave your house and not hear disparaging remarks about women, or someone of a different race, or LGBTQIA+ people, etc., and I don't understand why numerous people around the world are clamoring to live in countries like mine - and make no mistake, that is what numerous people are clamoring for, whether or not they realize it.
<TAKES ANOTHER DEEP BREATH>
Would you like to see where the rampant religious bigotry against LGBTQIA+ people takes us in my part of the world?
Christianity is the predominant religion in Jamaica. Jamaica's laws establish freedom of religion and prohibit religious discrimination. According to the census of 2011, 69% of the population were Christians of various denominations, while 21% stated they had no religion.
Jamaica is also considered one of, if not the most homophobic places in the world.
When people weren't being dragged into the street and beaten to death, they were forced from their homes by their own family members and neighbors and forced to live in sewers.
I guess it was better than being beaten to death.
Take note of how old some of the following articles are:
"Harmonies of hate promote violence against gays to millions in the United States and elsewhere. [...] Jamaican dancehall star Buju Banton was considered a musical prodigy in 1988 when, at age 15, he recorded what remains one of his best-known tracks, βBoom Bye Bye.β Even in the difficult-to-decipher Jamaican slang known as patois, its chorus evokes violence and dread: Boom bye bye / inna batty bwoy head / Rude bwoy no promote no nasty man / dem haffi dead. (βBoom [the sound of a gunshot], bye-bye, in a fβββs head / the tough young guys donβt accept fβ; they have to die.β)"
Guess what kinda music is popular in my country?
I was in my early teens the first time I heard the lyrics "God created Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve" on the radio. Funny, innit? It's definitely funny to kids who don't understand the homophobia behind it, and by the time they're old enough to fully understand it, they've already been groomed by their parents, and their peers, and their religious leaders, into homophobia.
"Dwayne Jones was relentlessly teased in high school for being effeminate until he dropped out. His father not only kicked him out of the house at the age of 14 but also helped jeering neighbors push the youngster from the rough Jamaican slum where he grew up. [...] By age 16, the teenager was dead β beaten, stabbed, shot and run over by a car when he showed up at a street party dressed as a woman. His mistake: confiding to a friend that he was attending a "straight" party as a girl for the first time in his life."
[π] 2014 -- Judge Rules Homeless Jamaican LGBT Youth Can Keep Living in Sewers
"A judge in New Kingston, Jamaica ruled this week that homeless young people -- many of whom have been kicked out of their homes for being LGBT -- can continue living in the capital city's sewers, where they've taken up residence after being forced to leave abandoned buildings in which they sought shelter."
[π] 2021 -- Teen Set Ablaze, Left for Dead After Meeting Man From Gay Dating Site
"A group of three men in Jamaica kidnapped, disfigured, then set fire to an 18-year-old who believed he was meeting a man from a gay dating site. [...]"
[π] 2021/2004 -- After fleeing to Canada, activist helps secure victory for LGBTQ rights in Jamaica.
"Gareth Henry fled Jamaica for Canada more than a decade ago, but he's still fighting for the rights of LGBTQ people in his home country. [...] Henry is one of two defendants in the decade-long case. Both argued that the laws contributed to an atmosphere of hate that legitimized violence against them in Jamaica. In Henry's case, that violence began to ramp up in 2004. He had just taken over leadership of the LGBTQ organization JFlag after its previous leader was murdered. [...] For the next several years, he says, he was repeatedly targeted and harassed [beaten] by police officers. During that time, 13 of his colleagues in the LGBTQ community were murdered."
[π] 2025 -- Human rights groups demand apology from [Cabinet Minister] Daryl Vaz for endorsing anti-gay song.
"At a Jamaica Labour Party rally in Clarendon South Eastern on Sunday, Vaz, after concluding his speech, requested the DJ to play dancehall group TOKβs 2001 hit Chi Chi Man, a song notorious for its anti-gay lyrics."
"Chi Chi Man" is a derogatory slang term for a gay man.
If you scroll down on to the comments, you'll see one that states "[...] next minute these coots will be calling for banning the reading out of God's word [because] He calls homosexuality an abomination and unseemly. Read Deuteronomy and Romans."
First world countries pride themselves on being better than us third-world shit-holes.
They pride themselves on the belief that they would never, ever, reach the level of shit-holery seen in shit-hole countries.
Now scroll back up to the first section and re-read the comments made by the men and women who currently make the laws in America.
Part of the reason why we are so homophobic here in the Caribbean, is because we were all colonized at some point, and when the colonists fucked off back to France or England or Spain, and washed their hands of my area of the world, they left behind their religion, their racism, and their homophobia, and we clung to it.
So now, when our former colonizers start talking about equality and human rights for LGBTQIA+ people, we revolt in disgust, and our reasoning is God, because that is what we were taught.
Christianity might mean something different to you.
It also means something different here.
Our Christianity, is the Christianity of the hate preachers in your countries.
We have normalized it.
And now the so-called first world countries want to normalize it again.
It terrifies me that we cannot move past this fucking hatred for each other, and whether you want to acknowledge it or not, religion (not just Christianity) is part of the reason why.
We talk about the loving Jesus all fucking day here, then we turn around and remind each other that God said LGBTQIA+ people are abominations who should be put to death.
Leviticus 20:13
"If a man lies with another man as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood guilt shall be upon them."
Did you know there's a passage in the Bible specifically about men who wear women's clothes and women who wear men's clothes?
Deuteronomy 22:5
"A woman must not wear menβs clothing, nor a man wear womenβs clothing, for the Lord your God detests anyone who does this."
And I know the Bible says that Jesus said:
Mark 12:31
The second is this: βYou shall love your neighbor as yourself.β There is no other commandment greater than these.β
But the Bible also says that Jesus said:
Matthew 5:17-18
βDo not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished."
I digress, this isn't Bible Study. Unless you want it to be?
Can you acknowledge where the anti-LGBTQIA+ rhetoric comes from, because it didn't just pop up out of nowhere.
Likewise, for these passages to exist in these religious books, it means that gay and possibly transgender people have existed since before the time of Jesus, because the Old Testament was before the time of Jesus, was it not?
<TAKES YET ANOTHER DEEP BREATH>
Y'know there are at least (2) things I support Donald Trump and the Republican Party on.
I know we're kinda all over the place in this section, but stay with me.
Between all their ramblings about how guns don't kill people, people kill people, and how it's never the right time for anyone to talk about gun legislation, etc., et cetera., I agree with the statements that America has a mental health crisis that needs to be addressed, and that armed guards need to be put in schools so that someone is there who can intervene immediately if a school shooting occurs, because let's be real, Americans have allowed this problem to escalate to the point where simply passing better gun legislation ain't really gonna do shit on its own.
Here's the problem though, it's (9) months into Donald Trump and the Republican Party having damn near total control of the government, yet they ain't done either yet.
It's all "thoughts and prayers" as though that's gonna do a fucking thing to prevent the next mass shooting, and more rambling about how "Guns don't kill people! We need our guns to protect our God-given rights!", and of course the transgender fearmongering, and demonizing "the left" as the cause of absolutely all of the violence America has ever endured ever since the colonists came over and butchered the Native Americans! Oh my!
But what they have done, is slashed funding for affordable healthcare and de-funded the LGBTQIA+ suicide prevention hotline. Oh baby, have I been paying attention.
I suppose we just have to wait for them to pass all the anti-trans laws for them to give a flying fuck about protecting children, innit?
Oh, also, there have been calls to overturn marriage equality like they did to Roe v. Wade.
The U.S. Supreme Court has been officially asked to overturn the 2015 decision that granted equal rights for LGBTQ+ couples to be married.
On Jan. 16, 2015, ruling on the Obergefell v. Hodges Supreme Court case legalized same-sex marriage countrywide. A summary of the case from Supreme.Justia.com described marriage laws that previously banned same-sex marriage as a burden on the liberty of same-sex couples, humiliating and harmful to their children and abridging central precepts of equality.
On July 24, former Kentucky county clerk Kim Davis asked the Supreme Court to overturn Obergefell v. Hodges.
Supreme Court Associate Justice Clarence Thomas argued in a Friday opinion that the nation's top judicial body should overrule a previous decision legalizing LGBTQ marriage nationwide and a former ruling that determined criminalizing sodomy is unconstitutional.
Thomas issued a concurring opinion with the Supreme Court's 6 to 3 decision overturning abortion rights as established by Roe v. Wade on Friday. The conservative justice, who was appointed by former Republican President George H.W. Bush, took aim at the Court's 2003 ruling in Lawrence v. Texas and its 2015 decision in Obergefell v. Hodges.
Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito reminded Americans that marriage equality is in imminent peril at the Supreme Court. Thomas, joined by Alito, wrote a screed in defense of Kim Davis, the Kentucky clerk who refused to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples, painting her as a modern-day martyr. The two justices suggested that SCOTUS must overturn Obergefell v. Hodges, which recognized same-sex couplesβ right to marry, in order to preserve religious liberty in the United States. βDavis may have been one of the first victims of this Courtβs cavalier treatment of religion in its Obergefell decision,β Thomas warned, βbut she will not be the last.β
Justice Clarence Thomas really has it out for marriage equality...
Remember when "they" - the figurative "they" - said that Roe v. Wade could never be overturned? Ha ha haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
The US Supreme Court has overturned its own precedents 236 times during its 229 years of existence. If you think that sounds high, consider this: Between 1946 and 2016, there were 8,809 decisions made by the high court. During that same time, data from the US Government Publishing Office show 75 overturned decisions. Thatβs only 1.8% of rulings overturning prior decisions in whole or in part. The justices are strongly in favor of status quo.
This isn't fear-mongering. This is concern that a Supreme Court that has shown that it will side with Donald Trump on just about anything, holds the fate of people's rights in their hands.
How many times over the past few years have you heard that LGBTQIA+ people or women have "gone too far", only to have the rights that they fought so hard for, stripped away in an instant, at the whim of empowered bigots.
I am of the belief that if fascist bigots genuinely had to endure the shit they've made all of us endure for centuries, that they'd stop. They'd just stop. Because maybe they'd understand just how fucking dehumanizing all of this is.
If men's reproductive rights and bodily autonomy was being tossed around like fucking Frisbee and shat on every other day, maybe they'd finally fucking understand why feminism exists, instead of whining about "male loneliness" as though we all haven't been lonely at one point or another.
If cisgender and heterosexual rights and the freedom to practice religion were up for debate and able to be stripped away whenever the fuck we felt like it, maybe they'd understand the fight for equal rights, instead of making movies like "Disciples in the Moonlight" where they indulge in their fearmongering about "the left" banning their religion.
Have you noticed the parallels between Israel and Gaza and the way minorities are treated in America? It's the same justification, that "one day, 'the left' could outlaw religion, so let's strip them of their rights, demonize them, and criminalize them all first".
<STAIRS AT THE ICE IN MY BOTTLED WATER>
I like munching on ice.
Do I need to continue this section any further?
I can, but I also kinda want to move on, so maybe we can return later?
In the aftermath of the fatal shooting of conservative activist and founder of Turning Point USA, Charlie Kirk, in Utah on Wednesday, the United States again found itself in the familiar, dangerous churn of grief, political recrimination, and online conspiracy theories. This time, the storm swept up a 29-year-old transgender woman nearly 1000 miles away in Washington state, who had nothing to do with the tragedy.
[...]
Yet for two days, Michaelaβs face was plastered across right-wing accounts online, falsely accused of being the shooter. The Advocate is identifying her only by her first name to prevent further harassment.
[...]
The chaos intensified on Thursday when the FBIβs Salt Lake City field office released two images of a person of interest: a thin man in a hat and sunglasses. Instead of quelling rumors, the images fueled them. βThey added my photo to collages that implied I looked like the suspect,β Michaela said.
George Papadopoulos, a former Trump campaign aide who pleaded guilty in 2017 to lying to the FBI during the Mueller investigation into Russian election interference, amplified the rumor on X.
[...]
Papadopoulos, who has more than 1.2 million followers on X, served 12 days in federal prison before receiving a pardon from Trump in 2020.
The result was a tidal wave of harassment. βItβs been an inundation with abuse with hundreds [of messages], if itβs not death threats,β Michaela said. βAs a trans woman, Iβm used to hate and vitriol, but it feels different this time. These people really do want to kill me because they think that I killed their idol, Charlie Kirk. Iβm glad I live here or I would be scared to show my face outside [in Utah].β
[...]
The Wall Street Journal reported that ammunition recovered near the scene was engraved with βexpressions of transgender and antifascist ideology.β
The New York Times followed up by noting that law enforcement sources warned against taking the report as accurate.
GLAAD also warned against running with unverified claims.
[...]
Instead, the vague reporting became ammunition for political actors. On The Megyn Kelly Show, President Donald Trumpβs eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., claimed that βthe radical trans movementβ was more dangerous βper capitaβ than Al-Qaeda or the Taliban. βI canβt name, including probably like Al-Qaeda and the Taliban, a group that is more violent per capita than the radical trans movement,β he said. He went further, claiming that trans people had committed βpractically every mass shooting in America for the last few years.β
Oh... here we go again with the demonizing of transgender people by a Trump.
Are we allowed to say that Charlie Kirk also regurgitated this vile lie that transgender people are responsible for most mass shootings?
These assertions are flatly false. The Gun Violence Archive has tracked mass shootings since 2013 and found in 2023 that just 0.1 percent involved a transgender shooter. By contrast, 96 to 98 percent have been committed by cisgender men.
Fuck percentages.
Over the past (10) years, there have been (5) perpetrators of mass shootings who identified as something other than their assigned gender at birth.
By comparison, during that same time period, there have been THOUSANDS of cisgender perpetrators of mass shootings, and the majority of them are cisgender men.
I'll try to get actual figures. (β‘ See the next section for the statistics.)
How do we justify painting all transgender people as violent mass shooters when men whine constantly that "not all men rape" as though anyone has said that all men are rapists? Shirley someone might have at some point πΉ... but really?
Can we start saying that all religious people are either child rapists or child-rape enablers and call for violence against them, 'cause I've got a few hundred-thousand cases that we can do some mental gymnastics with.
I mean... it's everyone - Mormons, Christians, Baptists, Muslims, Catholics, Hindus, Scientologists, Amish, etc.
Shirley you understand why this kinda rhetoric is dangerous and incites violence.
β// β LET'S TALK ABOUT DANGEROUS RHETORIC:
[π] "I can't stand the word empathy, actually. I think empathy is a made-up, new age term that β it does a lot of damage."
What is the "context" that I'm missing here? Is it that empathy can be taken advantage of?
Understanding another personβs feelings and experiences, even if opposite to ours, may allow us to respond in a supportive way and regulate our own emotions. This understanding is known as empathy.
Empathy exists on a spectrum, and in most cases, it isnβt entirely absent β itβs just diminished.
[...]
People who have low empathy may excessively criticize other people for experiencing or expressing emotions in certain scenarios.
Someone with a lack of empathy may also blame the person for what theyβre experiencing.
[...]
Someone with low empathy may have trouble connecting to other peopleβs circumstances.
They may believe that a certain event would never happen to them or that they could handle the situation βmuch better.β Because they feel this way, they wonβt be able to understand or feel the other personβs distress.
[...]
A person who lacks empathy may invalidate or dismiss someoneβ emotional reactions.
They may think peopleβs feelings are optional or come from what they may perceive as an emotional deficit. βYouβre feeling that way because you want to or because youβre too sensitive, not because itβs really that bad.β
[...]
Someone with low empathy may joke about someoneβs emotions or circumstances. They may also have a difficult time actively listening to you. They could also act cheerful or indifferent after you just expressed feeling sad or stressed.
I know I said this isn't Bible Study, but Charlie Kirk was Christian, right?
The Bible has many "problematic" passages in it, but it also includes some good ones:
Galatians 6:2
Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
And this:
1 John 3:17
But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him?
If I am to not have empathy for anyone, then why would I have empathy... for anyone?!
Where does this "empathy does a lot of damage" thing end?
Should I still have empathy for children?
[π] "I think it's worth it. I think it's worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God-given rights."
If you genuinely believe this then there should have never been any calls for violent retribution. It should have been "thoughts and prayers", vigils, and celebrating the man's life, while also arresting and prosecuting the culprit. Not witch hunts or calls for civil war... well, we've kinda elevated to a global crusade with his widow's statements, but I'm willing to let it slide just this once, because she's grieving, and I still have empathy.
As of September 8th, (168) children have died in gun-related incidents in America [π].
The first incident was on January 1st. The child was 10 years old.
Yanelis was with her family in the parking lot in front of their apartment, [...], lighting fireworks around 1:30 a.m. to celebrate the new year when she was struck in the head by a [stray] bullet. Yanelis collapsed to the ground. Her parents immediately went over to examine exactly what happened to her, and they noticed an injury to the back of her head.
Her family put her in a car with the intent of driving her to the hospital. During the frantic drive, they called 911. They were met by Hialeah Fire Rescue at [...] who took the girl to the Ryder Trauma Center where she died.
She celebrated her 10th birthday on Boxing Day.
No mass shooting. No gang violence. No political assassination.
She wasn't playing with an unsecured gun that belonged to her parents.
I don't know what it's like to watch someone that I love die in front of me like this in real life, but I know what loss feels like. I know what losing someone I care about feels like.
I'm not against the Second Amendment, but I am for proper gun legislation and better gun laws.
Shirley your "God-given right to bear arms" doesn't require you to be shooting off your gun at every celebration like a fucking moron with no concern for anyone else.
I suppose without empathy, I wouldn't give a shit, would I?
It ain't happening to me!
If it was me, I'd have kept my child in-doors. That's what we have a TV for!
It's their own damn fault!
Right? Yes? No?
There's more we can talk about here. For instance, we can discuss the other side of the gun legislation argument and the fact the statistics allegedly show that more gun legislation doesn't actually lower gun violence [π].
The thing about those statistics is that they don't take other factors into consideration.
This part isn't something we can talk about right now, because I don't I know enough about it to talk about it off the top of my head. Contrary to not-so-popular belief, I am not AI. πΉ
[π] "We made a huge mistake when we passed the Civil Rights Act in the 1960s."
There were (2) Civil Rights Acts in the 1960s:
The Civil Rights Act of 1960 (Pub. L. 86β449, 74 Stat. 89, enacted May 6, 1960) is a United States federal law that established federal inspection of local voter registration polls and introduced penalties for anyone who obstructed someone's attempt to register to vote. It dealt primarily with discriminatory laws and practices in the segregated South, by which African Americans and Tejanos had been effectively disenfranchised since the late 19th and start of the 20th century.
The Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Pub. L. 88β352, 78 Stat. 241, enacted July 2, 1964) is a landmark civil rights and labor law in the United States that outlaws discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, and national origin. It prohibits unequal application of voter registration requirements, racial segregation in schools and public accommodations, and employment discrimination. The act "remains one of the most significant legislative achievements in American history".
Which of them do you suppose the statement was in reference to?
Maybe both since the second one expands the first one.
I assume the argument is that the Civil Rights Acts of the 1960s opened the door to D.E.I.(A.), and while I will acknowledge that there may have been abuses of D.E.I.(A.) initiatives, "right-wing" media likes to pretend as though absolutely no people of color, or LGBTQIA+ people, (or women) are qualified for the the jobs they currently have.
Donald Trump says... a lot of things. Concerning this, he said he wants a "Colorblind, Merit-Based society". To that end, one of his most recent appointments was a former NFL player and registered sex offender, and he was appointed to "a council that will advise on matters including youth sports" [π].
Because there are no other former any-kind-of-sports-player available who didn't have sex with a "trafficked 16-year-old girl", right?
America is fucking tiring.
It's been (9) months of non-stop bullshit following (8) years of non-stop bullshit.
[π] ATTENDEE: "Do you know how many transgender Americans have been mass shooters over the last 10 years?"
KIRK: "Too many." [Applause]
ATTENDEE: "In America, it's five. Now, five is a lot, right, I'm going to give you β I'm going to give you some credit. Do you know how many mass shooters there have been in America over the last 10 years?"
KIRK: "Counting or not counting gang violence?"
In the previous section I said I'd get some actual figures.
The figures depend on the criteria used to determine whether or not an incident is referred to as a mass shooting. There appears to be no consensus on this, which is kinda ridiculous [π].
But we still have the data.
"Statista" defines a mass shooting as "any single attack in a public place with three or more fatalities, in line with the definition by the FBI."
By that criteria, there have been (84) mass shootings over the past (10) years [π], and (5) of them were perpetrated by individuals who identified as something other than their assigned gender at birth.
I have an old article that lists the previous (4) individuals, so let's take a look at the years:
2018 -- (12) mass shootings. (1) perpetrated by a non-cis-gender individual.
2019 -- (10) mass shootings. (1) perpetrated by a non-cis-gender individual.
2022 -- (12) mass shootings. (1) perpetrated by a non-cis-gender individual.
2023 -- (12) mass shootings. (1) perpetrated by a non-cis-gender individual.
2025 -- (4) mass shootings as of September 14th. (1) perpetrated by a non-cis-gender individual.
"Too many." I agree. Even (1) mass shooting perpetrated by anyone is too many.
Wait a doggone minute! Is the recent one perpetrated by the non-binary Nazi motherfucker even considered a mass shooting by FBI criteria, and is it even one of the four listed for 2025?
I counted it as though it is, but I'm not actually sure.
F.Y.I. I, like Charlie Kirk, consider it a mass shooting whether or not the FBI does.
I don't really agree with the (3) or more fatalities criteria, but that also means that people like Charlie Kirk who want to use a different criteria to classify a mass shooting in order to include the recent one, don't get to use the (84) figure for the last (10) years, because if you're lowering the criteria, then that (84) figure goes up.
But, there is that "Counting or not counting gang violence?" quip. I ain't forgot that.
Let's skip over to "Gun Violence Archive", which defines a mass shooting as any incident that has "a minimum of four victims shot, either injured or killed, not including any shooter who may also have been killed or injured in the incident."
By that criteria, there have been (302) mass shootings in 2025 as of September 12th [π].
Clearly neither of these is the criteria that "right-wing" media is using, so let's try to find it by narrowing this down to just school shootings.
For this we go to "Education Week", which appears to define a school shooting as any incident involving a firearm where at least (1) person was injured.
By that criteria, there have been (9) school shootings in 2025 as of September 11th [π].
The problem with narrowing it down to just school shootings, is that the number of non-cis-gender perpetrators drops from (5) to (3):
[π] 2018 -- (24) school shootings with (35) fatalities.
The one with the most fatalities (17), appears to have been a cis-gender perpetrator.
This was the year of the pharmaceutical facility shooting. There were (4) fatalities. The perpetrator was said to have "suffered from bipolar disorder and depression", and what have both "right" and "left" been saying for the past [X] years? America has a mental health crisis and we need to address it. Can you tell me how we're addressing it? Is it by banning transgender folks?!
[π] 2019 -- (24) school shootings with (8) fatalities.
The one with the most fatalities (2), appears to have been a cis-gender perpetrator.
There was (1) fatality in the incident perpetrated by the non-cis-gender person.
[π] 2022 -- (51) school shootings with (40) fatalities.
The one with the most fatalities (21), appears to have been a cis-gender perpetrator.
This was the Uvalde school shooting at Robb Elementary School where there were over (100) law enforcement agents on site and they all stood by, blocking parents from entering the school as the perpetrator killed (19) children between the ages of (9) and (11), and (2) teachers [π]. It is considered the third worst school shooting in America, following the Virginia Tech shooting in 2007 and the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in 2012 (which that other "right-wing" jackass likes to say didn't happen). All those guns. All those trained law enforcement agents. (78) minutes of horror. Go Texas!
This was the year of the nightclub shooting. There were (5) fatalities.
[π] 2023 -- (38) school shootings with (21) fatalities.
The one with the most fatalities (6), was the non-cis-gender perpetrator.
[π] 2025 -- (9) school shootings and (4) fatalities as of September 11th, 2025.
The one with the most fatalities (2), was the non-binary Nazi motherfucker.
I'm curious about 2021 and 2024 so let's check them out:
[π] 2021 -- (35) school shootings and (15) fatalities.
[π] 2024 -- (39) school shootings and (18) fatalities.
Most of those "fatalities" across all of those years are children and teenagers.
America has a gun violence problem, and blaming transgender people for it, isn't going to stop it.
β// β MORE DANGEROUS RHETORIC:
So, this is the game we're playing.
Bear with me some more as Charlie Kirk's statements prove my fucking point.
I'm going to remind you again that the Bible says the following:
Leviticus 20:13
"If a man lies with another man as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood guilt shall be upon them."
Deuteronomy 22:5
"A woman must not wear menβs clothing, nor a man wear womenβs clothing, for the Lord your God detests anyone who does this."
And you are not allowed to criticize me, because I'm just pointing out what the Bible says, and you are certainly not allowed to criticize the Bible, because it is the perfect word of God.
You are also not allowed to re-interpret or dismiss either of those two passages because they are God's truth.
Got it?
So there's this lady named "Ms. Rachel" on YouTube who made the news sometime ago because... I believe she was - I'm pulling this off the top of my head - getting death threats for trying to help the children in Gaza.
Apparently she argued (concerning LGBTQIA+ people) that the Bible says:
Mark 12:31
The second is this: βYou shall love your neighbor as yourself.β There is no other commandment greater than these.β
And Charlie Kirk responded with:
"[...] by the way, Ms. Rachel, you might want to crack open that Bible of yours. In a lesser reference, part of the same part of scripture, is in Leviticus 18, is that βthou shall lay with another man shall be stoned to death.' Just saying."
Very respectfully reminding you that the Bible says that gay men should be stoned to death.
I only know about this because Stephen King (the author) was forced to apologize for claiming that Charlie Kirk "advocated for the act of throwing stones to kill gay people" following the latter's recent murder [π].
Shirley Charlie Kirk has never publicly advocated for that, right, but the Bible does, and he, like me, was just reminding you of it.
Don't get so worked up, bro.
It ain't that deep.
I'm just reminding you that this god, in his case, his god, says that you should die by stoning.
Now I'm curious - and no one actually needs to respond - if the folks who consider themselves Christian, or Catholic, or one of the many other denominations, who also do not condone violence against LGBTQIA+ people (whether or not they consider them abominations or lost souls or whatever the fuck is irrelevant for right now), see this as problematic, and can acknowledge that as respectful and polite as I'm sure that podcast must have been, that it's the door being opened for men like any one of the Baptist pastors I quoted in an earlier section to then say that we need to "line up all f*gs and shoot them in the head", 'cause y'know, we ain't in the fuckin' Stone Age no more.
Shirley this is not what your religion means to you, but clearly this is what it means to a number of influential and/or powerful people, y'know the folks who are always openly talking about it and passing laws to the effect (not to openly shoot folks in the head, but to strip them of their rights), whether or not they quote the scripture or invoke the name of God... even though they do.
What, if anything, can you do to reign them in?
What could I possibly do to reign them in, after they've been empowered by men and women who ignore the "problematic rhetoric" in favor of their religious bias - partially because they've been led to believe that "my kind" is out here foaming at the mouth for their blood and the blood of their children.
What could I possibly say to convince any of them when their rhetoric and their views and their religious book, and their god, all paint me as a degenerate lunatic deserving of death?
How the fuck do we achieve peace between us, when the barrier preventing us from doing so is not on my side - when we can't even discuss the problem without being accused of attacking religion and inciting violence (against God and therefore all of "His" people)?
Regardless what my views are on religion, I am anti-genocide, and I am anti- anyone who justifies butchering children, whether it's Christian children, Muslim children, white children, black children, brown children, Atheist children, Scientologist children, Satanist children, colonist's children, it don't fuckin' matter. WE DO NOT BUTCHER CHILDREN.
That is my "red line" - one of... they all just layer one on top of the other.
No mental gymnastics.
No excuses.
No "Let's Pretend".
No "Let's See What The Book Says".
Children are the reason I am anti-theist.
Rampant child abuse (and the obvious will to cover it up and then project that guilt onto everyone else while everyone turns a blind eye and/or joins the projection train) is the reason I cannot support any religion, and by extension any god... except my mythological goddesses, but none of that shit counts. πΉ
My father couldn't understand this when I explained to him that it was the reason why I turned my back on religion, and that if I had to find my way back to religion (any religion), it would have to be on my own.
Sounds reasonable, right?
I either will or will not find my way back to "God".
And it's easy too - religion needs to stop abusing children (and covering it up, and projecting guilt, and their flock needs to stop turning a blind eye).
It went in one ear and out the other, and he immediately continued trying to groom me into Islam, saying that (and I'm paraphrasing) the creator would value me finding my way on my own, BUT ALSO, would still reward me if someone else helped me along.
This is the same man who will watch FOX NEWS and mock transgender people and preach about how dangerous they are to children, and oh, they're putting litter boxes in classrooms, and hope that in an explosion that killed a child, that some LGBTQIA+ people got taken out too.
"Empathy does a lot of damage."
See why I got accused of being AI and told to have fun talking to myself? πΉ
Clearly I'm just young, unemployed, and don't understand shit, right? πΏ

