Still on pre-marketplace and playing offline.. Also bought Paralives and honestly hope EA gets that punch to the face they deserve for all the basic stuff that is not included in base game, putting everything behind a paywall separately (Sims 3 supernatural had all their supernaturals in one pack) and the fact they released the base game with so many bugs and issues that they are only now attempting to fix, selling to people who use any income to commit crimes against humanity... Man, Sims 1 was a gem, sims 2 was a lore bomb and sims 3 was open world... each had their flaws, but sims 4 is where they turned it into a build simulator for me and game play became boring fast :( All games have their own imperfections, but if it doesn't charm the game, it's a nuisance. Thank you and thank all other modders who actually make sims 4 playable for me and add so much content to make it look good too.

I'm updated to the most recent patch. Marketplace doesn't bother me, but the content creators who are obviously frankenmeshing already existing Maxis content and then have the balls to charge stupid amount of money for it vs. the price of an actual kit DO bother me.

I haven't updated since v. 1.121.361.1020 [February 2026] and don't know when - or if - I will ever update again. Keeping a full back up on my external HD just in case.

I love loads of content so im surely not going to start playing Paralives now :) The amount of content for Sims 4 if you include mods is just massive and it only adds to the countless different ways you can actually play this game. I still have tons of things in-game i want to try out and in the meantime, more content is being added to games like Inzoi that i want to try out at some point but its not going to happen in near future. For the last few days i been giving a lot of love to my almost 200Gb mod folder and only tried out the game once since i updated it to the 150 fix patch, but surprisingly, that test run went very smooth. Like very very smooth. Quick game response time, no crashes, no lastExceptions or weird bugs. I couldn't barely believe it myself and now i cant wait to get back into the game :)

Using 1.120.140.1020 (from January) and have absolutely no plans on updating anytime soon, or ever again, especially if this version works fine for my purposes. Though, I do have the no-origin patch from Anadius (WAY better than needing that awful EA App). I also have this installation backed up on a USB flash drive.

I'm fully updated, but I've also got a backup squirreled away of pre-Marketplace. Both legit and otherwise. Because I take issue with certain things in my own way and resolve them in my own way. XD
