I didnt think things would get better when u started watching Peep Show, then u started Taskmaster; then u started Gavin & Stacey... But I cant tell u how much Im enjoying rewatching Green Wing with you - and how much you are enjoying it. It is absolutely mad and only gets madder. Plenty more twists to come too ;)

I don’t know why, but I was mixing Esther Rantzen and Anne Widdercombe. I was super confused by all the comments about her work with children, etc. (for those who don’t know, AW was a politician who, among other things, downplayed and made excuses for the Catholic Church child abuse scandals).
Horrible woman. Still dreadful what happened to her though.
The bit about Dr. Statham being denied entry for not having a dog, while obviously made up on the spot, fits well with my head canon that he went on meds and became Jim.
We've had to ban chocolate cake in the UK after this, it's now classified as hate cake and any crimes involving it are punished more harshly. This probably wont be a joke for long at the rate of insanity we're actually going.

Michelle Gomez is an absolute treat. She's always a bit mad in things. IRL, she's married to Jack Davenport, who plays Commodore James Norrington in Pirates of the Caribbean .

The sex scene is weird. The door is closed, Caroline goes in without asking permission, then blames Angela. She even says “from now on, all clicking is to be done behind closed doors”. I suppose asking if she wanted coffee did imply that she could go in, but still..