[π] Joy Reid is an American political commentator and television host. She was a national correspondent for MSNBC and is best known for hosting the political commentary program The ReidOut from 2020 to 2025.
Reid graduated from Harvard University in 1991 with a concentration in film studies.
[π] Michelle Obama is an American first lady (2009β17), the wife of Barack Obama, 44th president of the United States. She was the first African American first lady.
She graduated in 1981 as the salutatorian of her class at Whitney Young High School, Chicago's first magnet high school. She was on the honor roll for four years, took Advanced Placement classes, was a member of the National Honor Society, and served as student council treasurer.
She majored in sociology and minored in African-American studies at Princeton University, graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in 1985 (B.A., 1985).
She earned her Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Harvard Law School in 1988.
In 2023, using his First Amendment right to share his views politely and respectfully, Charlie Kirk said of these women [π]:
If we would have said three weeks ago [β¦] that Joy Reid and Michelle Obama and Sheila Jackson Lee and Ketanji Brown Jackson were affirmative-action picks, we would have been called racist. But now they're coming out and they're saying it for us! They're coming out and they're saying, "I'm only here because of affirmative action."
Yeah, we know. You do not have the brain processing power to otherwise be taken really seriously. You had to go steal a white person's slot to go be taken somewhat seriously.
We know. We know. It's very obvious to us you are not smart enough to be able to get it on your own. "I could not make it on my own, so I needed to take opportunities from someone more deserving."
Affirmative Action exists because of the systemic racism that existed/exists in America that prevented African Americans and other minorities from having equal opportunities. [π]
Affirmative action was initiated by the administration of President Lyndon Johnson (1963β69) in order to improve opportunities for African Americans while civil rights legislation was dismantling the legal basis for discrimination. The federal government began to institute affirmative action policies under the landmark Civil Rights Act of 1964 and an executive order in 1965. Businesses receiving federal funds were prohibited from using aptitude tests and other criteria that tended to discriminate against African Americans. Affirmative action programs were monitored by the Office of Federal Contract Compliance and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). Subsequently, affirmative action was broadened to cover women and Native Americans, Hispanics, and other minorities and was extended to colleges and universities and state and federal agencies.
Shall we have a discussion about Legacy / ALDC admissions? [π]
The term βlegacy preferenceβ describes an admissions preference for students with familial ties to an institution of higher education. Its origins date back more than a century, when elite colleges began deprioritizing merit-based metrics and focusing on studentsβ familial ties during the admissions process. The purpose of these practices was clear: universities intended to limit enrollment of ethnic and religious minorities.
Today, the practice has a similar effect. Legacy preference admissions prioritize lineage over merit, wealth over social mobility, and sameness over diversity.
Sorry! I forgot, only Affirmative Action is a problem because that one is for minorities!
Rich white folks getting into universities simply because they're rich, taking spots away from potentially more deserving white folks or other deserving minority folks is absolutely not a fucking problem, because... <INHALES SHARPLY AND CACKLES> πΉ
"Merit-based society", my arse.
Furthermore, does nothing they accomplished with the opportunity they were given, count for anything? It's not like they squandered it.
Y'know what I think? I think everyone should have more opportunities.
Fuck ALDC, and do Affirmative Action for errbady!
Is that not how it works? Pfft! You know what I mean!
In case you haven't been paying attention, Charlie Kirk's words are becoming untouchable.
Even quoting the man word for word is inching towards being off-limits.
Maybe you've been here long enough to remember me saying numerous times that we should never put anyone so high on a pedestal that they become untouchable and immune to criticism? That is exactly what is happening right now.
I should find a "left-wing" public figure or influencer to balance this out with, someone I admired or respected a lot who did something bad - you know what I mean.
There aren't many to choose from because I stopped idolizing people when I turned my back on religion - though my parents could also blame themselves for this, because to a child, their parents are their god, and my parents are both shit parents and shit people - and I stopped idolizing political parties when I grew up and stopped ignoring how corrupt both political parties are in my country.
There is no one that I admire or respect that I would not tear a new one, if tomorrow they did some indefensible shit.
Also, "You do not have the brain processing power to otherwise be taken really seriously." in this context, is just racism, or sexism, or both.
Out of context, outside of a discussion about Affirmative Action, one could argue it's just an insult, but in context, it is just fucking racism and/or sexism. C'mon now.
If I were to say that... I'd change it it to "You lack the higher brain functions required to be taken seriously." It sounds better. πΉ What? I like a good insult.
β// β THEY'RE THOUGHT-POLICING MMMEEEEEEEE:
I've highlighted the fact that one of our mod creators, whom I once had a lot of respect for before his bigotry-turn, whines about "the left" thought-policing everyone with gender-neutral vocabulary and rainbows, or some such nonsense.
I heard (but have not verified) that recently he went on a rant about how if gender isn't binary then nothing is binary and there is no good and evil or some such batshit nonsense, as though GENDER AND THE WAY I FUCKING DRESS has anything to do with the concept of good and evil. πΉπΉπΉπΉπΉπΉπ
If true, then next he might be talking about snail sex. ππππ¦
Don't ask. I've listened to some "totes science" anti-trans bullshit.

