K'Whyin...K'Whyin 🎶

C
Charlie Davies · October 19, 2026

You know Raquel was really singing that without edits. She actually has an incredible voice in real life and that actually surprised John Sullivan during the production of this episode. She wasn't expected to be this good, but it turned out so well they went with it.

A
Athan Immortal · October 15, 2026

This was the scene I wanted to see when you first started Only Fools and *HoWses*

C
Chevy · September 25, 2026

fun fact: Philip Pope who plays Tony Angelino along with another person arranged the soundtrack for Kevin and Perry Go Large. Those mixes - that was him

Looking at this now, I'm amazed they missed an obvious one - Crying was written by Woy Owbison

R
Robert McMillan · September 22, 2026

It's such a different experience watching it once you know the reveal. Lends itself perfectly to a rewatch

G
Gerard McCartan · September 22, 2026

No-one ever watching this first time knew the pay off the twist was he couldnt pronounce his "R's" lol The slow reveal of his costume and make-up was so genius. Great reaction to a timeless classic episode. Wock n woll

D
David Watkins · September 21, 2026

An early reference to Boys From The Blackstuff, one of the greatest ever pieces of British television. A very tough watch but worth every minute

R

K
Kathy Hills · September 21, 2026

Damn, I spoiled this episode for myself by scanning the comments briefly before I started watching it. Won't do that again.

G
Gerard McCartan · September 22, 2026

Yip best not to lol Your lucky though that you havn't watched it before! I remember watching this when it aired with my dear old granny, she choked on her marie biscuits when he sang cwwwing and we missed the rest of the episode because of it lol she was ok in 5minutes, just was so funny, she couldnt help it lol there was no such thing then as pausing a tv show lol We saw a repeat of it when my dad said he taped it afew days later. Great wholesome beautiful family times and show. Hope your well. OFAH has such a warmth to it.

A
Alexander Page · September 20, 2026

I looked up the lyrics now. They had to change one line in Crying to make the surprise land, but it was a really well-chosen song.

L

R
Rich graham · September 20, 2026

Mike and his judgemental face, it gets better every week lmao 🤣

D
Dom · September 20, 2026

It was not aired in the 70's, it started in the 80's, through the 90's (should have ended in 96, but they milked it and dragged it out until 2004).

P
Paul Tromans · September 20, 2026

Yeah i really hope they class the special in 96 as the final episode which it should of been

A
ALW · September 20, 2026

I think my favourite part is when Tony causes Raquel to stumble and almost sing 'Cwying' herself. It's a blink and you'll miss it joke, but I love it.

E
Elliot · September 20, 2026

Came here to mention this. Raquel: "cwy... CRYing" lol

K
Ketzalborne · September 20, 2026

Well, we all know what Mikes next dress-up is going to be 😂

C
Craig Cook · September 20, 2026

Sundays. Wake up to no alarm. (Usually hungover). Get this on. Perfect

R
Ryan W. · September 20, 2026

I think "medley of wock and woll" is the hardest I've ever seen Mike laugh 😂

D
DaveyB · September 20, 2026

Just those lil seconds of you two waiting to know when it's coming of what's the issue with Tony 😂😂

N
Neil Armitage · September 20, 2026

The clue is when they first go to see Tony singing he’s singing The song “Delilah” and he sings the line “come to bust down the door” the actual lyric is “Come to break down the door” which of course he has had to change.

P
PHILIP HOBBS · September 22, 2026

NO WAY. That's a great catch

S
SubTerrain Music · September 20, 2026

Not long now till my favorite episode, and probably many peoples favourite! S8, E3

P
Patrick · September 20, 2026

I've been at work since 7am so I am very much looking forward to finishing at some point in the next few hours and putting this straight on.

A
Andy R · September 20, 2026

We all know what you two are wearing next week, think Mike has drawn the short straw this time

L
Lanshir97 · September 20, 2026

Lionel Blair was the Tap Dancing celebrity in the Big Brother House in I think the Last episode of Extras.

K
Kathy Hills · September 20, 2026

Oh this was bwilliant! Another one I've never seen. I personally think Del's last line was the best. I clapped and cheered. What a great start to the day.

D
David Baird · September 20, 2026

Genuine question for fans of Only Fools and Horses - is it funnier the first time you watch it, or on the rewatch? I've seen this episode countless times (and all the others) but when Tony first sings CWYING it gets me every time haha. And as fans know, it's such a layered comedy, I'm still finding things funny that I hadn't noticed before!

D
David Baird · September 20, 2026

Should have mentioned - great reactions as always Mike and Jess! Had me Cwying with laughter.

R
Ricky · September 20, 2026

love this episode so much because of the writing having the big reveal in the end, and also because we got back to del boy doing a hustle and we havnt fully had an episode with that for a while, awesome, also a side note, has anybody ever wondered where the trotter clan would be without del boys hustling? its pretty wild how much the family actually rely and him for it, even though they convey that they dislike it, they are always very easily talked into it cuz deep down they no they need the money and this is how they get it in this family

J
Julian · September 20, 2026

The great Woy Orbison died 2 years prior to this, so didn’t get to see what was done with his song (or receive royalties).

