Dev Update - 2026/05/22

Hey everyone,

This week has been a mixed bag so far.
I've been feeling sick for a few days now, but nothing too major. Went to the Doc who couldn't find anything yet, but my concentration was (and kinda still is) a bit shit.
I'll have to see how that develops in the next several days.

Besides that, I finished the work on Fiona's scene and started working on the first Chapter ending, which starts with a short Elea part.
That part is already done, and I can move on to the more serious parts.
And by that, I mean I'll spend the weekend sitting down with Cascadeur and see if it is an option for animations. For all kinds of animations. ;-)
I have a bit of time available this weekend, so this is a great chance to do it now when I can sit down for a few hours in one go.

Because of that, the progress on renders and script lines will most likely be a lot smaller than this week.
Speaking of renders, you should also expect fewer preview renders in the next few weeks.
I'll try to avoid spoilers, and that might make it hard to find renders that I can show without giving away too much.

The numbers for this week:
110 new static for a total of 1682
0 new animations, total still 53
183 new lines in the script files for a total of 4792