I literally typed "NoThankYou@pfft_com" and they let me in! Shhh! Don't tell them! πΉ
In March, Secretary of State Marco Rubio stripped Turkish doctoral student RΓΌmeysa ΓztΓΌrkβs of her visa based on what a court later found was nothing more than her opinion piece critical of Israel. [π]
Now, a bill introduced by the chair of the House Foreign Affairs Committee is ringing alarm bells for civil liberties advocates who say it would grant Rubio the power to revoke the passports of American citizens on similar grounds.
The provision, sponsored by Rep. Brian Mast, R-Fla., as part of a larger State Department reorganization, is set for a hearing Wednesday.
Mastβs legislation says that it takes aim at βterrorists and traffickers,β but critics say it could be used to deny American citizens the right to travel based solely on their speech. (The State Department said it doesnβt comment on pending legislation.)
[...]
Mast, for his part, has publicly voiced his support for βkicking terrorist sympathizers out of our country.β At the time, he was talking about deporting Mahmoud Khalil, a Palestinian green-card holder who the Trump administration detained and attempted to deport based on what critics of the move said were his pro-Palestine views. [π]
Mastβs new bill claims to target a narrow set of people. One section grants the secretary of state the power to revoke or refuse to issue passports for people who have been convicted β or merely charged β of material support for terrorism. (Mastβs office did not respond to a request for comment.)
[...]
The other section sidesteps the legal process entirely. Rather, the secretary of state would be able to deny passports to people whom they determine βhas knowingly aided, assisted, abetted, or otherwise provided material support to an organization the Secretary has designated as a foreign terrorist organization.β
The reference to βmaterial supportβ disturbed advocates who have long warned that the government can misuse statutes criminalizing βmaterial supportβ for terrorists β first passed after the 1995 Oklahoma City federal building bombing and toughened after the 9/11 attacks β to punish speech.
Some of those fears have been borne out. The Supreme Court ruled in 2010 that even offering advice about international law to designated terror groups could be classified as material support. [π]
The government even deemed a woman who was kidnapped and forced to cook and clean for Salvadoran guerrillas a material supporter of terrorism, in order to justify her deportation. [π]
Since the October 7 Hamas attacks, pro-Israel lawmakers and activists have ratcheted up attempts to expand the scope and use of anti-terror laws.
The Anti-Defamation League and the Louis D. Brandeis Center for Human Rights Under Law suggested in a letter last year that Students for Justice in Palestine was providing βmaterial supportβ for Hamas through its on-campus activism. [π]
Lawmakers also tried to pass a βnonprofit killerβ bill that would allow the Treasury secretary to strip groups of their charitable status if they are deemed a βterrorist-supporting organization.β The bill was beaten back by a coalition of nonprofit groups, most recently during the debate over the so-called Big, Beautiful Bill. [π]
[...]
The provision particularly threatens journalists, Stern said. He noted that Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., in November 2023 demanded a Justice Department βnational security investigationβ of The Associated Press, CNN, New York Times, and Reuters over freelance photographersβ images of the October 7 attacks. [π]
Rubio also revoked ΓztΓΌrkβs visa on what appears to be nothing more than an op-ed she wrote for the Tufts University student newspaper in 2024 β which did not mention Hamas β calling on the school to divest from companies tied to Israel. [π]
[...]
Hamadanchy said the provision granting the secretary of state discretionary power over passports appeared to be an attempt to sidestep being forced to provide evidence of legal violations.
βI canβt imagine that if somebody actually provided material support for terrorism there would be an instance where it wouldnβt be prosecuted β it just doesnβt make sense,β he said.
[...]
The law, he said, would also grant nearly unchecked power to a Democratic secretary, he said.
βLately, it appears that the right is so convinced that it will never be out of power that the idea that one day the shoe might be on the other foot doesnβt resonate,β Stern said. βWhat is to stop a future Democratic administration from designating an anti-abortion activist, a supporter of West Bank settlements, an anti-vaxxer to be a supporter of terrorism and target them the same way? The list is endless.β
This isn't me calling for war or trying to fearmonger you.
This is just me saying, if you're an American, you might want to pay attention to this.
This would be a good place to end this post if there weren't other things to talk about.
β// β THE (13) YEAR OLD WITH THE "COOL" ARSENAL:
Open the link, look at what the cops confiscated, and explain this shit to me.
When police arrested a 13-year-old boy in Washington state last week accused of making threats to kill, they found he had βeverything ready to go to commit a mass shootingβ β including a trove of more than 20 guns in his home.
He was arrested after the Pierce County Sheriffβs Office received information Friday from an internet watch group that reports threatening online posts, Deputy Carly Cappetto told CNN.
[...]
When a SWAT team descended on the boyβs home, located in a suburban area of Parkland, Washington, around 1 a.m. Saturday, they found a collection of 23 firearms, several boxes of ammunition, loaded magazines βwith school shooter writings on them,β as well as clothing and writings typical to a mass shooting scenario, Cappetto said.
[...]
What investigators found in the boyβs bedroom revealed what they describe as an obsession with past school shooters. He βimitated similar behaviors, with photos and inscriptions spread throughout his room,β the sheriffβs office said.
[...]
Some firearms were mounted on the walls, fully accessible, while others were spread around the home, unsecured, the sheriffβs office said.
Images released by authorities of the firearms seized show rows of long rifles and handguns, lined up one by one. Itβs unclear whether the guns were purchased legally, Cappetto said, noting that many have no serial numbers and are essentially βuntraceable.β
Some also appear to be homemade from a 3D printer, Cappetto said.
[...]
Outside the courtroom, his parents told KOMO the situation is a misunderstanding. His mother suggested his social media posts were an attempt to βbe coolβ among peers, and his father said he had no intention to harm anyone, KOMO reported.
[...]
Washington state law dictates guns must be stored out of reach of children.
[...]
The prosecutor will ultimately decide whether the parents will be charged with improper storage and safekeeping of firearms or other potential crimes, Cappetto noted.
Have we spoken about "school shooter ideation" before?
I feel like it might have come up in my "ROBLOX is a den for child predators" post, but I can't remember, and the internet is... the internet.

Yes? No?
It might be some pro-patriarchy ignorant regional bullshit, but I shit you not, I have heard this garbage more than once over the course of my life.
The last time I heard it, I decided to look it up.

[...] a 77-year-old retired banker living in Toronto, started circulating online shortly after right-wing influencer Charlie Kirk was shot dead at a Utah college campus on Wednesday.
On social media, Mallinson was falsely identified as a suspect in the shootingβsimply because he looked a little like a man who was briefly detained and then released by police after the fatal incident.
[...]
In the chaotic moments that followed the shooting, a picture of a man being held by police at the Utah college campus started circulating online next to a picture of Mallinson, claiming he was a registered Democrat from Utah.
These posts quickly went viral and were reshared on social media platforms hundreds of times, despite a complete lack of evidence pointing at Mallinson being involved in the shooting in Utah.
[...]
Mallinson, in fact, was in Toronto, Canada, when the fatal shooting occurred, as he said on Wednesday. During a phone interview with the New York Times, Mallinson said he was "shocked" to see his name and face making the rounds on social media, as users accused him of being the shooter.
[...]
The rumor that sparked thousands of posts on social media falsely identifying Mallinson as the shooter apparently started from an account on X called Fox 11 Reno, a fake account with no affiliation with a Fox affiliate in Nevada.
In the aftermath of this post, Mallinson's social media profilesβincluding an X account that was still active at the timeβwere closely scrutinized by other users. In some of the posts that followed, users made unjustified claims that Mallinson was "pure evil," a "liberal boomer lunatic," and a "far-left extremist" with a "Ukrainian connection."
Mallinson told the New York Times that he received messages on Facebook from people calling him a "savage," and other insults.
[...]
Since the mixup online, Mallinson has shut down his social media profiles, trying to wipe out his online presence. He said that he has also reported what happened to the local police, and he is considering suing people who circulated falsehoods about him in relation to Kirk's shooting.
β// β THEY ARE DOXXING PEOPLE:
And by "they" I mean the "right-wing", in case there's any confusion.
They say they're doxxing people who mock Kirk's death, but there are reports that people who politely and respectfully say they disagree with Kirk's views are also getting doxxed.
And, there have been instances of individuals who have been doxxed but didn't even do anything, as in the case of an ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHER and an IT TECHNICIAN.
Those people's personal information, including where they work and where they live and who their family members are, is now in a "right-wing" database and in "right-wing" groups for the rest of their lives.
Once upon a time the "right-wing" used to harp on endlessly about the right to "Free Speech".
You have no free speech.
Be careful.
And no, this post ain't going nowhere. I don't delete posts.
P.S. I can understand folks getting suspended or fired from their jobs for mocking someone's death - it's not a good look for an employer - but this isn't that. This is a coordinated effort to destroy people's lives, in some cases, FOR SIMPLY HAVING A FUCKING OPINION.
Right wing influencers are blasting people's names and personal details out to millions before ever verifying their claims.
Last Friday, [...], began receiving a barrage of alarming messages and voicemails telling him to "hide" and "get the fuck out of America." Someone sent him his home address.
[...] was baffled. He figured it was some sort of spam campaign and tried to ignore it to focus on work. But soon, the calls and messages became overwhelming.
While [...] was hard at work, a slew of right wing X accounts had posted his personal information including his photo, home address, and phone number online to millions, claiming he was behind an X account that had celebrated Charlie Kirk's death. But the X account, which over 13,000 users on X posted about, wasn't his.
Since Kirk's killing last week, far right internet users and conservative figures have engaged in a mass cancellation and censorship campaign that has resulted in teachers, military personnel, journalists, and a slew of other workers getting fired, suspended, or disciplined for social media posts. Last Friday, a junior Nasdaq employee was fired over her posts related to Kirk. An assistant dean at Middle Tennessee State University was fired after posting that she had "zero sympathy" for Kirk. The far right influencer Chaya Raichik behind the account Libs of TikTok has posted a steady stream of targets to her over 4.4 million followers.
An anonymously run website called Expose Charlieβs Murderers collected tens of thousands of people's names, social media accounts, employment info, and more, publishing entries on anyone perceived to have βcelebratedβ or βmockedβ Kirkβs death. On Monday the site rebranded to the "Charlie Kirk Data Foundation."
The Trump administration and Republicans in government have encouraged these campaigns. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said that his agency was tracking any military personnel who celebrated or mocked Kirkβs death. Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau, suggested that the administration might revoke the visas of anyone who celebrated Kirk's passing. [π]
Rep. Clay Higgins, a Republican lawmaker from Louisiana, said he would "use Congressional authority" to ban anyone who "belittled the assassination of Charlie Kirk" from social media for life [π]. βIβm also going after their business licenses and permitting, their businesses will be blacklisted aggressively, they should be kicked from every school, and their drivers licenses should be revoked,β he wrote on X.
However, many of these reports and claims of people making insensitive comments about Kirk appear to be unverified. On the internet, it's easy to fake a screenshot or set up an account in someone else's name and manufacture outrage.
On Monday, Ryan Fournier, the national chairman of Students for Trump posted a tweet reading, "IMPORTANT UPDATE: All posts regarding [...] have been deleted after we received further information. At least 13 people have been wounded, five critically, in two shootings that erupted over a span of 12 hours at homeless encampments in Minneapolis with the city's mayor saying he wouldn't be surprised if they are connected.
The shootings on Monday marked the fourth and fifth mass shootings to occur in Minneapolis in the past three weeks, including one on Aug. 27 at Annunciation Catholic School that left two children dead and 21 people injured. [π]
"This is tragic. It's horrible. It's unacceptable, and, sadly, it's not surprising," Mayor Jacob Frey said at a news conference early Tuesday.
On September 10th, the same day Kirk was murdered, a FOX NEWS host said we should "just kill" all homeless people. Literally on that same day was a another school shooting! [π]
I'm... kinda upset now that I was told I'm no better than Kirk's murderer.
Fox News Channel host Brian Kilmeade apologized on Sunday for advocating for the execution of mentally ill homeless people in a discussion on the network last week, saying his remark was βextremely callous.β
Kilmeadeβs initial comment came on a βFox & Friendsβ episode Wednesday and began getting widespread circulation online over the weekend. Kilmeade, a host of the morning show, was talking with co-hosts Lawrence Jones and Ainsley Earhardt about the Aug. 22 stabbing murder of Iryna Zarutska on a light rail train in Charlotte, North Carolina. [π]

Jones was talking on βFox & Friendsβ on Wednesday about public money spent on trying to help homeless people and suggested that those who didnβt accept services offered to them should be jailed.
Earhardt interjected, βWhy did it have to get to this point?β
Kilmeade replied, βI will say this, weβre not voting for the right people.β
Who the fuck does this guy want to vote for? Adolf Hitler?!
β// β NEWS ROUNDUP - 9/17/2025:
In local news in my country, a few days ago Venezuela issued a threat that if the U.S. military uses Trinidad for staging military operations in Venezuela, that Venezuela will retaliate against us. In response, one of our (formerly independent) politicians who used to be anti-corruption but did a heel-turn after getting absorbed into the current (formerly corrupt and possibly currently corrupt) administration and started praising Donald Trump, decided to antagonize Venezuela and say that India would come to our rescue and - hear this shit - drop a nuclear warhead on Venezuela.
This man... went from talking some sense about corruption, to not realizing that the fallout from a nuclear attack so close to Trinidad would likely kill all of us. I guess he'll be in India, so it's fine. He also decided to bring race into it and infer that Trinidad is a majority Indo country, and that's why India will totes protect us with nukes.
I don't think he's been paying attention to world news. I don't think he realizes that U.S. President Donald Trump has antagonized and threatened, and even attacked many countries, then did a complete 180 and fucked off.
We are a dot on the world map. I can understand playing ball with Donald Trump because we have no power to do anything about anything and because we've fucked our own country so much since we gained independence that we will not survive a trade war. But how are you gonna be so fucking irresponsible to claim that America and India can/will always protect us from... LITERALLY our neighbor. [π]
In other news, from my country... remember how I said that "yuh cyah open de newspaypa witout seein' chile rape?" - that's some Trini slang for ya, I'm sure you can decode that. Anyway, I said I was uh... embellishing (is not the exact word I should be using) it a bit, but I just woke up and my brain ain't fully booted...
A 67-year-old man and his 57-year-old wife were expected in court yesterday on sexual offence charΒges after the man allegedly offered a girl βspiritual cleanΒsingβ, after which she became pregnant.
Police said the man is on two charges of sexual penetration of a child and procuring an abortion while the woman is on two charΒges of causing or inciΒting a child to engage in sexual activity.
She is jointly charged with the man with procuring an abortion.
The couple, who were arrested last Thursday in Central Trinidad, were alleged to have committed the acts in 2023 and 2024 under the guise of treating the child because she had become βpossessedβ, police said they were told.
Exorcising demons with my motherfucking dick!
It could be kinky if it was consensual and... y'know, NOT CHILD RAPE.
Do you suppose this is the first time these two have assaulted a child?
I don't think so. I has no proof, but I don't think so.
Say, I'd love to know what ethnicity they are, what religious views they hold, and what um... their political affiliations are. Does that sound like... unreasonable profiling to you?
I'm certainly not going to hold EVERYONE who intersects with their profile accountable and then call for the extermination of LITERALLY EVERYONE 'cause... y'know, that's like all men and women gone.
I did say something about cute winged dinosaur cats... π¦π¦π
In other news from America...
By FBI criteria, is this not considered YET ANOTHER MASS SHOOTING?
September 18, 2025 -- PENN LIVE PATRIOT NEWS [π]
An unknown person fatally shot three police officers and wounded two more Wednesday afternoon in York County, according to Pennsylvania State Police Col. Christopher Paris.
[...]
CNN reported late Wednesday night that police officers were on their way to arrest the shooter after a charge of stalking and criminal trespass was filed Wednesday in York County. The shooter, wearing camouflage, appeared to be lying in wait when officers arrived, sources told CNN.
The suspect ain't unknown, they're dead. Authorities are simply not sharing the details.
Oh, Jimmy Kimmel's show has been "indefinitely suspended". [π]
βWe hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang trying to characterize this kid who killed Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them,β Kimmel said during his monologue.
That's it. That's what did it.
In other news, ANTIFA is now designated a terrorist group [π], and the Trump Administration has promised to crack down on "left-wing" groups as they continue pushing the narrative that Kirk's murderer was radicalized by "the left" and planned the attack in "left-wing" Discord groups, despite providing no evidence of it (yet) [π].
I don't recall former President Joe Biden suing FOX NEWS and getting everyone fired, or y'know, going after the Proud Boys after the Capitol attack.
But hey, "They're ThOuGhT PoLiCiNg us with their TRANS AGENDA!!!!!!11111111"
It's totes not fascism. Nope! No siree, Bob!
β// β THE HERITAGE FOUNDATION WANTS TO DESIGNATE TRANS PEOPLE AND ALLIES AS TERRORISTS:
The architects of the Project 2025 agenda now want the federal government to monitor and label transgender people and those close to them as terrorists.
The Heritage Foundation urged the FBI to add a new designation to its list of domestic violent extremist groups for Transgender Ideology-Inspired Violent Extremism, falsely claiming violence from trans people and allies is increasing. [π]
βTIVE is based on the belief that violence is justified against those who do not share radical views of transgender ideology. It has led to an increasing trend of TIVE domestic terrorist events across the country,β reads a release from the organization.
Trans people make up less than a percent of mass shooters. They are much more likely to be victims of violence than perpetrators. Mass shooters tend to be cisgender men.
The new policy directive follows the killing of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, who frequently criticized transgender people and opposed their rights through his work at Turning Point USA. Prosecutors in Utah say shooting suspect Tyler Robinson was in a romantic relationship with a transgender roommate.
Transgender advocates immediately criticized the new Heritage Foundation proposal.
βHeritage Foundation has released an absolutely insane policy proposal to label all trans people as domestic terrorists. It uses completely made up instances of terrorism and made up statistics but facts don't matter to them,β Alejandra Caraballo, a Harvard law instructor and trans legal expert, posted on BlueSky. βThey want us all eradicated.β
The Heritage Foundation policy release wrongly asserts that βTIVE has played a role in the majority of mass shootings at schools.β While there have been instances of transgender individuals arrested for such shootings, including one in Minneapolis in August, research by groups like FactCheck_org found the number of transgender shooting suspects was βexceedingly small.β
Importantly, Robinson, the man suspected of killing Kirk, was not transgender, and his roommate has cooperated with police, immediately providing text messages to authorities.
The Heritage Foundation published Project 2025, a blueprint for a conservative takeover of government if Donald Trump won a second term as president. The infamous right-wing instruction manual includes numerous anti-LGBTQ initiatives.
While Trump distanced himself from the effort on the campaign trail last year, his presidency has executed many of the proposals, including issuing an executive order saying there are only two sexes and ending the collection and processing of data on gender identity.
β// β I'M JUST MUSING:
I lost a whole section of this post because the electricity pooped itself. I was just reading it over and... "Hold on, didn't I say a thing about a thing?! Catdammit!"
It included a bit about Israel and Gaza and the religious dogma at the center of it from both sides - I read, a lot.
We still have a few things to discuss concerning recent events.
The next section involves the proactive arrest of a 13-year old kid on September 9th, his arsenal of 23 rifles and handguns, and his "school shooter ideation". β‘ Done!
I also wanted to point out that for some of us, we only know the word "fascist" because of Nazi Germany. For the past [X] years, "fascism" has meant Nazism, and America has prided itself since World War 2 on being the heroes who defeated Adolf Hitler and Nazi fascism.
Now suddenly the term "anti-fascist" is being uttered as though it's hateful rhetoric against Christianity, all because folks have pointed out that Donald Trump's second rise to power and his subsequent actions mimic Adolf Hitler's rise to power and subsequent actions.
It's always the same, isn't it?
We get taught something, then when we start arguing that the things around us resemble that thing, suddenly we've got "ThE WoKe MiNd ViRuS" and our education failed us.
It's tiring.
There's one more thing I wanted to discuss.
It's the situation with "Collective Shout" and their mission to rid the world of gender-based violence by censoring videogames, media, etc., and they've figured out how to do it by getting Visa and MasterCard on-board.
Where Steam is concerned, I haven't seen a list of what was removed, but I will agree that there were some games that I think should have been moderated long before this happened, however, that doesn't take away from the fact that Visa and MasterCard having the ability to censor our media is troubling. Also, there was chatter about PAYPAL being involved somehow.
There was a new development a few days ago:
[π] Japanese Politicians Are Now Getting Involved In Steam's Censorship Saga
The Sims 4 includes mature themes, mature mods, and LGBTQIA+ representation.
β
I don't want to dedicate a section to unverified details, so I'm tossing this here.
Take all of this with a grain of salt, and remember that none of this actually matters right now.
I dunno if you've been keeping up, but the official story concerning the suspect ain't really adding up. There are contradicting details, blatant lies, apparently the "proof" that the suspect's roommate is transgender is that he likes those cute fuzzy hat-things with animal ears and he once used a makeup filter some years ago to look like an anime character - I don't fucking know because the Trump Administration is kinda incompetent at everything except bigotry and warmongering. It's what happens when you fire all the qualified people and hire your unqualified buddies.
Also, there's chatter that the "markings" that they said were trans, that they then said wasn't trans, might be memes related to another "right-wing" group.
Even if any of the shit that I've read turns out to be true, the narrative and the actions being taken are unlikely to change.
They keep saying that the so-called trans roommate who may be a boyfriend/partner is co-operating fully with the investigation, while also still vilifying the transgender community.
They don't give a fuck.
This is some of the most irresponsible and incompetent reporting I have ever seen.
So again, BE CAREFUL.

