I hope they come back to this series at some point season 8 had one of the most creative contestants
Please dont write anything until you pause. You miss so many jokes and references because you’re too focused on playing your game rather than watching the show. If you’re playing your game, make sure the video is paused. I’m a fan but it gets frustrating how many funny bits you miss because you dont pause and are focused on writing down, even when you think you’re paying attention
The male G spot, now thats exciting 😉🤣
"You were gonna put a live puppy in there? ... Well obviously live, happy christmas! *Thump*" I forgot how dark/funny that line was.
i feel like having a irn bru for some reason :P
Remember the World Stare-Out Championship back in the day? Giggles Clifton aka The Tall Man 😊
There’s a 15 minute podcast clip on YouTube where James and Rhod discuss their time on taskmaster. It’s entertaining enough for anyone interested. (The Froth podcast)
I've always wondered why Alex, Greg, anyone on the production team, or any of the other contestants, didn't question whether Rhod had blinked when he turned round to "tip the tears out" as he put it and challenge his attempt 😂
The outtakes for this series are pure chaos. Please please do reaction to outtakes as well.
33:20 Contestant backgrounds! Phil I think has an engineering degree from Cambridge, where he started doing comedy too. Rod studied languages and ended up doing admin jobs before stand-up. Acaster was a drama kid who then played in bands and worked as a dishwasher for a while. Not sure about Kerry apart from her acting and Jessica was a drama kid and then actress.
yesss Goku jacket wins!
The don't blink task was originally going to be used as a tie breaker, but after Rhod's attempt they knew they had to include it
Was that a mjolnir coffee mug? 😍
The "the only thing missing is a bottle of white cider" part was implying it looks like something a homeless person has assembled to sleep in.
I’m surprised no one has made the joke “Phil’s wang” yet.
The "don't blink" task was also done on Norwegian taskmaster a.k.a. "kongen befaler" or "the king commands" the winner managed 2 hours 47 minutes and had to take a go pro camera home with him.
Ive not seen what Mike has for his prize but he is the winner this week. I would leave that party instantly 😩 sorry Jess.
I feel personally attacked ☘️☘️☘️🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪
From this point on, whenever they use the walkway off the stage, they call it the "Knappet" because of her fall
I put it to you that they don't start calling it The Knapper for a couple of series. I can't pin point when the phrase was coined but I don't think it happens yet.
Boring sports nerd time. The significance of the final task being "Hit the drum after 9.58 seconds"... 9.58 seconds is Usain Bolt's 100m world record. Just one of those things Alex sneaks in.
Just to put the reaction of the audience into perspective - they are always new people in each episode. So Phil's haggle joke and the first reveal of the tracksuit is new to them in each episode. You might be annoyed or used to it already but for the episode audience it is a brand new experience.
The solve for the blink task is classic Taskmaster lateral thinking. You could just lay down and go to sleep 😂
The episode we have all been waiting for. New name for the stage will be used in all future episodes and series. James Acaster going off after watching the garage bit was hilarious. "I wanted to be on the girls' team really badly." Phil's, "They're very charming, the Irish!" is an absolutely underrated line.
Woop woop, finished work, and in bed, and this comes out!!!! 💪😁
Rhods blink attempt and James crash out 😂
They do not know that the stage had just got its name.
