Mobile Cam is in the hub now, with PhoneGyro and a bunch of fixes

Mobile Cam installs and updates through the russozl hub now. The last Mobile Cam post here was back in May, so this one covers what changed since then. Sorry it took this long.

PhoneGyro:

  • your phone is the camera. Point it and the camera in the game points with you;

  • the game shows on the phone while you film, so you frame the shot there instead of on the monitor;

  • the zoom bar on the phone zooms the game camera too, all the way to its long end;

  • CLIP on the phone presses your clip app's hotkey on the PC, so ShadowPlay, AMD's Instant Replay, Game Bar or an OBS replay buffer saves the moment while you are across the room. Pick the key under Clip key in the Phone Gyro tab;

  • same PhoneGyro app as the Walking Mod. If you already use it there, there is nothing new to install on the phone.

Camera:

  • corners lean the shot: the body tips with the cornering load and the horizon goes with it;

  • breathing and hand tremor each have their own slider (0 turns it off);

  • lenses from 0.5x to 5x, and the mouse wheel steps through them;

  • Locked mount, for when you want it bolted to the car like an action cam, no hands;

  • following another car, aim lock and depth of field (that one needs YEBIS post-processing on);

  • presets per car.

Fixed:

  • after a hard crash at a low frame rate the camera could stay stuck shaking until you switched it off and on;

  • "not licensed" with the game run as administrator, and on CSP 0.3.0 previews older than preview520;

  • the right mouse button (the mouse look) no longer reaches the game's own camera, so the snow stays on the windscreen;

  • the phone could stay black while the game was on screen, when another copy of the game was left running in the background or the game was minimised;

  • a PC without an NVIDIA encoder gets the MJPEG picture on the phone, and the tab says so;

  • with the Mobile Cam window closed, the gamepad belongs to the game again;

  • the firewall button understands yes in any language;

  • some smaller fixes.

Next: the passenger seat, the driver and passenger bodies you saw in the stories, and the new physics come in the next update. No date yet, I'll post here when it's out.

Still needs internet when the game starts, and CSP 0.3.0 preview or newer (0.2.11 does not work).

How to get it: it is in the russozl hub, with Camera Tools or Full Access. If you have the hub, close the game, open the hub and click Install on Mobile Cam; after that it updates by itself. No hub yet? Download it from https://russozl.com.br/rz/v1/download/hub, run RussozlHub-Setup.exe, sign in with Patreon and click Install on Mobile Cam (Windows may show a blue "Windows protected your PC" screen the first time: More info, then Run anyway). PhoneGyro is in the hub's Phone app tab.

If something is off, a short video in #bug-reports on Discord helps the most.