You should read these two articles:
[π] 2025 -- Charlie Kirk splits with Trump on antisemitism crackdown, warns free speech rights under attack
[π] 2025 -- Report: Charlie Kirkβs Support for Israel Was Wavering before His Death
Infowars is "right-wing", and Harrison Smith from Infowars posted the following:
Iβm not gonna name names, but I was told by someone close to Charlie Kirk that Charlie thinks Israel will kill him if he turns against them.
That was a whole month before Kirk's murder.
There was also a TELEVISED interview on FOX NEWS with another popular "right-wing" influencer who said Kirk had a falling out with Trump over Israel, and some of his financial backers were upset with him. This was AFTER his murder. I will find a link later. β‘ I mixed up my stories. The Israel thing is the articles, and the bit on FOX NEWS is Iran. See below.

Am I the only one who expected messages more like:
SUSPECT: YYEEEEEEEAAHHHH! I [REDACTED] THE M-! I AM A LEFT-WING GOD!
ROOMMATE: YOU'RE MY LEFT-WING GOD! UWUUUU!
SUSPECT: YYEEEEEEEAAHHHH!
ROOMMATE: YYEEEEEEEAAHHHH!
SUSPECT & ROOMMATE: <INSERT SOME LEFT-WING SEXUAL STUFF>
I expected messages more like every single one of the people I've quoted in this post.
I want to point out that there are religious folks (including some who "identify" as Republican) who will look at Charlie Kirk's words and say that he's twisting Christianity and making it hateful, and there are also religious folks who will say the opposite, that he's a champion for Christianity because he's speaking the word of God.
With everything else I've said about religion and the responsibility/irresponsibility of religious folks, maybe now is a good time (it's never too late) to step up, grab a fucking microphone and say something useful about the state of the world and the fascists who are using your religions to spread hate, since, I'm gonna assume that a lot of folks don't like hearing it from someone like me - and I don't mean "left-wing" or even "anti-theist", because I am not every "left-wing" person, and I am not every "anti-theist". I'm not even a saint, as I pointed out in a recent mod-post. I doubt that's gonna happen though, because now folks are afraid of getting doxxed, harassed, losing their jobs, and apparently also getting arrested, and who do we have to thank for that? No, really, who? Whooooooooo?
I suppose we can just stay the course and see where this path takes us. I mean... some folks are "FOAMING AT THE MOUTH" for it, after all.
β
I have two sources for this FOX NEWS interview with Tucker Carlson. Neither of them are directly from FOX NEWS or Tucker Carlson. You're welcome to look for a direct source.
As I said, I was mistaken. Carlson wasn't talking about the Israel, it was Iran.
One source is "left-wing" and the other is "right-wing":
Take note if you will, of the comments on both videos.
Take note of how the comments on the "right-wing" video ignore the statements in the "THEY ARE FOAMING AT THE MOUTH" section and all the doxxing that has occurred. It's OK to call for violence as long as "no violence" takes place, while demonizing the "rhetoric" on "the left".
The Capitol riot totally didn't happen, right? And that other lunatic didn't go shooting up a pizzeria because he was convinced - CONVINCED - that there was a secret basement where "the left", and Hillary Clinton, was eating children or some such rubbish [π], while ignoring all the child abuse that has occurred in religious organizations.
Have you heard the insane shit that some folks believe [π], WHILE IGNORING REAL PREDATORS. Can't do- no, no, fuck that, DON'T want to do shit about real predators, so let's make up some bogeymen instead - some bogeymen that sound like someone dreamed them up after eating too much shrooms while watching "The Shining (1980)" [π] and "Doctor Sleep (2019)" [π].
I used to really like Jim Caviezel as an actor. I loved him in Mel Gibson's "The Passion of the Christ (2004)" [π]. That was the very first time I saw Jim Caviezel. Then I watched him in every season of "Person of Interest (2011-2016)" [π] - what a fun show that was, and what a fun actor he was. I can still watch those two pieces of media, despite Mel Gibson, Jim Caviezel, and my views on religion, because as I told someone recently, I can still admire the art - we weren't really talking about media, it was more about religious iconography.
I know I am not "the left". I know not everyone on "the left" is me, but a lot of those comments is my problem with "right-wing" folks, and religious "right-wing" folks. "Hate the sin, love the sinner," and let's allow our politicians to strip them of their rights and criminalize them, then pretend that we did absolutely nothing when violence erupts. Read far enough into those comments and you'll see one individual complaining about some of their Christian friends who dared to not praise Charlie Kirk.
I could hang with those Christians, though whether or not they'd want to hang with me is a different story. πΉ
Wilford Warfstache don't take no shit from nobody. [π] πΉ
I also know that you haven't seen me rip into a "left-wing" individual yet, so it's easy to think that I am as one-sided as some "left-wing" folks. I don't talk about every single thing that happens here on this Patreon, so I'm afraid it's unlikely to happen unless it relates to our gaming or it's something like this post where there was a perceived imminent threat of mass violence.
And yes, "a perceived imminent threat of mass violence," is how I viewed those quotes up in the "FOAMING" section.
If that wasn't the intention, then maybe they shouldn't have said any of that shit.
Since mass violence doesn't appear to be happening, and it's just more persecution, and the usual fearmongering, discrimination, dehumanization, blatant lies, pretending we're saints, politely reminding folks that God thinks they're abominations deserving of violent death, etc., I suppose we can return to modding and I'll update the "EVIDENCE OVER RHETORIC" section when I notice anything new pop up.
Also, I'm making a new Collection for posts like this and the ROBLOX post, hence the little "newspaper" emoji.
This ain't the first time we've talked about a heavy topic, and it won't be the last.
I hope no one was going at each other in that comment thread. I haven't read through it yet.
If you were, I won't penalize or scold anyone this time, but I'd prefer that not be something we do here.
I'm sure we all understand what it's like to get triggered by something, or to feel personally attacked, and then feel the need to go on the defensive.
That first section is more inflammatory than it needs to be. I could have omitted my assessment of the situation, and still had someone criticize me for just repeating the vile shit that those fascist fuckers are saying.
Also yes, I know the word fascist triggers folks these days, but we had no problem referring to Nazis as fascist motherfuckers for a long time, innit?
β
"ποΈ Once I was [X] years old... and I was a different person back then. I was toxic to my first significant other."
Permit me to expand.
We were young and immature, and jealously and possessiveness and entitlement (a.k.a. toxic masculinity) allowed me to say some real nasty shit with the intent to cause emotional harm, and I did, on multiple occasions.
If I could go back, I'd smack myself in the mouth and then sit me down and try to teach me how to not be that. There was no one else back then. No male figure (or any figure whatsoever) in my life who was a better person back then, who could teach me how to manage my emotions, or respect others, or just talk about relationship stuff, or help me with my first breakup.
I had to go through that shit myself and then pull myself together.
This ain't a sob story.
This is a "I understand some of these young men" story.
The difference is, I didn't have a bunch of toxic motherfuckers preying on me and pushing me towards "male loneliness" and "Red Pill" misogyny. Thank God my bigoted father wasn't around to push me down that fucking rabbit hole, because that's where he is right now.
"I was ignorant about a lot of things."
As I've said before, "ignorance" in and of itself isn't malicious - we're all ignorant about something. It becomes malicious when it's intentional, when we damn well know better, but pretend not to. There are people in the world with learning disabilities who need special care. We ain't got no fuckin' time to waste on fools pretending!
"I was a hypocrite."
She did say I have an ego and I think I'm better than everyone else, but back then I didn't have the ability to self reflect, so it allowed me to be that toxic little shit to her even though that "damaging" empathy was there (to a lesser extent).
"I was a slipping in and out of bigotry because I was trying to fit in with the bigots and bullies around me, [...]"
Not so much racism or misogyny, but definitely homophobia.
I first learned that shit in school from my peers.
It's hard to rid yourself of it when it gets groomed into you so young - which is why they start you as young as they can get you - which is why there have been efforts to teach kids that different people are not fucking abominations!
Now and then a thought will pop into my mind, and I smash it like a Whac-A-Mole with my Thunder Hammer, because that kinda hatred is real fuckin' easy, especially when you've got "The Word of God" to fall back on.
Would you like to know how I got over it?
I'ma tellit to ya!
One day I realized I had no problem seeing two women together (male gaze objectification bullshit). In fact, I didn't have no problem with "futas" neither (nor did many of the guys I knew back then who then grew up to be transphobic little shits), so I asked myself, "What exactly is my problem with gay men being gay?", and the answer was, "NOT A FUCKIN' THING."
"Why am I trying to fit in with the same people who bully me for being mixed Chinese? To mock and bully gay guys or whomever we perceive to be gay? Hoping for what? That they'll stop bullying me?! Fuck all of this shit and fuck all of these people!"
It legitimately was that simple for me.
Sure it took some time to squash the programming, but the first step was hella easy.
And over time I allowed myself to embrace my identity and my sexuality, and I learned about the persecution that LGBTQIA+ people face, and I became an ally.
That don't mean that I won't criticize LGBTQIA+ people the same way if they fuck up and do stupid shit, like that non-binary Nazi motherfucker who went and killed two kids.
"[...] and I was lost in the mental and emotional abuse that my mother was subjecting me to."
And if I had fallen victim to all this "male loneliness", "Red Pill" nonsense, I'd probably be a raging (but sometimes totes covert) womanizing misogynist pig, like most men I know in real life who whine about women, while fucking up in various ways like emotionally stringing women along for sex, or cheating on their significant others, etc.
I'm a different person now because I don't want to be what I was back then.
And I certainly don't want to wake up one day and find that I have turned into my xenophobic, racist, abusive, toxic narcissist mother who makes the "other religious groups do it too" excuse whenever talk about the Catholic Church and child abuse comes up, or my misogynist, LGBTQIA+ hating, religious extremist, science-denying father who hoped some LGBTQIA+ people got taken out in an explosion that killed a child.
I have not been in a relationship for years, partially because of my financial situation, and partially because I am self-aware enough to know that after all the abuse I have endured and all the anger I feel because of it (the same anger that kept me and keeps me alive), that I need either significant time alone to get my head right, or I need fuckin' therapy.
I will not subject anyone to who I could become without first ridding myself of some of this mental turmoil.
I was a Golden Child when my Scapegoat sibling was around. Golden Children usually turn into their abusive parent. Apparently it's rare for us to revolt. I will not allow myself to become a "Golden" parent, subjecting my future children to the same shit. I would rather stay single and childless than continue that cycle of abuse. Fuck that shit.
My father tells me that I have all my mother's bad habits. Sure, dad, whatever you say! πΉ Then he will turn around and tell me that he doesn't know how I intend to maintain a relationship, and I'm there thinking... "NO SHIT SHERLOCK! THAT'S WHY I'M NOT IN ONE!" πΉ
It's funny. You can laugh.
This song popped into my head, and well, we discuss heavy things here, now and then. "Me" is no different.
Like MCU Steve Rogers said, "I can do this all day."
β
We now have Candice Owens, another "right-wing" influencer, talking about Charlie Kirk being threatened by pro-Israel individuals.
There's also a Megyn Kelly (another "right-wing" personality) interview with Charlie Kirk where he's talking about how he can't criticize Israel.
Do you understand why all those calls for violence haven't materialized into mass violence?
At least there are folks on "the right" who are willing to seek the truth about what really happened to Charlie Kirk.
I don't have any respect for any of these people, but I'll take what we can get.
I will look for the original video from Owens, but here's a "left-wing" source:
I will put this and the other information we've gotten from the "right-wing" in a section just below "EVIDENCE OVER RHETORIC".
Here's some religion for ya; this is what happens when you make deals with the Devil - and that's gonna be our section header: "DEALS WITH THE DEVIL".
β// β MASS SHOOTING AT MICHIGAN CHURCH:
Lets see...
No calls for civil war and righteous retribution?
Is it because the suspect was white, male, and a former U.S. Marine who served in Iraq?
He earned several awards during his four years of service, including the Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, the Iraq Campaign Medal, and the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal.
No calls to disarm all men or institutionalize all former service members? REALLY?!
A Sunday service in Grand Blanc Township, Michigan, turned into a nightmare when a gunman rammed his vehicle into a church, set the building on fire, and opened fire on congregants. At least four people have died, multiple others were critically injured, and authorities are still investigating the attack.
Police identified the suspected gunman as Thomas Jacob Sanford, 40, of Burton, Michigan, who drove a truck into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Grand Blanc Township, set it on fire and opened fire during Sunday service.
At least four people are dead, seven are in stable condition and one remains in critical condition. Two were killed by gunfire; two others were found after the fire.
The shooter, armed with what appeared to be a rifle, exchanged gunfire with officers and was killed at the scene.
The FBI is leading the case, with ATF, state, and local authorities assisting.
Leaders of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints called the violence βtragic,β urging prayer, peace, and support for victims and families.
Police said additional people may have died in the blaze, but the number has not yet been confirmed.
[...], who was a member of the church, teared up as he spoke to the Detroit Free Press. He did not attend services this morning, βI know everyone who was there,β he said.
βI don't know what God has planned for us, but I trust him. Evil is alive; it's active. People are too casual to throw out terms that inflame others, weak minds.β
You're not gonna like where I take this section.
I know of "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints".
Can you guess why?
You're gonna say that I'm being callous.
You might even accuse me of justifying the actions of the alleged white, male, former U.S. Marine perpetrator... but he endangered the lives of children, and you should know how I feel about Child Safety by now.
Shirley now is not the time to talk about the many crimes against children committed by members of "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints", is it?
Evil is alive; [...].
Keep that phrase in mind as you scroll down, and try to remember that the point I've been trying to make is that we need to start acknowledging reality, and stop living in the fabricated narrative that bigoted fascists are feeding us, while they protect and enable some of the worst fucking offenders.
[π] Sep. 28, 2025 -- Trump condemns Michigan church shooting as an attack on Christians.
"I have been briefed on the horrendous shooting that took place at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in Grand Blanc, Michigan. The FBI was immediately on scene, and will be leading the Federal Investigation, and providing full support to State and Local Officials. The suspect is dead, but there is still a lot to learn. This appears to be yet another targeted attack on Christians in the United States of America. The Trump Administration will keep the Public posted, as we always do. In the meantime, PRAY for the victims, and their families. THIS EPIDEMIC OF VIOLENCE IN OUR COUNTRY MUST END, IMMEDIATELY!"
π Do you think that President Donald J. Trump has the fucking integrity to condemn any religious organization the next time they're exposed for enabling child rapists? "In the spring of 2001, Doe reported Jamesβs abuse to his Washington bishop, Lynn Paul Seegmiller, according to a 2024 lawsuit [π] Doe filed in Montgomery County Circuit Court in Maryland against the church, Marriott and his wife, two former bishops (including Seegmiller), two former stake presidents, and another former church member.
The two spoke for more than an hour, as Doe recounted the details of Jamesβs abuse. Rather than offer help, Bishop Seegmiller dismissed Doeβs allegations by saying, βThere is not enough evidence,β despite Seegmiller not launching an investigation. In addition, he discouraged him from going to police and told him, βYou need to repent for your part in all of it,β according to the lawsuit.
Seegmiller then allegedly called Maryland church officials, enlisting their help to discourage Doe further. Bradley Hugh Colton, a bishop in Maryland, and Stephen Charles Wilcox, an educator and friend of Doeβs, both called Doe, ostensibly to βsee what Doe was up to,β without offering any support, the complaint said.
Nolan D. Archibald, a Maryland stake president, also contacted Doe, telling him, βThere is not enough evidence,β according to the suit."
[π] Sep. 18, 2025 -- New lawsuit says Mormon church covered up additional child sexual abuse by an already-convicted high priest in Seattle, Washington.
"Francis Cochran (1921 β 2005) was a Mormon high priest in the Seattle 6th Ward in Seattle, Washington in the 1980s; convicted twice in the 1980s of crimes related to sexual abuse of multiple children; allegedly assaulted multiple young girls on LDS property, including during church meetings; a 2025 lawsuit (Floodlit broke the story) said stake president Paul Diehl & multiple ward bishops covered up allegations against Cochran.
"Despite numerous red flags, Defendants continued to give High Priest Cochran access to minor church members. Defendants allowed High Priest Cochran to continue to attend and volunteer at church events, including those attended by minors. Defendants also allowed High Priest Cochran to continue to transport young girls, including vulnerable refugee girls, to and from church events." β civil complaint filed Sept. 17, 2025 (case 2:25-cv-01797)"

