Sims 4: Tales of Yore Save File (Updated Version)

The long-awaited Tales of Yore Save is finally here! A few close friends and I have diligently worked on this save for several months. Despite facing the challenge of transitioning to console temporarily while saving up for a new PC, we managed to complete it. Otherwise, it would have been available much sooner! Thank you immensely for your patience and unwavering support!

What exactly is the Tales of Yore Save?

The Tales of Yore Save is essentially a revamped and updated edition of The Medieval Save, which was launched last year. This new version features horses in every town and kingdom, along with an Old West rendition of Chestnut Ridge. Moreover, it introduces some fresh builds and Sims! There are two downloadable versions available: one unmodded (Slot_00000077) and one modded (Slot_00000004).

NB: THE MODDED VERSION REQUIRES THE FOLLOWING MODS (REMEMBER TO KEEP YOUR MODS UPDATED):

I'll periodically upload CC versions of Sims from the save for those interested in adding them to their games. You can always use the hashtag #talesofyore on the Gallery and upload your Sims and builds for these worlds and I might just include them in future updates!

A few notes:

1. San Sequoia and Tomarang are not included in this update. Instead, they're left empty for those who wish to place builds there.

2. Again, all packs are required for this update.

Installation Instructions:

Simply place the save file(s) in the following directory: Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Saves.

If you find the need to rename the save (due to an existing save with the same number), simply alter the last digits to something unique not already present in your saves folder.

Now, let's delve into the noble houses of the Tales Of Yore Save!

House Zilwarin: In the enchanted realm of Fairdells, a new ruler ascended the throne. King Taranath Zilwarin, son of the late king, stepped into his father's shoes amidst whispers of treachery and deceit.

Some tongues wagged with accusations, claiming the young king had plotted his father's demise to grasp the crown for himself. Yet, amidst the murmurings of suspicion, King Taranath pursued his ambitions with a steadfast determination, seeking to solidify his reign through an alliance forged in marriage.

To further his designs, he set his sights upon the Emperor's daughter, Princess Maeralya, a union that promised to strengthen his grip on the kingdom. But within the royal court, another figure lingered in the shadows, his sister Princess Raina, yearning to break free from the shackles of royalty and lose herself amidst the whispering boughs of the forest.

As the threads of fate wove their intricate tapestry, the kingdom of Fairdells stood at a crossroads, its future hanging in the balance. Would the citizens suffer beneath the yoke of King Taranath's rule, or would the rumblings of rebellion herald the dawn of a new era?

Amidst the turmoil of courtly intrigue, a formidable foe emerged from the depths of the earth. Thurgrom, King of the Dwarfs, harbored his own ambitions, his eyes set upon the throne of Fairdells. As the stage was set for a clash of titans, the fate of the kingdom hung in the balance, poised upon the edge of destiny's blade.

Queen Cleopatra: In the land of ancient Egypt, where the Nile flowed like a ribbon of life through the golden sands, there reigned Queen Cleopatra, a sovereign of unparalleled beauty and wisdom. Yet, her reign was not merely defined by her captivating visage, for she possessed a strength of will and a cunning mind that commanded the respect of all who beheld her.

Whispers danced through the corridors of power, tales spun from the threads of rumor and intrigue, for it was said that Queen Cleopatra held the heart of none other than Julius Caesar, the mighty Roman general. Their love, a forbidden flame that defied the boundaries of empires, cast a shadow upon the sands of Egypt, stirring envy and curiosity among her subjects.

But Queen Cleopatra was more than just a figure of romance and intrigue. She was a ruler of formidable prowess, guiding her kingdom with a steady hand and a keen eye for strategy. From the banks of the Nile to the sands of the desert, her influence stretched far and wide, earning her the admiration of allies and the fear of foes.

Though the whispers of her love affair with Julius Caesar echoed through the annals of history, it was Queen Cleopatra's indomitable spirit and unwavering resolve that etched her name into the chronicles of time, a queen whose legacy would endure long after the sands of Egypt had shifted beneath the weight of centuries.

