Dev Update - 2025/08/08
Hey everyone,
This week's focus has been on setting up static renders and the script file.
The scene I planned to work on this week is fully written and coded, but it's still missing some more renders, which will be my work for the weekend.
DAZ and especially Dforce (simulation engine for clothes/hair) were giving me some headaches, and it took me a while to get it to look right.
Some of the "results" are featured in the preview renders of this week.
I expect to start with the next, which will be pretty straightforward, scene early next week (and hopefully less dforce shenanigans...). The plan for next week is to finish the script for it, at least, and get as far as possible with the renders.
The numbers for this week:
81 new static renders for a total of 715
0 new animations for a total of 8
262 new lines in the script file for a total of 2736

Can't wait for the next chapter to be out. Weirdly i'm more hyped about seeing how much MC actually learned from the elves in combat. Might not see it in the next chapter, but still hyped to see it somewhere down the line. So many questions tbh like how good was the sword training from the elves and since he now can hold the sword with one hand does that mean he might end up holding both of the swords in later chapters? who knows.