[π] May 8, 2025 -- LDS church agrees to βsettlement in principleβ of more than 100 sex abuse lawsuits in California.
"The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has agreed in principle to settle more than 100 childhood sexual abuse lawsuits filed against it last year across California, according to recent court filings in the cases.
[...] Among the roughly 100 plaintiffs who sued the church in separate but related lawsuits in courts across California, five alleged they were abused in San Diego County, including three who say they were sexually assaulted by their bishops, the top spiritual leaders of local congregations in the LDS church.
All of the lawsuits, some of which dealt with incidents dating back several decades, contained similar allegations that church leaders used their positions of power to groom, manipulate and abuse children. Each suit alleged sexual abuse of a minor, negligence and other related claims against the church, alleging leaders either knew or should have known about the abuse but did not act to stop it.
[...] 'The abuse of a child or any other individual is inexcusable,' a church spokesperson told the Union-Tribune in a statement earlier this year."
π Can anyone explain how a church that claims that child abuse is "inexcusable" seems to have so many church leaders accused of raping children, or why they seem to actively cover it up so much? Read the "Dec. 12, 2023" entry in its entirety.
[π] Feb. 11, 2025 -- Oregon lawsuit alleges LDS Church failed to intervene in child sex abuse case.
"Portland-based law firm Crew Janci filed the negligence lawsuit against The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the U.S. District Courtβs District Of Oregon on Tuesday. The plaintiff, identified under the pseudonym Julie Doe, alleged her 30-year-old adoptive father Craig Ford started sexually abusing her in December 2015 when she was 15 years old.
Court documents show that Ford was convicted of child molestation and related charges involving another adoptive daughter in Clark County in 2018, before being convicted of charges involving Julie Doe in Linn County years later. He has since been incarcerated, but plaintiffs are arguing the Mormon organization neglected to intervene beforehand and prevent the teenagers from being abused."
[π] Nov. 20, 2024 -- How the Church of Jesus Christ is Combating the Evils of Abuse.
"Speaking to a worldwide audience in October 2022, President and Prophet of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, President Russell M. Nelson, declared: "Abuse constitutes the influence of the adversary. It is a grievous sin.β
He continued: βAs President of the Church, I affirm the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ on this issue. Let me be perfectly clear: any kind of abuse of women, children, or anyone is an abomination to the Lord. He grieves and I grieve whenever anyone is harmed. He mourns and we all mourn for each person who has fallen victim to abuse of any kind. Those who perpetrate these hideous acts are not only accountable to the laws of man but will also face the wrath of Almighty God.β
βFor decades now, the Church has taken extensive measures to protectβin particularο»Ώβchildren from abuse. There are many aids on the Church website. I invite you to study them. These guidelines are in place to protect the innocent.β
As followers of Jesus Christ, members of His Church are focused on preventing abuse, helping victims, and reporting and addressing abuse."
π Is this the shit they tell their members... while lobbying for legal loopholes that allow them to not report cases of child rape? Fuck me, we ain't gotten to that bit yet! Don't miss the catdamn "Dec. 4, 2023" entry a bit lower. I'm regretting this descending order for news reports.
[π] March 13, 2024 -- Former Mormon bishop highlighted in AP investigation arrested on felony child sex abuse charges.
"A former bishop in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who was featured in an Associated Press investigation [π] into how the church protects itself from allegations of sexual abuse was arrested by police in Virginia this week after being indicted on charges he sexually abused his daughter while accompanying her on a school trip when she was a child, according to court filings.
Police and federal authorities had been searching for John Goodrich after a grand jury in Williamsburg on Jan. 17 found probable cause that he committed four felonies, including rape by force, threat or intimidation, forcible sodomy, and two counts of felony aggravated sexual battery by a parent of a child."
[π] Dec. 12, 2023 -- Recordings show how the Mormon church protects itself from child sex abuse claims.
"John Goodrich was arrested on charges of sexually abusing [his daughter].
[...] Audio recordings of the meetings over the next four months, obtained by The Associated Press, show how Rytting [Utah attorney and head of the churchβs Risk Management Division], despite expressing concern for what he called Johnβs 'significant sexual transgression,' would employ the risk management playbook that has helped the church keep child sexual abuse cases secret.
In particular, the church would discourage Miller [church Bishop who heard Goodrich's spiritual confession] from testifying, citing a law that exempts clergy [π] from having to divulge information about child sex abuse that is gleaned in a confession. Without Millerβs testimony, prosecutors dropped the charges, telling Lorraine that her impending divorce and the years that had passed since Chelseaβs alleged abuse might prejudice jurors.
[...] Rytting would also offer hundreds of thousands of dollars in exchange for a confidentiality agreement and a pledge by Chelsea and Lorraine to destroy their recordings of the meetings, which they had made at the recommendation of an attorney and with Ryttingβs knowledge."
[π] Dec. 4, 2023 -- Takeaways from the APβs investigation into the LDS Churchβs handling of sex abuse cases
"An earlier investigation by the AP [π] revealed that more than half the states maintain the clergy-penitent privilege, which provides a loophole for clergy who are otherwise required to report child sex abuse to police or welfare officials. As a result, some child predators who reveal their crimes to clergy in a confessional setting and do not turn themselves in to police are allowed to remain free, able to continue abusing children while presenting a danger to others.
[...] Although child welfare advocates have attempted to change or eliminate the privilege, the AP found that lobbying by religious institutions β including the Catholic Church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and the Jehovahβs Witnesses β have persuaded state legislators throughout the country to maintain the loophole. Indeed, the AP cataloged more than 100 attempts to amend or eliminate the privilege, all of which failed."
π Imagine that! Not only do these religious organizations sexually abuse kids and then try to silence them and then protect and enable the perpetrators, but they also SUCCESSFULLY lobby lawmakers to maintain a legal loophole that allows clergy members TO NOT BE FORCED TO REPORT CASES OF CHILD RAPE.
[π] Nov. 8, 2023 -- Court cites clergy-penitent privilege in dismissing child sex abuse lawsuit against LDS Church.
"An Arizona judge has dismissed a high-profile child sexual abuse lawsuit against The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, ruling that church officials who knew that a member was sexually abusing his daughter [π] had no duty to report the abuse to police or social service agencies because the information was received during a spiritual confession."
π Is it more offensive for me to say, "God bless American lawmakers who maintain legal loopholes that allow church officials to turn a blind eye to child rape," or is it more offensive that American lawmakers maintain that loophole which inevitably enables child rapists? Should we... I dunno... try to find out if those lawmakers are Democrats or Republicans? I'll do some digging. No promises.
[π] April 28, 2023 -- $2.3 billion awarded in sexual abuse case involving Mormon churchβ but they settled out months ago for $1 million.
"A woman who was molested for years by her stepfather has been awarded $2.28 billion by a California jury in a lawsuit that also implicated her mother and the local Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in which both parents were active, her attorneys announced.
[...] The lawsuit alleged that beginning in the 1980s, the stepfather sexually abused the girl. The assaults took place at their Lake Elsinore home and at events, meetings, and property of the local Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the lawsuit said.
[...] In addition to the stepfather, the negligence and sexual abuse suit also named the church and the womanβs mother. It alleged that the woman repeatedly told church officials, including local bishops, about the sexual abuse but that they failed to report it to law enforcement in violation of church policy and also used βintimidation and shaming tacticsβ to keep her from telling anyone outside the church."
[π] April 11, 2023 -- Arizona court upholds clergy privilege in child abuse case.
"The Arizona Supreme Court has ruled that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints can refuse to answer questions or turn over documents under a state law that exempts religious officials from having to report child sex abuse if they learn of the crime during a confessional setting.
The ruling was issued April 7 but not released to the public until Tuesday. A lawsuit filed by child sex abuse victims accuses the church, widely known as the Mormon church, two of its bishops, and other church members of conspiracy and negligence in not reporting church member Paul Adams for abusing his older daughter as early as 2010. This negligence, the lawsuit argues, allowed Adams to continuing abusing the girl for as many as seven years, a time in which he also abused the girlβs infant sister."
π Enabling child rapists, one lobby at a time!
[π] Aug. 21, 2022 -- Lack of LDS Church transparency in child sex abuse cases stuns AP reporter.
"Earlier this month, an Associated Press investigation of several child sex abuse cases, including a particularly horrific one in Arizona [π], revealed that the much-debated βhelp lineβ supplied by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for its lay leaders failed to protect the victims.
The expose brought responses of dismay, disgust and anger [π] from insiders and outsiders alike β and the reverberations are still being felt."
[π] Aug. 16, 2022 -- Boy Scouts walk back $250M abuse settlement with Mormon church.
"The Boy Scouts of America will attempt to exit from bankruptcy without a $250 million payment from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints after a judge refused to approve a settlement between the organizations. The settlement involved BSA protecting the Mormon church from sexual abuse claims in exchange for a $250 million contribution to the BSA settlement fund."
π Do you suppose "muh boi Russell" knew about this?
[π] Aug. 4, 2022 -- Seven years of sex abuse: How Latter-day Saint officials let it happen.
"MJ was a tiny, black-haired girl, just 5 years old, when her father admitted to his bishop that he was sexually abusing her.
[...] The father, a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and an admitted pornography addict, was in counseling with his bishop when he revealed the abuse. The lay bishop, who was also a family physician, followed church policy and called what church officials have dubbed the βhelp lineβ for guidance.
[...] But the call offered little help for MJ. Lawyers for the church, widely known as the Mormon church, who staff the help line around the clock told Bishop John Herrod not to call police or child welfare officials. Instead he kept the abuse secret.
[...] βThey said, βYou absolutely can do nothing,ββ Herrod said in a recorded interview with law enforcement. Herrod continued to counsel MJβs father, Paul Douglas Adams, for another year, and brought in Adamsβ wife, Leizza Adams, in hopes she would do something to protect the children. She didnβt. Herrod later told a second bishop, who also kept the matter secret after consulting with church officials who maintain that the bishops were excused from reporting the abuse to police under the stateβs so-called clergy-penitent privilege.
Adams continued raping MJ for as many as seven more years, into her adolescence, and also abused her infant sister, who was born during that time. He frequently recorded the abuse on video and posted the video on the internet.""
[π] Jan. 8, 2020 -- Turner woman sues Mormon church for $10 million for disclosing husband's child sex abuse.
"A Turner woman is suing the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for $9.54 million after her husband's confession to church leaders led to his arrest, conviction and imprisonment on child sexual abuse charges.
The lawsuit, which accuses local church leaders of violating confidentiality and the "priest-penitent privilege," contrasts sharply with other cases accusing the church claiming the exact opposite β failing to report abuse to authorities and treating sex abuse like a sin instead of a crime.
The lawsuit, filed in Marion County Circuit Court, involves a Turner man convicted of abuse after he confessed to Stayton clergy that he had repeated sexual contact with a minor.
[...] "It's been devasting on the family," Brandt said. "They lost a husband and a father."
[...] Timothy Samuel Johnson and his wife Kristine Johnson were members of a Stayton ward when his wife learned he had "engaged in inappropriate conduct" with a minor known to him, according to the lawsuit.
[...] Brandt also said church leaders represented "that whatever the scope of Mr. Johnson's evil transgressions, the Church and its clergy will spiritually counsel Mr. Johnson to bring peace within his life and family.""
π In this instance in 2020, "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints" actually put the victim first. I see this as an absolute win! <SCROLLS UP> ... Then they, along with the Catholic Church and Jehovah's Witnesses lobbied American lawmakers to maintain a loophole that allows church officials to turn a blind eye to child rape, because how dare we break up this happy family, with this loving, child-raping, father and husband.
[π] June 29, 2019 -- Families speak out against the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints over sex abuse allegations.
"The following report was put together by reviewing trial testimony and court documents, and interviewing multiple plaintiffs who were involved in a lawsuit against the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints. The plaintiffs in that lawsuit alleged that the Church and several Church officials failed to take steps to protect the plaintiff's children from a teenager who was ultimately convicted of sexually abusing two young children.
The Church told ABC News in a statement, "These allegations are false, offensive, and unsubstantiated. As soon as Church leaders learned of abuse by this individual, they encouraged the parents of the abused children to report to West Virginia police and confirmed the report."
The lawsuit was settled for an undisclosed payment in 2018."
π Do you really believe these allegations from 2018 were "false, offensive, and unsubstantiated", or were church officials LYING THROUGH THEIR FUCKING TEETH in order to protect the church's image?
[π] July 16, 2018 -- What Happens When Mormon Leaders Treat Child Sexual Abuse As A Sin, Not A Crime.
"As stories of child sexual abuse continue to emerge from the Mormon community, one theme has been consistent: many leaders in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints treat abuse primarily as a sin that can be overcome, rather than a crime. It's a perspective that critics say can be problematic.
When one of the LDS Churchβs top leaders, apostle Ulisses Soares, was asked about how the Church handles abuse [π] in an interview last month with KUER, his response was in line with Church policy.
βWhen it comes to light, the Church acts and tries to help and support the one who has been abused and the one who has abused," Soares said."
π Shall we take a look at how "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints" treats transgender people? Yes. Stay tuned.
[π] April 1, 2018 -- Settlement reached in suit alleging Mormons overlooked abuse.
"A civil trial that started in January in West Virginia has ended in an undisclosed settlement in a lawsuit accusing The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and local church officials of covering up years of sexual abuse by one man.
[...] Plaintiffs contended the Mormon Church and others knew about 26-year-old member Christopher Michael Jensenβs sexual abuse convictions and allegations but βdid nothing to warn and protectβ their children.
The lawsuit was filed in 2013 by plaintiffs who say they were abused by Jensen when they were between the ages of 3 and 12. Jensen was sentenced in 2013 to 35 to 75 years in prison for sexually abusing two children, ages 3 and 4. Jensenβs father, Chris Jensen, testified in February that no one told him about those allegations until an August 2012 hearing when his son was charged.
Allegations against Christopher Michael Jensen dated back to 2004, when he was arrested at age 13 at his middle school and charged with two felony counts of sexual abuse against two girls, according to court documents. The lawsuit alleged several church members were made aware of abuse incidents multiple times but either did not believe the abused or kept the abuse a secret.
[...] The church denied the claims. Defendants said Christopher Michael Jensen fooled everyone and repeatedly lied to church officials.""
I don't know what God has planned for us, but I trust him. Evil is alive; [...]
I don't trust whatever fucking "God" he's referring to, and I Shirley don't trust the "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints" with children.
Evil is indeed alive, and it hides in religious organizations, and it exploits and abuses your children, and it convinces you to shut your fucking mouth, have faith, and blame the horrid transgender people.
Do you feel persecuted yet?
If yes, and with all of those articles in mind - and all of the other articles specifically involving Mormons listed on FLOODLIT_org [π] that I omitted, and the articles specifically involving Mormons that aren't listed on FLOODLIT_org, that I didn't include or haven't found yet - do you think that feeling of persecution is rational?
Perhaps it's my anger that's rational. The anger I feel when I watch religious folks fearmonger about LGBTQIA+ people (or turn a blind eye to the fearmongering in fear of being ostracized), while turning a blind eye to their own religious organizations.
Perhaps you should demand better from your religious organizations, and I don't mean more flowery words - I mean real action, like an end to lobbying for loopholes that allow church clergy to not have to report instances of child rape.
How about that?
Is that too much to ask?
Is that too much to ask of the people and the organizations who claim to care about the safety of children?
Should we not focus on "short-term solutions" to end child abuse, and "instead focus on the Kingdom of Heaven"?
That was a quote from my local Catholic Archbishop, in response to a human rights agreement proposed by the EU some time ago (which included other things like equity and equality and equal protections under the law and comprehensive sex education and women's rights and LGBTQIA+ rights, etc.). He was vehemently against it. Equal rights for LGBTQIA+ people... and abortion?! You must be insane! Those things "are an affront to 'God' and our way of life in the Caribbean."
Let's see what "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints" says about transgender folks.
[π] What is the Churchβs position on transitioning?
"Those who feel their inner sense of gender does not align with their biological sex at birth β¦ often face complex challenges. Theyβand their family and friendsβshould be treated with sensitivity, kindness, compassion, and Christlike love.
Worthy individuals who do not pursue surgical, medical, or social transition away from their biological sex at birth may enjoy all the privileges of Church membership.
Church leaders counsel against pursuing surgical, medical, or social transition away from oneβs biological sex at birth. (Social transitioning means intentionally identifying and presenting oneself as other than oneβs biological sex at birth, and may include changing dress, grooming, names, or pronouns.) Leaders advise that taking these actions will result in some Church membership restrictions. These restrictions include receiving or exercising the priesthood, receiving or using a temple recommend, and serving in some Church callings.
Members who have taken steps to transition and then transition back to their biological sex at birth and are worthy and committed to keeping Godβs commandments may enjoy all the privileges of Church membership."
π Such nice, flowery words... that somehow remind you that you ain't "normal" if you embrace your transgender identity. Oh, and "the Church does not take a position on the causes of these feelings", because to do so would require acknowledging science.
[π] Sep. 28, 2025 -- Dallin Oaks: A New Era for the LDS Church.
"Dallin H. Oaks, a former lawyer and Utah Supreme Court justice, is on the brink of leading the LDS Church. With a career steeped in legal expertise and a commitment to religious principles, Oaks is poised to navigate the complex landscape of modern faith while addressing pressing social issues, particularly those involving the LGBTQ+ community. His ascent to leadership is not just about filling a position; itβs about redefining the churchβs role in contemporary society.
[...] Oaks has built a reputation as a fierce defender of religious freedom, emphasizing the importance of protecting the rights of individuals to practice their beliefs without interference.
[...] While Oaks is a strong advocate for traditional male-female marriage, his willingness to engage with LGBTQ+ topics signals a potential shift in the LDS Churchβs approach to these discussions. Oaks understands that the churchβs teachings must resonate with a younger, more diverse membership that values inclusivity and acceptance. His leadership will likely reflect a nuanced understanding of both doctrine and the realities faced by LGBTQ+ individuals within the faith.
[...] His track record suggests that he will not shy away from addressing difficult conversations, which could foster a more open dialogue within the church. This might lead to a re-examination of policies and teachings that have historically marginalized LGBTQ+ members, creating a space for healing and understanding.
[...] The LDS Church is at a crossroads, facing declining membership among younger generations who often prioritize inclusivity and social justice."
π Shirley that declining membership has absolutely nothing to with the child rape and the cover-ups, right? I know that there are religious folks out there who see their peers doing shit and are conflicted. Don't let the peer pressure get to you. Someone needs to stand up and actually protect the children.
[π] July 22, 2025 -- God Doesnβt Make Mistakes: Embracing a Trans Affirming Faith in the LDS Church.
π Whoa, child! They lay the pandering on thick! Keep reading.
[π] Aug. 26, 2024 -- LGBTQ Advocates Say Mormon Churchβs New Transgender Policies Marginalize Trans Members
"The policy now states that members who have transitioned in any way β whether that transition is social, medical, or surgical β cannot stay at youth camps overnight and may only use single-occupancy restrooms at church meetinghouses. Alternatively, a βtrusted personβ must be stationed outside the restroom to keep others from entering when a transgender person uses a restroom that aligns with their personal gender identity.
The latest edition of the General Handbook while defining and reaffirming gender as oneβs biological sex at birth, also states that the faith does not βtake a position on the causes ofβ gender dysphoria.
[...] Church spokesperson Doug Andersen pointed to a statement released by the denomination, which says the updated guidelines were issued βto help local leaders minister more effectively to individuals who identify as transgender and their families.β"
π Toilet chaperones are meant "to help local leaders minister more effectively to" transgender folks? Sure. Whatever you say, John.
"LGBTQ+ advocates within the faith say these stringent guidelines further marginalize transgender people who already feel like outsiders in church. [...], a transgender woman who was excommunicated in 2017 after she transitioned, said the new guidelines make it challenging for people like her to keep the faith.
βIt implies that a trans member is somehow a danger to others,β she said. βItβs dehumanizing and far too toxic to handle for members who are still in the process of reconciling their gender identity with their faith.β
The new guidelines surfaced even as the denomination, over the past decade-plus, has tried to stake out a more compassionate approach on LGBTQ+ issues while reaffirming its doctrinal opposition to intimacy between people in same-sex relationships."
π I dunno, Ms. [...]. It all sounds like they were happy to pander to transgender folks when transgender folks were recognized as real people, but the times they are a-changing again, innit? Nowadays, open hostility to transgender folks is acceptable, and labeling them as terrorists and child groomers is the norm.
[π] Aug. 26 2024 -- Mormon Church cracks down on trans members, may group them with child abusers.
"βTrans members will also face possible annotation on their membership records, grouping them with churchgoers who have committed incest, sexual predatory behavior, sexual violence against children and embezzlement of church funds,β NBC News reports [π]."
π THAT'S MORE LIKE IT! Do you suppose this will change under Dallin Oaks? Did you, by chance, forget which religious organization we've been discussing?
[π] Jan. 12, 2024 -- New LDS Communications Director Supports Pride and Pronouns.
"All right put your seat Bel on this is an Edge of the Sword episode [...]"
π I thought this was an article, but it's a "raw transcript" of a YouTube video and the website is... is there a big ad that uBlock Origin is blocking?! Anyway! "DIS IS SPARTA!" is a catchy intro. Is that like a catchphrase?
"[...] We can't put our heads in the sand on these things because they're going to be talked about, and they're going to be talked about with our friends, they're going to be talked about with our kids, and if you are not ahead of these things, you're going to be ambushed. We do not live in a time where you can just say well 'I'm going to put my head in the sand and all is well in Zion". We live in a time where you've got to study the scriptures, you've got to hang on to the iron rod because the Mists of Darkness are thickening."
π "The Mists of Darkness" and "The Iron Rod"... sound very kinky. Sorry. πΉ But also, I feel like he's referring to "ThE TrAnS AgEnDa!!!!!!1111".
"You want an outreach to the LGBT community. That's very important. The question is, is do you reach out to different groups like this and support what they're doing at the same time? Do you hijack the doctrine of the family in order to [offer] love and tolerance and [blah, blah, blah]. So does this go along with the doctrine of the family? Does this go along with the family proclamation? Of course it doesn't."
π SEE?! "Of course it doesn't." Do I need to quote "God's Word" again in order to remind you which scriptures he's pulling from? Do I need to talk about "Biblical marriage" again? Shirley there's more we can talk about where "Biblical marriage" is concerned. I only highlighted one "problematic" passage. There are more.
[π] Feb. 19, 2020 -- LDS Church defines what transgender members can and cannot do in new handbook policy.
"βThe transgender policy states that everyone is welcome to attend our meetings and we should create a warm welcoming environment for all, including persons who identify as transgender,β Perkins said. βAt the same time, the policy clarifies that some things in the church are gender-specific.β
According to the policy, transgender people can be baptized, confirmed, take part in sacrament and receive priesthood blessings.
However, when it comes to priesthood ordination or temple ordinances, the church said it will be based on the gender assigned at birth.
In the policy, the church also counsels against sex reassignment surgeries and social transitioning β individuals who do so would face βchurch membership restrictionsβ including the ability to receive priesthood, a temple recommend and some church callings.
The policy also states transgender members may be called by their preferred name in their ward."
[π] April 4, 2019 -- In Major Shift, LDS Church Rolls Back Controversial Policies Toward LGBT Members.
"The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced on Thursday that it was reversing its controversial 2015 policy that [π] classified people in same-sex marriages as "apostates." The church, widely known as the Mormon church, had also barred the children of such marriages from blessing or baptism until age 18.
The change was attributed to President Dallin Oaks, and the church said it was intended to "help affected families" and "to reduce the hate and contention so common today.""
π Old Oak been around for a while, huh? He's apparently 93 years-old! Old Oak been around throughout all of those child rape cases, and apparently has never said a thing about them publicly*, but he sure likes pandering to queer folks [π]. I was kinda hoping that I'd find something - even one fucking sentence condemning the child rape, but it's all queer pandering with this guy.
I want to highlight a piece of legislation concerning all of this, to point out how "religious freedom" trumps Child Safety every fucking time.
[π] May 8, 2025 -- New Law Requires Priests to Break Seal of Confession to Report Child Abuse.
"The state law, in Washington, applies to all religions but has outraged Catholics in particular. The Justice Department is investigating.
The secrecy of the confessional in the Roman Catholic Church is so sacrosanct that any priest who violates it is automatically excommunicated.
In Washington State, a new law requiring clergy to break the seal when child abuse has been revealed has kindled a heated battle involving the state, the Roman Catholic Church and the Justice Department.
The legislation, signed into law last week by Gov. Bob Ferguson, a Democrat, requires members of the clergy to report child abuse or neglect to authorities, even if that knowledge arises during the sacrament of confession. It has outraged many Catholics in the state, and across the country.
βThis law is a clear intrusion into the practice of our Catholic faith,β said Archbishop Paul D. Etienne of Seattle. βThe state is now intruding into the practice of religion, and if theyβre allowed to get away with that, where do we draw the line?β
The Justice Department apparently agrees. On Monday, the department announced it was opening a civil rights investigation into the law, which it called βanti-Catholic.β The investigation will focus on the lawβs βapparent conflictβ with religious freedom under the First Amendment.
[...] A similar bill in California was withdrawn by its sponsor in 2019 after a backlash, including from critics who pointed out that it would be difficult to enforce. The Vatican also appeared to weigh in, releasing a document in the run-up to the California vote emphasizing that the secrecy of confession is an βintrinsic requirementβ of the sacrament.
President Trump has made βeradicating anti-Christian biasβ a priority for the Justice Department. In April, Harmeet Dhillon, the head of the departmentβs civil rights division, rewrote a mission statement [π] for the division to prioritize investigations into issues including anti-Christian bias and transgender womenβs participation in sports, a sharp shift for an agency known for decades for its work on racial equality."
π Do you understand the fucking problem yet?
β
Would it be highly irresponsible of me to highlight some dots?
Sep. 10, 2025 -- Charlie Kirk is assassinated at Utah Valley University.
Sep. 10, 2025 -- Before even having a suspect in custody, "right-wing" media and Republican politicians, including the President of the United States of America, unanimously cast blame on "trans ideology" and "left-wing radicalization", and call for righteous retribution and civil war.
Sep. 12, 2025 -- Tyler Robinson is arrested and charged with Kirk's murder. He was allegedly raised Mormon in a MAGA Republican family, though I will acknowledge that just because his family are MAGA Republicans, it don't necessarily mean he was. My bigoted, religious extremist father who wishes death on LGBTQIA+ people, is a Trump-supporter, and I am not.
Despite the dehumanization seen in their "handbook", "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints" has been publicly pandering to LGBTQIA+ folks for years, and the man expected to take over has been personally pandering to LGBTQIA+ folks for years.
Sep. 28, 2025 -- Former U.S. Marine, Thomas Jacob Sanford "drove his truck into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Grand Blanc, Michigan, before firing shots and setting the building on fire."
There's not enough information to connect those dots yet, and the little information we have so far, says the guy is a war veteran with a special needs son.
We need not drag his alleged political affiliations into this discussion yet.
But I would like to reiterate that he's white, male, apparently cis-gender, and a former U.S. Marine, with a wife and a kid - in other words, he's "An All-American Family Man"... who appears to have been struggling with his kid's medical bills, because unlike Israel, the United States of America refuses to give their citizens "Universal Health Care".
I guess none of that fits into the "right-wing" anti-trans narrative, innit?
I'm curious about some things...
Donald Trump refers to this latest mass shooting as "an attack on Christianity".
What do you suppose he considers the crimes against children committed by multiple members of "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints"?
Is it worth the mass rape of children, to have the God-given right to "the sacrament of confession"?
Can you imagine a society where we allow child rapists to unburden themselves of their guilt and shame, without also holding them responsible for their actions or ensuring that they aren't allowed to harm more children?
You don't have to imagine it, because it's the reality we've been living in, whether or not you've noticed it or are willing to acknowledge it.
It's the reality that religious organizations have successfully lobbied elected officials for.
And who elects those officials? Who empowers them? Is "We, the People".
Stick with me, kid.
I'll ruin the fascist narrative for you... if you can stomach reality.
β// β I'M ANTI-THEIST; LET'S TALK AMISH:
This is a disgusting post and I pray you think about removing it.
This was said in response to that "first" section where I highlighted the many calls for violent retribution by "right-wing" politicians and personalities, including a few influential so-called Christians. It was the only section available at the time.
In effect, shying away from these discussions (and by extension, not demanding better from our religious leaders and politicians), enables child rapists. We understand that, right?
NOT TALKING ABOUT IT, HASN'T STOPPED IT.
RELIGION HASN'T STOPPED IT.
GOD HASN'T STOPPED IT.
Let's talk about Mary... in ascending order.
There's a video interview on YouTube for this one, and if you scroll through the comments, you'll see a familiar name. Is me, being me. I been me for a while.
You'll also see a response to my comment from Mary.
I get that these aren't topics that everyone has the stomach for, but I do.
The "unhinged" anger on display when I talk about topics like child rape, allows me to wade through this filth when others might turn away in disgust, or shy away in fear of what others might think about them for talking about it.
I have not been through half of the shit Mary has been through, but if she is capable of talking about her shit, then who the fuck am I to turn away in disgust, or shy away in fear, when I could help shine a light on it instead, in the hope that maybe one day we can wake up enough people and effect meaningful change.
I pray that one day we are all "WoKe" to this shit, because that's the only way we will have any chance of stopping it... unless, y'know, all those "good" religious folks finally stand up and take over their religious organizations and weed out the child predators and child rape enablers.
Oh, how I wish I could wake up tomorrow and find that overnight, religious organizations became the beacons of moral righteousness and love and tolerance they pretend to be, instead of the filthy stinkin' rich, tax-exempt organizations that lobby corrupt politicians to ensure the law doesn't force them to report child rape, that they currently are. Yes, I am going to hammer this shit repeatedly, because it ain't something you should ever forget.
There are evil people everywhere.
The least we can do is to not enable them with our unwillingness to acknowledge reality, while indulging in fascist, bigoted narratives.
[π] Aug. 28, 2006 -- Sexual Abuse in the Amish Community
"Some 90 percent of children raised Amish choose to stay in the community. But one who did not is 22-year-old Mary Byler.
"I would read books and I'd imagine. I had a great imagination that would take me to faraway places, you know, places where I was afraid I would never be, but wanted to be," she told "20/20's" Elizabeth Vargas.
Mary says she'd use those fantasies as an emotional escape from what she says was her horrible reality -- a childhood and adolescence of sexual assault and rape.
"If somebody was raping me, I'd look up to the ceiling, count the blocks or count the cracks in the wall, or just I was completely not there emotionally. I would have committed suicide many times over if I [wasn't] strong," she said.
Through the years, by Mary's account, she was raped by several different attackers. But one abused her more often than the others -- her brother Johnny. Johnny, one of Mary's eight brothers, began assaulting her when he was 12 and she was 6. The assaults continued into her teen years, she said.
"I couldn't go to the outhouse because there was always somebody waiting there. I couldn't go anywhere alone. There was just no place I could be alone," she said.
As time passed, another brother, Eli, followed suit.
"He'd rape me down in the milk house when I was cleaning up the milk house. He'd rape me down in the barn," she said.
The violence in Mary's family began with the head of it -- a stepfather who, she says, continually beat both Mary and her brothers.
"He hit them with shovels and hacksaws, fists, halters, anything and everything he could get his hands on," she said."
[π] May 27, 2022 -- 'First Perpetrator Was My Biological Father': Inside an Amish Sex Abuse Survivor's Quest for Justice
""My first perpetrator was my biological father," Mary Byler, 39, recounts. "I was five."
Mary is the lead subject of Peacock's new true crime series Sins of the Amish [π], where she opens up about the trauma she endured in the insular community.
"It's a predator's paradise," she says in part one of the documentary, during which it's revealed she [was] sexually abused by her father, who died when she was a small child, and three of her siblings: Johnny, Eli and David.
"I remember not being safe in my room from my own f------ brother," Mary says.
Speaking exclusively to PEOPLE, Mary β now an advocate for Amish and ex-Amish abuse victims through her organization Misfit Amish β says it's her mission to eliminate the "romanticized view" of the Amish culture, as well as provide support and resources for survivors of cults and conservative sectarian religious groups. She believes that in the Amish community, women are largely silenced, and it's too dangerous to speak out.
"If somebody is an abuser, you're supposed to forgive him," Mary explains to PEOPLE of her strict, religious upbringing. "There's no space for you to even process what happened to you."
But, it wasn't until she learned her brother David had reportedly chosen his next victim β their younger sister, and that their mother would do nothing to put a stop to it, that Mary decided that was the last straw.
"It literally f------ killed me," she says of the moment she learned of the sexual abuse in 2004.
"She [her mother] told her [little sister], 'You have to forgive;' and that means you don't talk about it, and you can't tell anybody about it. And it clicked, that if I don't do anything, my sister is gonna grow up and have the exact same hell [in] her childhood, as I did," Mary says in Sins of the Amish.
Mary did what she says most Amish abuse survivors are too scared to do: She alerted authorities at the Vernon County Sheriff's Office, where they outfitted her with a wire in hopes of capturing an audio confession from the Byler brothers.
While visiting Johnny at his farm, Mary got what she needed for deputies to make an arrest: his confession that he sexually abused her.
Since Johnny, Ely and David all pleaded guilty to sex crimes, the case against the brothers never went to trial, according to investigator Don Henry. Their mother, Sally Kempf, pleaded no contest to failure to report a crime in connection with the sex abuse, the Lacrosse Tribune reported [π].
"That's 11 years of hell," Henry said of the abuse Mary suffered from the age of 6 through 17.
As Mary pulled back the curtain to unveil the culture of sexual abuse, her former community β and family members β rallied behind her abusers and shunned her, she says.
Because of this, she says she now keeps in touch with very "few extended family members."
Now, through her Misfit Amish blog and podcast, and by providing resources and literature to survivors, Mary hopes to shed light on the problem."
π I have a lot of respect for survivors who are able to speak up. I also have a lot of empathy for those who can't. I don't have any respect for abusers and child rapists or the people who enable them, and to be quite honest, I don't have much respect for folks who will criticize folks "like me" for having the fucking audacity "to shed light on the problem." Where these topics are concerned, I don't care about anyone's feelings. We have allowed this shit to fester and spread everywhere.
[π] May 25, 2022 -- Where Are Johnny, Eli, and David Byler Now?
"Johnny, Eli, and David Byler were born and raised in an orthodox Amish community and had five more brothers as well as two sisters, Mary and a younger one. When Mary was 4, her father began molesting her, but it ended when he died in a buggy accident the following year. However, when the family moved from Viroqua, Wisconsin, to Sugar Grove, Pennsylvania, her older cousins began molesting her. Not just that, Johnny started abusing her as well, when he was around 12 and she was 6.
Subsequently, Eli joined his elder brother in sexually assaulting Mary. According to her, the former would rape her in the milk house and the barn on their family property. On the other hand, Johnny continued to rape her countless times well into her teens. When she would lock her roomβs door, Mary said he would climb in through the window or even take off the doorβs hinges. As per Mary, once both her brothers attacked her together, and unfortunately, she was overpowered.
This horrible ordeal became a way of life in the household, and Mary tried informing her mother, Sally, about the abuse. βYou donβt fight hard enough and you donβt pray hard enoughβ¦Every time I would talk about this she would say that they have already confessed in church and youβre just being unforgiving,β said Mary [π]. Not just that, her stepfather William Kempf was rather physically abusive toward all the children and used to regularly beat them up. Furthermore, her continuous pleas to her mother to not leave her alone with the boys were left ignored.
Johnny and Eli kept abusing Mary for 11 years, up till she turned 17. Thatβs when she began suspecting that their younger sister was being abused by their brother David, who was in his late teens at that time. Sadly, the young girl received a similar response from Sally as her older sister and was told to keep quiet about it and forgive her brother. This became the tipping point for Mary, as she did not want her kid sister to suffer the same fate as her.
[...] Johnny Byler, then-25-year-old, admitted to raping Mary more than 200 times, while Eli admitted to raping her around 15 to 16 times. After pleading guilty to two counts of second-degree sexual assault of a child, Johnny was sentenced [π] to one year in county jail with work release during the day, along with additional 10 years of probation. More than 100 Amish community members shockingly came to support him in the courtroom during his hearing. In his statement, Johnny apologized to Mary for causing her irreparable damage and to his community for bringing them shame.
Surprisingly, no Amish member supported Mary, as they reportedly felt that Johnny had already been punished adequately by being temporarily shunned by the church, as per their communityβs customs. On the other hand, Eli and David were arrested [π] while trying to flee the state, and the former pleaded guilty to one count of second-degree sexual assault of a child and felony bail jumping. Eli was given an 8-year prison term, while David, then-18, who pleaded guilty to second-degree sexual assault of a child, was sentenced to four years in prison.
As per the documentary, Eli returned to the Amish community in Sugar Grove after his release and continues to live there in the old family house. Johnny got married and has children, and it is possible that he and David are continuing their Amish lifestyle, as they stay away from the limelight as well as the outside world. However, they could be living in other areas of the Plain Community as well. Meanwhile, Mary has long left the community and is thriving as an advocate for other child sexual abuse survivors."
π Johnny admitted to raping his own sister over (200) times, and all he got was "(1) year in county jail with work release during the day, along with additional (10) years of probation", and the support of his community and other family members. It reminds me of that - was he a pastor - who raped that girl then apologized to his congregation (20) years later (only after she talked about it) and received a standing ovation [π]. Shirley- <INHALES AND SIGHS>
Y'know what? Fuck it. It's fucking disgusting.
This is all fucking disgusting and degenerate, and these motherfuckers have the audacity to demonize LGBTQIA+ people by projecting their own degenerate filth onto them to the point of inciting violence against them, and so many of us are willing to sit by and do fuck all and say fuck all?!
It's happening right now in America and the UK, and so many other countries, and it's been happening for so long, and so many of us are and have been willing to sit by and do fuck all.
No wonder there's so much child rape and child abuse and child grooming literally everywhere. We don't do fuck all about anything, innit?
Do I sound unhinged yet?
Yes?
Good.
I pray we're all unhinged one day where this topic is concerned, 'cause maybe then we'd actually protect the fucking children, instead of just yapping about it endlessly.