House Von Haunt: In the kingdom of Windenburg dwelt a royal family shrouded in sorrow. Upon the sudden departure of King Victor Von Haunt I to the realm beyond, his mantle fell upon the shoulders of his son, the young Victor Von Haunt II.

Though destined for the throne, young Victor found himself ill-suited to the burdens of kingship, his countenance as gloomy as the darkest night. Awkward in social graces and burdened by the weight of his grief, he seemed a shadow of his father's regal stature, much to his own dismay.

But amidst the gloom that hung like a pall over the kingdom, a guiding light emerged in the form of Queen Regent Erika, Victor's mother and a pillar of strength in his time of need. With wisdom and grace, she lent her counsel to her son, guiding him through the labyrinth of courtly affairs and affairs of state.

Yet, despite their shared sorrow and the queen's sage advice, a discordant note echoed through the halls of Windenburg's royal court. For there existed a figure, a jester by trade, whose antics and jests sought to banish the shadows that haunted the hearts of king and queen alike.

But to young Victor and his mother, the court jester was naught but a nuisance, his attempts at levity falling upon ears deafened by grief. They found him insufferable, his presence a reminder of the joy they had lost and the burdens they bore.

Thus, in the twilight of their mourning, the kingdom of Windenburg remained veiled in sorrow, its rulers and subjects alike ensnared by the tangled threads of fate. And amidst the tapestry of their grief, the court jester danced on, a lone figure of mirth in a kingdom cloaked in darkness.

  

House Okeanos: In the kingdom of Mermaid Isles, where the waves danced to the tune of the moon and the sea breeze whispered ancient secrets, there reigned King Trenton, sovereign of land and sea alike. His heart, heavy with the memory of his departed queen, found solace in the presence of his beloved daughter, Princess Lucia, the jewel of his realm.

Yet, amidst the tranquility of their island kingdom, a shadow lurked upon the horizon. For in recent moons, the shores had been beset by the unwelcome arrival of pirates, their flagrant disregard for law and order sowing chaos wherever their ships made berth. King Trenton's ire burned hot as the summer sun, for he harbored a deep-seated loathing for all who sailed beneath the black flag.

But amidst the turmoil of piracy's onslaught, a storm of a different kind brewed within the royal halls. For Princess Lucia, with her tender heart and adventurous spirit, found herself drawn to a young pirate lad who roamed the shores of her father's kingdom. In secret, she stole glances and traded words with the rogue of the seas, kindling a forbidden flame that danced perilously close to the edge of betrayal.

As tensions rose between crown and corsair, and the clash of wills threatened to engulf Mermaid Isles in turmoil, Princess Lucia's clandestine affections only served to deepen the rift between duty and desire. In the timeless tale of love and loyalty, the waves of fate would soon crest, revealing the true depths of Princess Lucia's heart amidst the tempest of her father's wrath.

House Goth: Once upon a time, in the mystical kingdom of Glimmerbrook, there dwelled Lady Ravendancer Goth, descendant of a lineage steeped in the ancient arts of magic. Though once surrounded by kin and kindred spirits, fate had cruelly snatched them away, leaving her to reign as the solitary sovereign of her enchanted domain.

In the depths of her solitude, amidst the whispers of the winds and the mournful song of the nightingale, Lady Ravendancer crossed paths with a dashing young man by the name of Guidry. His charm was as potent as the strongest elixir, and soon, the lady found herself ensnared in the enchantment of love's embrace.

Yet, amidst the blossoming of their affection, a thorn of jealousy sprouted in the garden of Lady Ravendancer's heart. For Guidry's gaze wandered not only to her, but to other maidens of Glimmerbrook, including her faithful servant, Hilda Bones, daughter of a notorious pirate, and even her estranged sister, Temperance.

