I get it y'know, there are some weird feelings about this. I don't share them but I can sympathize with a conflicted mind.
I'm not doing this because I want the content early or because I want to bypass doing the event. I'm happy to do events. I do this because I despise FOMO content and EAxis royally !@#$ed up with Happy At Home. The only reason this was done so quickly is cause items were included in Update 9/18/2024.

No "PROGRESSION" section for this post, but it's 5/29/2025 and I wanted to say a few words about my "FOMO Unlock" mods.
So back when this !@#$ first started EAxis would add the Event data to the BASE GAME close to the schedule start date and I initially toyed with the idea of doing a "staggered unlock" by unlocking each week's rewards when the week ended or waiting til the event was over, but I didn't do either for a couple reasons:
I'm on unreliable internet.
This kinda FOMO offends me, and the more we get, is the more it offends me. I begrudgingly accept Pre-Order FOMO only because I don't know how to unlock it for everyone. EAxis has convinced themselves that by giving us weeks of "grace periods", they're addressing the FOMO complaints. They're not. They're just admitting that they know this is !@#$ed up, but they refuse to just unlock the FOMO for everyone.
Nowadays EAxis is adding the Event data to the BASE GAME weeks in advance.
Per the two points above, I will always unlock Event data when it's added to the BASE GAME. You can download it whenever you're comfortable. If you feel weird about it and you want to wait, you have the option to wait.
I continue to do "FOMO Unlocks" for a few reasons:
This type of FOMO is wholly unacceptable for this kind of game.
There has not been a single event where simmers report encountering issues that prevented them from completing the objectives. I never really encounter such issues, but I am not so obnoxious as to think that my experience with the game reflects everyone else's.
Simmers are real people with real lives, real problems, and real obligations. Not everyone is always going to have the time or energy or desire to complete these events within the time frame EAxis gives us. Life happens, y'know?
I will continue to do "FOMO Unlocks" for as long as EAxis continues to do FOMO Live Events.