Who's next?
Shall I write the names on bits of paper and put them in a bowl, shake them up, and pull one?
The fascists are escalating, so I'm going to exhaust the list.
It'll take some time, but we'll get it done in-between the modding.
We can totes have "normal" / "less unhinged" discussions about any of this (or anything else) outside of this post - I am not uncivil - but that ain't what's gonna happen in this post.
I am just going to lay into everyone, while also highlighting any critical developments from the news that I happen to notice, because while we sit here clutching our feelings and ideologies, it's getting worse out there.
They are passing laws that will give them the power to do anything to anyone who doesn't agree with them or get in line and shut the fuck up.
If you support this shit, then you should include a prayer in your... prayers, that one day they don't turn those laws on you, because by that time, it's unlikely that any of us will be around to help you - and I don't mean in the sense that we'll see you suffering and not help; I mean in the sense that we'll probably all be dead.
I'm not afraid of death. I'm afraid of being powerless to do anything while the world burns.
"The left" didn't radicalize me. Child abuse (in general, and my own) radicalized me.
When we're done, I'm going to add this post and the ROBLOX post to that list in my "ANNOUNCEMENTS" post so that there's never any confusion about who I am or where I stand on these matters.
I've said before that I'm always afraid when I start a post like this (a rant, not specifically a "Bruno" post), that I'll lose the plot and make an arse of myself.
I ain't done that yet.
'Cause y'know, at least I ain't ever defended a genocide or a child predator. β

