Dev Update - 2026/02/06
Hey everyone,
This week started off pretty well with good progress, and I was positive that I could even get the test build done by the end of this week.
And then the little one brought home another flu from kindergarten, and it's now running through the whole family. Oh joy...
I spent the past 2 days in bed and could barely move. Today's the first day since Tuesday when I can actually stay up for more than 15 minutes.
As I said, the progress until Wednesday was pretty good; the test build is almost ready.
It's just lacking a few renders; everything else is already there.
I hope to finish those renders over the weekend now, so I can run the test build early next week.
I'll keep this Dev Log short, so I can use the remaining energy in me to set up some renders. :-)
The numbers for this week:
96 new static renders for a total of 381
0 new animations, total still 14
212 new lines in the script file for a total of 1305
Have a nice weekend, guys, and stay healthy.
Cheers,
Ceo

I hope everyone is back to health and happiness soon!
thanks, Roux
I know that, when my son or my daughter caught something, all in our household got it, so like always, get healthy no pressure on anything, i had a team member and friend who remained in daily sports, saying its only a cold, he got a Myocarditis without knowing and 6 months later he collapsed during a House clearing training session in Zwentendorf the only AKW my country ever built and never went online, his heart gave up and we were not able to revive him - may he Rest in Peace....😞 I know you dont need my advice Brother, but i say it again, there is no problem if an Update takes a little longer... Take care, we love you ! 🫡💯👊
Thanks, Ricardo. That's the very reason why I (at least try) to lie down for a bit when I get sick now. When you're young, you just tend to ignore that stuff and throw in some meds... until you see what happens. Sorry to hear about your friend, though. :-(
Things IRL always get in the way. I always refer to young children as walking petri dishes (I have a member of my extended family who works teaching them).
isn't that the truth :-D We were lucky at the end of last year with dodging a few bullets but this time we failed...