Little did Hilda know, her dalliance with infidelity would soon reap bitter consequences, as the winds of fate whispered secrets of betrayal and remorse. In the tapestry of their intertwined fates, the threads of loyalty and love were fragile, and Hilda would soon learn the price of treachery in the kingdom of Glimmerbrook...

House Landegraab: In the kingdom of Britechester reigned the illustrious House Landegraab. The Landegraabs were known far and wide as the monarchs of opulence, their splendor rivaling even the brightest stars in the night sky.

With locks of spun gold cascading like rivers of sunlight, and wardrobes adorned with the finest fabrics woven by the hands of enchanted seamstresses, the Landegraabs were the very embodiment of wealth and luxury. Their coffers overflowed with treasures beyond imagining, enough riches to tempt even the most frugal of Sims.

But alas, as the old saying goes, "everything that glitters isn't gold." Despite their abundance of riches, the Landegraabs could not foresee the shadow of impending doom that loomed over their kingdom. For, with the recent hatching of dragon eggs scattered throughout the realm, a threat unlike any they had faced before emerged, casting a dark cloud over their once-gilded paradise.

Would the golden walls of their palatial estates protect them from the fiery wrath of these newfound beasts? Only time would tell if the Landegraabs' wealth could shield them from the fiery trials that awaited them in the kingdom of Britechester.

House of the Llama: Once upon a time, in the peaceful land of Henford-on-Bagley, there stood the grand castle of House Llamaryen. Within its walls, sorrow had taken residence, for Queen Emma, beloved wife of King Liserys, had departed from this world, leaving behind a grieving king and their only daughter, Princess Lhaenyra.

Breaking customs, Princess Lhaenyra was declared the heir to the throne by her father, King Liserys. Yet, lurking in the shadows of the kingdom's heart was the king's younger brother, Prince Damian, his ambition burning like a flame in the darkness. Prince Damian harbored desires contrary to the king's decree, longing to seize the throne for himself and cast a shadow upon the rightful succession of Princess Lhaenyra.

Amidst the whispers of courtiers and the rustle of silk in the royal chambers, rumors swirled that King Liserys was to seek a new bride, in hopes of siring a son to secure the future of the kingdom. But how had such discord and uncertainty befallen the fairytale-like kingdom of Henford-on-Bagley, where harmony once reigned supreme?

 

House Thebe: In the annals of lore, there exists a tale woven with threads of courage and adventure, a tale of Princess Cordelia, scion of the illustrious Royal House Thebe from the kingdom of Tartosa. Her life, a tapestry of extraordinary deeds, defies simple description, for hers was a soul ablaze with a thirst for life's many wonders.

A poetic spirit, she found solace in the embrace of the ocean's waves, her heart attuned to the song of the sea and the call of distant shores. Yet, her spirit was not confined to the tranquil waters alone, for she sought companionship amidst the roguish crew of pirate suitors, finding kinship in the free spirits that roamed the seven seas.

But Cordelia's passions knew no bounds, as she wielded brush and palette with the skill of a master artisan, capturing the beauty of the world upon canvas with each stroke of her brush. In the quiet moments, she sought solace in the melodies of music, her soul stirred by the harmonies that echoed through the halls of her ancestral home.

Yet, fate is a capricious mistress, and tragedy struck like a thunderbolt from the heavens, as her beloved home fell victim to a terrible invasion. Undaunted by despair, Cordelia emerged from the wreckage, her spirit unbroken and her resolve unwavering.

In the depths of the ocean's embrace, she faced a fearsome Kraken, a creature of myth and legend, and emerged not as its victim, but as its master. Harnessing the creature's power for her own purposes, she wielded its might like a sorceress of old, a testament to her indomitable will and unwavering courage.

Indeed, few can rival the storied saga of Princess Cordelia, for hers is a tale of triumph in the face of adversity, of bravery in the shadow of despair. In the annals of history, her name shall be etched in letters of gold, a beacon of hope and inspiration for generations yet to come.