β// β TEXAS AG KEN PAXTON:
October 07, 2025 -- OFFICE OF THE ATTORNEY GENERAL [π]
AttorΒney GenΒerΒal Ken PaxΒton LaunchΒes UnderΒcovΒer OperΒaΒtions to InfilΒtrate and Uproot LeftΒist TerΒror Cells in Texas After Increased PolitΒiΒcal Violence
In response to the political assassination of national hero Charlie Kirk and the disturbing rise of leftist violence across the country, Attorney General Ken Paxton has launched undercover investigations into various groups affiliated with left-wing political violence known to be operating in Texas.
βLeftist political terrorism is a clear and present danger. Corrupted ideologies like transgenderism and Antifa are a cancer on our culture and have unleashed their deranged and drugged-up foot soldiers on the American people,β said Attorney General Paxton. βThe martyrdom of Charlie Kirk marks a turning point in America. There can be no compromise with those who want us dead. To that end, I have directed my office to continue its efforts to identify, investigate, and infiltrate these leftist terror cells. To those demented souls who seek to kill, steal, and destroy our country, know this: you cannot hide, you cannot escape, and justice is coming.β
The radical Left has incubated an environment where political violence is not only justified but celebrated and praised. In July, nearly two dozen armed leftists connected to various Texas-based Antifa-like groups ambushed an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (βICEβ) facility in Alvarado, Texas. On September 10, 2025, a leftist assassin connected to the radical transgender movement murdered Charlie Kirk because of Kirkβs bold support for truth, love of country, and unshakable faith. Two weeks later, another deranged leftist opened fire at an ICE facility in Dallas.
President Donald Trump has officially designated Antifa as a domestic terrorist organization and instructed his administration to βutilize all applicable authorities to investigate, disrupt, and dismantle any and all illegal operations β especially those involving terrorist actions β conducted by Antifa.β Building on President Trumpβs bold actions, Attorney General Paxton has instructed his office to initiate sweeping investigations into radical leftist organizations engaged in or providing support to those performing political violence.
Does that... sound a bit unhinged to you?
In response to the political assassination of national hero Charlie Kirk [...]
Charlie Kirk was a grifting piece of shit who was being PAID by Israel to whitewash Israel's genocide in Gaza. IT IS ALLEGED that nearing the end of his life, maybe his morals started getting to him, or maybe he was just losing support because of his continued support of Israel.
[...] and the disturbing rise of leftist violence across the country [...]
Like that mass shooting at that church that's always embroiled in child abuse scandals?
ALLEGEDLY the perpetrator was Christian, and a Trump supporter.
[...] Corrupted ideologies like transgenderism and Antifa are a cancer on our culture [...]
I'd say that RELIGIOUS ORGANIZATION ACROSS THE WORLD HAVING THE "RELIGIOUS FREEDOM" TO NOT HAVE TO REPORT CHILD ABUSE AND CHILD RAPE IS THE REAL FUCKING CANCER, INNIT?
There can be no compromise with those who want us dead.
He's just gonna keep fearmongering.
The radical Left has incubated an environment where political violence is not only justified but celebrated and praised.
You mean like those Democrats who were murdered in their homes, then had their murder mocked by a Republican politician, then had their murder ignored by the President of the United States in his statement on "political violence"?
On September 10, 2025, a leftist assassin connected to the radical transgender movement murdered Charlie Kirk because of Kirkβs bold support for truth, love of country, and unshakable faith. Two weeks later, another deranged leftist opened fire at an ICE facility in Dallas.
No ICE agents were targeted in that attack, and they have produced NO FUCKING EVIDENCE THAT "a leftist assassin connected to the radical transgender movement" murdered Charlie Kirk.
They lied and said the memes were "transgender ideology".
They continue to blame "the left" WITHOUT PROVIDING A SHRED OF EVIDENCE.
We don't even know if the "transgender" roommate/partner even actually exists.
But this deranged lunatic is out here... on October 6th, which is almost a month after the FBI had to walk back their "transgender ideology" bullshit, blatantly lying to the public, omitting facts, and fearmongering about transgender people.
Notice he ain't mentioned the LDS Church shooting by the veteran?
Notice he ain't mentioned the other mass shooting committed by the other veteran around the same time?
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is the same man who has opened investigations (plural) into hospitals while claiming they're performing illegal gender-affirming surgeries on children.
Apparently, none of those investigations have not exposed any illegal gender-affirming surgeries yet, or they'd be all over the news, innit?
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is the same man who has been accused on numerous times of corruption and abusing his office.
How the criminal case against Texas AG Ken Paxton abruptly ended after nearly a decade of delays.
The criminal case against Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton on securities fraud charges has ended after nine years β a span during which the Republican was reelected twice, impeached and acquitted, and emerged more politically powerful [π] than ever.
He will stay in office and must pay nearly $300,000 in restitution under an agreement [π] announced in a Houston courtroom Tuesday. The deal with special prosecutors abruptly ends the long-running saga, which at one time threatened Paxtonβs rising political fortunes and could have sent him to prison, but later came to underline his resilience within the GOP.
The trial had been scheduled to start in April, putting Paxton closer than ever to finally having his day in court to face charges of duping investors in a tech startup. He still has legal troubles, including an FBI investigation [π] and a whistleblower lawsuit [π] from former aides who accuse him of corruption.
AN INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITY
Long before Paxton tried to help former President Donald Trump overturn the 2020 election and stockpiled lawsuits against the Biden administration, he was a little-known Republican legislator whose courting of the partyβs far right catapulted his ascent to Texasβ top law enforcement official.
But barely five months into the job in 2015, a grand jury in Paxtonβs hometown of McKinney indicted him on felony charges of duping investors in a tech startup called Servergy. The accusations stemmed from deals Paxton allegedly steered in 2011 while he was still a state lawmaker. One investor he recruited was a fellow GOP legislator who put $100,000 into the company.
The indictment accused Paxton of recruiting investors while not disclosing that Servergy was compensating him to do so. He pleaded not guilty and his lawyers attacked the case as a political smear campaign.
Federal regulators also filed a civil lawsuit against Paxton. But a federal judge in 2017 dismissed the case [π] brought by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, a ruling that raised questions about the strength of the criminal prosecution.
βIt is technically a felony under state law but it is extraordinarily rare to see this picked up in an actual felony prosecution,β said James Spindler, a professor of business law at the University of Texas at Austin.
DELAYS PILE UP
The criminal case moved slowly from the start and was shuffled from one judge to the next.
A significant battle began outside the courtroom when Paxton allies spearheaded attacks on the special prosecutorsβ $300 hourly rate, calling it an abuse of taxpayer money. Local leaders in Collin County, where Paxton lives and which is controlled by Republicans, agreed and voted to slash the pay.
As the years passed, Paxtonβs lawyers blamed the delays on special prosecutors petitioning courts to restore their pay. Claims of unfair venues and biased jury pools also dragged the proceedings, which stood still for nearly a year.
Brian Wice, one of the special prosecutors, had previously indicated that he would consider a pre-trial deal a βslap on the wrist.β He said Tuesday that they had since reevaluated their chance of success based on evidence and witnesses.
Legal experts have said that since so much time has passed, the credibility and memory of witnesses would have likely been an obstacle at trial.
Jonathan Macey, a corporate law professor at Yale Law School, said the deal βseems like a reasonable resolution given how long things have been going on.β
IMPEACHMENT, THEN ACQUITTAL.
As the securities fraud case languished, a potentially more serious threat erupted in 2020: an extraordinary revolt within the Texas attorney generalβs office, where eight of Paxtonβs closest aides reported him to the FBI.
They accused their boss of corruption and claimed he abused the office to benefit a wealthy Austin developer, Nate Paul, who was indicted last year [π] on charges of making false statements to mortgage landers. Paul has pleaded not guilty.
The accusations propelled a historic impeachment in the Texas House, where Paxton once served. But in the Texas Senate β where Paxtonβs wife, Angela Paxton, is one of 19 GOP senators β he was acquitted [π] in a trial that laid bare the widening and increasingly bitter divisions among Republicans.
WHATβS NEXT
With the impeachment and securities fraud case now behind him, Paxton is set to continue a political revenge campaign against Republicans who sought to remove him from office.
At the top of that list is Texas House Speaker Dade Phelan, who oversaw the impeachment vote and was forced into a May runoff [π] against a challenger backed by Paxton.
Paxton wonβt be on the ballot again until 2026 and has not ruled out a primary challenge against Republican U.S. Sen. John Cornyn, who would be up for reelection that same year. Prior to the impeachment, Cornyn was one of a few prominent Texas Republicans to voice concerns about Paxtonβs legal troubles.
It also remains unclear when or how the FBI investigation surrounding Paxton will resolve.
<HEAVY SIGH>
I lied. I do have a video.
I learned about this nonsense via the atheist call-in show that I watch every so often.
59:51 is your timestamp, where one of the hosts reads the article in its entirety. [π]
You welcome to watch the whole video if you want.
The caller immediately following the section about Texas AG Ken Paxton, is a transphobic fearmongerer who pretends that all transgender people are child predators, and that over the past [X] years, we have been absolutely drowning in cases of women and young girls being assaulted by "men dressing as women to access women's spaces", except that, y'know, HERE IN THE REAL FUCKING WORLD, men who rape, just rape in whatever they're wearing at the time.
Shirley we've had instances of exactly what they're fearmongering about - men concealing their identity to commit crimes - but there has never been an epidemic of "men dressing as women to access women's spaces" to sexually assault women.
It has never been a common occurrence.
Transgender people have existed long before Donald Trump decided to scapegoat them all the way to the fucking White House (again).
Men who rape, just rape.
What fucking reality are we living in right now?
<INHALES SHARPLY>
We will continue exposing religious organizations and religious groups, and the apathy and indifference of religious folks in the face of rampant sexual abuse and child rape, soon enough.
You are within your right to be upset with me for doing this, but I'm going to do it anyway, because the fascists are escalating, and too many people are willing to stand by and watch them escalate, while clutching their ideologies and lacking the spine to say fuck all.
Shirley those who are silent aren't actually all in agreement with fearmongering about minorities on the basis of lies, right?
I don't give a fuck about your politics, your religion, or your moral compass.
I give a fuck about the people losing their rights and being labeled terrorists for simply existing, while religious organizations keep lobbying for that "religious freedom" to not have to report child abuse and child rape to the authorities.
Have a good day.
β// β ARE YOU A TRUE BELIEVER?:
There are two videos, but that "Young Republicans" video won for obvious reasons:
[π] Trump SHOCKS ALL & Casually Admits MAJOR CRIMES On Live TV! | The Kyle Kulinski Show
[π] βI LOVE H*TLERβ: Young Republicans CAUGHT In Secret Chatpocalypse | The Kyle Kulinski Show
Leaders of Young Republican groups throughout the country worried what would happen if their Telegram chat ever got leaked, but they kept typing anyway.
They referred to Black people as monkeys and βthe watermelon peopleβ and mused about putting their political opponents in gas chambers. They talked about raping their enemies and driving them to suicide and lauded Republicans who they believed support slavery.
William Hendrix, the Kansas Young Republicansβ vice chair [π], used the words βn--gaβ and βn--guh,β variations of a racial slur, more than a dozen times in the chat. Bobby Walker, the vice chair of the New York State Young Republicans at the time, referred to rape as βepic.β Peter Giunta, who at the time was chair of the same organization, wrote in a message sent in June that βeveryone that votes no is going to the gas chamber.β
Giunta was referring to an upcoming vote on whether he should become chair of the Young Republican National Federation, the GOPβs 15,000-member political organization for Republicans between 18 and 40 years old.
βIm going to create some of the greatest physiological torture methods known to man. We only want true believers,β he continued.
Two members of the chat responded.
βCan we fix the showers? Gas chambers donβt fit the Hitler aesthetic,β Joe Maligno, who previously identified himself as the general counsel [π] for the New York State Young Republicans, wrote back.
βIβm ready to watch people burn now,β Annie Kaykaty, New Yorkβs national committee member, said.
The exchange is part of a trove of Telegram chats β obtained by POLITICO and spanning more than seven months of messages among Young Republican leaders in New York, Kansas, Arizona and Vermont. The chat offers an unfiltered look at how a new generation of GOP activists talk when they think no one is listening.
Since POLITICO began making inquiries, one member of the group chat is no longer employed at their job and anotherβs job offer was rescinded. Prominent New York Republicans, including Rep. Elise Stefanik and state Senate Minority Leader Rob Ortt, have denounced the chat. And festering resentments among Young Republicans have now turned into public recriminations, including allegations of character assassination and extortion.
A liberating atmosphere
The 2,900 pages of chats, shared among a dozen millennial and Gen Z Republicans between early January and mid-August, chronicle their campaign to seize control of the national Young Republican organization [π] on a hardline pro-Donald Trump platform. Many of the chat members already work inside government or party politics, and one serves as a state senator.
Together, the messages reveal a culture where racist, antisemitic and violent rhetoric circulate freely β and where the Trump-era loosening of political norms has made such talk feel less taboo among those positioning themselves as the partyβs next leaders.
βThe more the political atmosphere is open and liberating β like it has been with the emergence of Trump and a more right wing GOP even before him β it opens up young people and older people to telling racist jokes, making racist commentaries in private and public,β said Joe Feagin, a Texas A&M sociology professor who has studied racism for the last 60 years. Heβs also concerned the words would be applied to public policy. βItβs chilling, of course, because they will act on these views.β
The dynamic of easy racism and casual cruelty played out in often dark, vivid fashion inside the chats, where campaign talk and party gossip blurred into streams of slurs and violent fantasies.
[...]
I've only quoted the first bit. You can read the article for the rest of it.
Over seven months, in 2,900 pages of messages sent over Telegram, elected Republicans and the leaders of local groups for young party activists in New York, Vermont, Arizona and Kansas routinely used racist and homophobic language and glibly invoked Hitler and the Holocaust.
The texts, first reported on Tuesday by Politico, have created a firestorm, putting Republican leaders on the defensive. Many state officials have condemned the texts, and some who participated in the chats have lost their jobs or been called on to resign.
But some top Republican leaders, including President Trump, have not weighed in, and others have played down the Republicansβ text messages. Vice President JD Vance compared them to βanything said in a college group chat,β even though they were local party officials and not college students.
Wait, wait! That's not all Vice President JD Vance said...
The messages, obtained by POLITICO, were sent by leaders of various Young Republican National Federation groupsβthe political organization for Republicans between the ages of 18 and 40. They show that the leaders of those groups praised Adolf Hitler and joked about gas chambers, slavery, and rape.
The leaks sparked immediate backlash from several lawmakers across the political aisle. But the Vice President brushed off the messages, turning instead to criticize Democratic Virginia Attorney General candidate Jay Jones, who recently came under fire for messages [π] he sent in 2022, in which he proposed a hypothetical scenario where he would shoot Todd Gilbert, then the Republican Speaker of the House, and wished that Gilbertβs children would be harmed.
βThis is far worse than anything said in a college group chat, and the guy who said it could become the AG of Virginia,β Vance said [π] in his social media post, referring to Jones. βI refuse to join the pearl clutching when powerful people call for political violence.β
Jones has apologized for the messages he sent in 2022.
Other Republican politicians, such as Vermont Gov. Phil Scott, have condemned [π] the leaked messages from Young Republican groups. New York Rep. Elise Stefanik, a Republican, denounced the chat, but also called [π] POLITICO's article a "hit piece" and, like Vance, turned to criticize Jones's remarks.
Personally, I don't see how wishing harm on someone's kids is any worse than saying you want to gas chamber everyone who isn't a "true believer", or how you're "ready to watch people burn", but it's nice to know what Vice President JD Vance thinks is acceptable rhetoric.
It's a "hit piece" when they get exposed, but it's totes fine for the President of the United States of America and his band of fascist buffoons to keep claiming that "the left" is on a terror spree, and that transgender people are all groomers.
These people are all adults, right?
Is this why "the right" pushes back so hard on "political correctness" and "WoKeNeSs"?
Is it so they can behave like deranged cunts all day then whine that the rest of us are the REEL MEANIESβ’ when we call them out for it?
Is this what being a "conservative" means?
Is this what being a "Republican" means?
Feeling persecuted yet?
Is that my fault, yours, theirs, or "God's"?
It can't be my fault, 'cause I didn't [REDACTED] and force nobody to say none of that shit, nor am I out here encouraging people to be fascist and bigoted little frat-boy cunts.
It's only your own fault if you've made THAT your identity, so much that criticism of it feels like a personal attack.
But someone is responsible for the state we're in.
Someone is fueling it, and someone is enabling it.
But, uh...
<SCROLLS UP>
Yeah, I ain't that, so it can't be me and my "unhinged" arse.
We haven't had an entry in a while for various reasons, but...
Permit me to expand the title a bit, because there's a character limit:
With Trump finally pushing to ban gender-affirming care to anyone 18 and under, it's time we checked in with reality again.
FOR GENERATIONS, ain't no religious group [as far as I know] been having a hissy fit over gender-correction surgeries.
This video has nothing to do with gender-affirming care for kids experiencing gender-dysphoria, and everything to do with babies born intersex (the "i" in LGBTQiA+), who are often mutilated, as soon as possible [and without their input], to "correct" them.
I don't feel a burning desire to be civil to anyone right now, so y'know, indulge me, or don't.
Y'know what the insidious part about this anti-transgender "baby mutilation / send your kids to school as x and they come home as y" bullshit is?
It's that religious groups and other bigots (including some "LGB" folks - and even some self-loathing "T"s), and fascist fearmongers like Donald Trump, took a serious issue that we all agree on - across the isle, I'm speaking for every non-deranged motherfucker, because I'm assuming that we all agree that children should not be mutilated - and twisted it into a vile tool to scapegoat the entire transgender community.
And they've done it so fucking successfully.
That's not me saying that there hasn't been mistakes in gender-affirming care, or regrets, or even negative health side-effects, but... if you watched the video, you'd have seen the bit about how, in the U.S., the Church is involved in the decision-making to mutilate intersex kids.
Gender-affirming care for transgender kids is supposed to be based on the child and what the child is experiencing, whereas the gender-corrective surgery performed on intersex kids is based on the feelings and agendas of adults.
Do you see how they took this real issue and turned it into a tool to scapegoat the transgender community?
What's a few of the arguments we always hear?
Doctors are tricking kids and parents to further their malicious left-wing ideology.
Parents are making life-altering decisions for their kids to further their own malicious left-wing ideology.
THEY'RE PERFORMING SURGERIES ON BABIES!
AND OH, THE HEALTHY BREAST TISSUE! AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
I'm not gonna say that none of that shit ever happened under the guise of "gender-affirming care", because I am not omniscient, but without a doubt, ain't none of these motherfuckers put this much energy into stopping doctors and the Church from chopping up babies to "fix God's little mistakes", because then they'd have to acknowledge the existence of intersex people.
Intersex healthcare is almost NON-EXISTENT, despite the fact that intersex people have existed for <CHECKS NOTES> always?
I can accept ignorance in the sense of not knowing any of this shit and being bamboozled into believing that this is what "gender-affirming care" is.
But how... inhumane does a person have to be to know this shit and still lie about it or turn a blind eye to it, or enable the deranged and degenerate motherfuckers who they know will pass laws based on the lie?
Do they intend to ban gender-corrective surgery on intersex kids?
'Cause I ain't heard "intersex" mentioned once in the anti-trans, baby mutilation rhetoric all these fucking years.
Intersex people are those born with any of several sex characteristics, including chromosome patterns, gonads, or genitals that, according to the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, "do not fit typical binary notions of male or female bodies".
The opposite of intersex is endosex, which describes persons born with sex characteristics that are seen as typically male or female at birth.
[...]
Intersex people face stigmatization and discrimination from birth, or following the discovery of intersex traits at stages of development such as puberty.
Intersex people may face infanticide, abandonment, and stigmatization from their families. Globally, some intersex infants and children, such as those with ambiguous outer genitalia, are surgically or hormonally altered to create more socially acceptable sex characteristics.
This is considered controversial, with no firm evidence of favorable outcomes.
Such treatments may involve sterilization.
[...]
β Wikipedia [π], but you're welcomed to research this Elsweyr.
"Gender-affirming care" for transgender youth is not the same thing as gender-corrective surgery performed on intersex kids.
To pretend it is, is to erase the experiences and the fucking trauma that so many intersex people have had to endure.
Fuck everyone who knew any of this and still empowered that predator-enabling degenerate (or others like him around the world, because there are many), while praising "God" and him for "saving the children"... while religious organizations still have that "religious freedom", given to them by men and women like him, to not report child abuse or child rape to the authorities, because the sanctity of confession is more important than the safety of children.
And don't you dare tell me it ain't, with the fuckin' horror stories we've heard of - years of child abuse that result from religious organizations utilizing their "religious freedom" to "intervene" and give "counseling" instead of reporting it to the relevant authorities.
Fuck.
That.
Bullshit.
And have a good night.
I'm gonna watch an episode of NOS4A2 [π] and <INHALES SHARPLY> calm the fuck down and remember how to be civil towards... y'know... everyone, because sometimes I forget that not everyone is full of shit - it just feels that way sometimes, inno?
Forgive me for that. I've been surrounded by maliciously ignorant people for far too long.
...
Did you hear that the BBC edited their video of Trump's speech - THE speech he made directly before his audience marched to the Capitol and had their "guided tour"?
I agree. Sue the BBC.
I watched the comparison. It was a piece of work.
But don't pretend as though the events of that day didn't transpire, or that somehow, that edited BBC video influenced the actions of those people on that day.
They heard what they heard, unedited - they heard it for weeks - and then did what they did.
And then he sat on his arse and did nothing to stop them - so the records say.
And then he condemned their actions - on national TV.
And then he Presidential Pardoned them for those same actions - on national TV.
It also doesn't change anything not directly related to it.
Being "victimized" by the media doesn't justify his actions, legitimize his corruption and self-enrichment and warmongering, or wash him of his Epstein filth.
That's not how that works.
Or should I say, that's not how it's supposed to work... for anyone.
But... a lot of religious folks (especially the morally corrupt ones) have a persecution complex - yeah, we're going there - and they use that persecution complex to justify and excuse... just about everything - like Project 2025 - while holding everyone else to a higher standard than they hold themselves or their peers.
And yes, I know and acknowledge that this is all part of the dogma brainwashing.
It allows religious folks to dismiss "people like me" as just disliking them or their religion or their religious organizations or their deity, for no legitimate reason, when in reality... it's the fucking child abuse, man - and beyond that, it's the apathy towards that child abuse. The fuck?! No entiendo!
As a religious person, the main people who irrationally discriminate against you are other religious people - from other religions, other denominations, and also your own peers.
...
I'm gonna reiterate and elaborate on the civil, bridge-building moral of the story:
What your religion or your relationship with your deity means to you, is irrelevant in the face of what it means to those who you empower, or those who you stand by and watch be empowered.
You are an individual.
You are not a collective or a hive-mind.
Your potentially good nature is not shared by absolutely everyone who identifies as your religion.
Simply scoffing and disowning them does not disempower them.
The same applies to me.
The same applies to men... and women... in general... respectively.
Good on you for speaking up! If people are uncomfortable seeing it next to Sims info, then imagine how uncomfortable the LGBT+ community is, seeing it everywhere! I appreciate a well-researched post, with plenty of sources that I can send to bigots who don't want to believe the church or government is doing horrible things. :)

Regarding the most recent update a la Nick Cannon... my grandmother has tried programming me with those beliefs and "facts" since I was a teen. I learned early on to disengage with her and research anything she tried to obviously manipulate my thinking on. She pulls a looooot of "tricks" in her dialogue when it's something like that. Wild.

I have too little energy to engage with Patreon though I am so incredibly grateful for modders like yourself. I wanted to leave this comment as a lurker to tell you that you seem like an incredibly smart, caring, hard-working and strong person. I wish you had more followers - I found you through the FOMO series - which I guess is one good thing EAxis caused. Keep being you, and thank you.

It's scary.. I have family and friends in the US, and I wish I had a T.A.R.D.I.S. to bring them to Australia! My paternal grandparents were lifelong Republicans. So was my father... till a few years before he passed. We'd had political arguments many times, and almost always ended with me saying "It's not Grandpa Lew's republican party anymore!" Daddy started voting on issues, not party. He told me that the first time and last time we voted together (before i moved to Australia). Something has to be done about that man, before the whole country implodes :(

Came here for Sims content and got surprised by anti-fascist statements. Glad to see, though. (btw don't let anyone tell you this doesn't belong here, because politics is everywhere and if you lose followers because of your opinions/positioning then they need to be gone. Fascism has no place here.)

Thanks for keeping this updated. It's wild times out here and I'm glad that at least one of the people that I follow on here make a point to state their views despite those who think this is a separate matter. We live and breathe politics whether we realize it or not and not knowing this one crucial fact is the reason people are having some dissonance.

I was a democrat many years ago and had to walk away from the party because of how unhinged they are. You're proving my point. I was turned out in college but soon came to realize my family who fought blood sweat and tears were right. My family came from fascism and socialism/communist party back in the 40s, you have no idea what you're talking about when you speak fascism out of your mouth. Palestine kids have been dying for years now and democrats got nothing done nor cared. You can believe whatever political propaganda you want too, but you sound crazy and I'm going to stop supporting you. Before you even think about calling me whatever you liberals like to call people. I've personally helped and donated to people in Palestine with my church, innocent people shouldn't have to die because of Hamas, your spreading misinformation and perpetuated the abuse of those Palestine people with your dumb blind support for Hamas. Democrats are the same now as they were in the 30s, heavy left leaning democrats like Roosvelt who expressed sympathy for the communist party. Big activist groups in America that supported what was going on to my family and my people, SPA, CPUSA,YPSL and the group Wobblies and LID some even knew that people were being killed and they still supported them. I have pictures and family heirlooms of absolute travesty of what you people support. Go do us a favor and quiet.

Lets be real you were never a democrat we weren't racist and disgusting enough for you. You chose trump because of his white nationalist views and his racism. No need to post lies about who you used to be. NO sane democrat switches teams for a cult who worships a pdf white supremist. you waisted your time spouting utter bs. what she posted is literal fact its on every news channel and available for you to find if you want to, that is if you can read this much. You voted for this recession, have a day.

You should make a Discord server for all this yapping instead of mixing it into your Patreon posts, as there's no way as far as I can tell to filter on this site, so I'm mentally debating if it's worth it to keep following you for a few mod updates as I don't care to see this stuff when updating my Sims mods. It drives people away, and I don't even mean what I or others believe in, It's just not relevant to what you're being followed for. That's my advice, I don't care about your political opinions, but they shouldn't be in here, time and place, and this is far from the place, I can get all this if I go to basically anywhere else online, sometimes people need a respite, and it's already hard enough to figure out when your mods update with how you title and explain mod posts, I am legit confused on your mod posts, let alone why this is here when it has nothing to do with them all. Cause I can tell you, your normal mod posts are already a turn off with how long it takes me, legit minutes, to parse what the upset is even for, if it applies to vanilla or other mods, and if it's updated, I don't need extra posts that just take up space in my inbox to click past that I can't even justify as "well, someone else likes this mod" as I can do with other Sims patreon emails I skip past. Have whatever opinions you want, I don't care, but you're the only person I follow like this who isn't doing this in a designated space where I can ignore it.

Oh, you can. Just ignore all posts without the "π" emoji, or the "π§π" emojis. There's a reason why I prefix my posts with emojis. It's so you can identify what is what. You can also turn off notifications, and also my mod-pages don't ever change (in the sense that I don't make new posts for updates, and if discontinue a mod, I usually leave the page up and link to the new page), so you can just bookmark those mods that you use and check those pages if they stop working. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy. But I am going to finish this post, so it's gonna pop up again a few times (not always with notifications though), and it's gonna take me a while because there's a lot to cover and I'm not really focused on it. Also, if the complaint also includes like those new posts for upcoming mods that you're now getting notifications for, then that's a new limitation that Patreon introduced. They removed our ability to make new posts without notifying. And all of this (how I posts mods - not specifically these "Bruno" posts) is due to the trash internet I'm on, that I may be able to resolve come end of October, but it's still a bit up in the air.

Sejian Β· September 30, 2025
It's all unhinged. The fearmongering that I highlighted in that "first" section, the lies, the lobbying that I highlighted in the most recent section, etc., it's all unhinged. It's unhinged that I felt the need to create this post in response to those real calls for violence - to ensure that anyone who might be here, who may not have been paying attention for whatever reason, was aware of a volatile situation - which is the same reason I created the ROBLOX post last month. It's unhinged that we live in a world where someone "like me" has to drag all those cases of child abuse into the light, in order to combat the bigoted narrative that all transgender people are child groomers and a danger to children everywhere. I ain't got the patience to appeal to reason and logic no more, because while we sit having endless "reason and logic" discussions, the bigoted narrative ain't stopping. It's unhinged that we're at this point in history, again. It's unhinged watching folks go after each other over Charlie Kirk's words, as though he didn't say the things he said. It's unhinged that a man in Texas felt emboldened enough to say, "Fuck their parade, I say we lock and load and pay them back for taking out Charlie Kirk. [...] [T]here's only like 30 of [them] we can send a clear message to the rest of them, [...] [C]ome on bro lets go hunting fairies." because that's the environment we've fostered by allowing the bigoted narratives, the child abuse projection, and the fabricated reality, to spread. Everything is unhinged... and I don't sugarcoat "Bruno" topics. But I also don't fabricate any of it. Maybe I'd be less unhinged if I were fabricating all of it.

You are no better than the Charlie Kirk assassin by pushing this rhetoric. You are all but trying to create more of him. This is unacceptable! I will no longer support you or anyone who joins you in this matter. I go to Sims as a way to escape reality and the crazy world we live in. I certainly do not need to see accusations of fascism or Nazi associated with MY Christian faith or my political beliefs. This is a disgusting post and I pray you think about removing it.

None of what I'm saying is fabricated, and I have not condoned the murder of Charlie Kirk. I am pointing out the state that the world is in right now, and the danger that it puts all of us in. You should reach out to the people I highlighted in the first section of this post, and tell them the same thing you've told me.