L
Lolly · September 20, 2026

It's impossible to sing a song that doesn't contain any R's. If you are trying to disguise your Rhotacism, picking songs where the R's are at the end of words

J
Jay Jay · September 20, 2026

I couldn't wait for this episode, after all of us crying over the Derek episode yesterday I knew we'd all be 'Cwying-Laughing' today...and Mike calling they'd get more bookings because Eugene's Mum found it hilarious...the 14yr old me didn't see it coming 🤣 Happy Sunday fellow Plonkers🍻

L
Liam Caseyy · September 20, 2026

WegenewationNationtv......tony would defo struggle saying that name

B
Ben Marshall · September 20, 2026

Fun fact: the actor playing Tony Angelina (Philip Pope) is actually a very talented musician who does a bit of comedy acting on the side. He specialises in comedy songs/parody composing many songs for things like Not The Nine O’Clock News, Spitting Image and the BBC radio comedy show Radio Active. He later was the musical director for the Fast Show (including Jazz Club) and did the film score for the Kevin & Perry film among other things. He’ll probably always be best known as Tony the Cwying guy from OFAH though 😂.

G
Gareth · September 20, 2026

He was in the 80s Channel Four satirical comedy show Who Dares Wins, too. Alongside Jimmy Mulville, Rory McGrath, Julia Hills and Tony Robinson.

L
L Mackay · September 20, 2026

I've seen OFAH so many times but It never gets old. Love Sundays watching it again with both of you

P
Paul Brooks · September 20, 2026

Wow, an outwo

A
Alexander Page · September 20, 2026

I have a hard time feeling sorry for Rodney. He’s young and mixed up, but the thing is, he can get jobs, he just feels too good for the ones he can get. He didn’t want to be a night watchman, he didn’t want to be a chief mourner. Trigger could get him a job roadsweeping. Do that for a while, then he’d have work experience and could see about getting to the next level. I was working crappy jobs at his age. It’s not fun, but it’s better than waiting for another Alan to come along and hand him another management position.

B
BF Jonny · September 20, 2026

Another classic episode. Regarding the fashion comments, this series is from 1991

P

R

Gweat Weaction 🤣

D
Danny · September 20, 2026

It looks like they enjoyed filming the last scene, because you can see Tessa Peake-Jones (Raquel) corpsing when Del says "crudité à la plate" (51:52), but luckily her face is turned away enough to hide it.

N
NAME SURNAME · September 20, 2026

J
Jon Emmerson · September 20, 2026

I think i have watched the last 10 minutes of todays video at least 15 times. So funny.

G
Gerard McCartan · September 20, 2026

That fake suntan reveal and the big c*ck codpiece thing was hilarious. Nick Lyndhurst (Rodney) said he truly did break character and busted out laughing saying "...and that was followed by a medley of wock n woll" lol This show man. Something about it, it all feels real, like real people.

J
Joe Markham · September 20, 2026

Next week Mike has to be in a Tony Angelino outfit, fake tand and all. Give the people what they want!

R
Rob Walters · September 20, 2026

L
London Celt · September 20, 2026

Cwying absolute classic, looking forward to next week’s now

A
Andy Roberts · September 20, 2026

Great episode. Think Mike and Jess were onto something there - with Waquel and Tony as a singing comedy double act! Some more songs for them to consider: Wespect - Aretha Franklin Woxanne - The Police Wocket Man - Elton John Wed, Wed Wine - UB40 Webel, Webel - David Bowie Wolling in the Deep - Adele Webel Yell - Billy Idol Wun to You - Bryan Adams And many, many more…

J
Julian · September 20, 2026

Forgive me, I need to point out that Wed Wed Wine is a Neil Diamond song. I hate the UB40 version 😎. Also Wespect is an Otis Redding song, but I get it, Aretha made it her own.

B
BigChanChan · September 20, 2026

The genius of this episode, is that they hid his speech impediment before it was revealed in the big reveal with Raquel... It must have been really hard to write the script without giving away any hints of it.

K
Kev McCarthy · September 20, 2026

Another gweat weaction fwom you guys

W
William · September 20, 2026

That song for me is an ear worm. When I'm running around trying to find something or concentrate on something. My internal voice is singing' Cwying. I bet you find yourselves singing it for a few days.

D
David Cooper · September 20, 2026

Cry- eyi-eyi- iiing?🥲🤣🤣🤣

D
David Williams · September 20, 2026

I was thinking about what Amazing actors they are and the strength of the characters, how they seem so real and It made me think of "Open all Hours" where David Jason plays Granville who's so different from Del. Strange how I never see it reacted to because it's also a show with great characters every bit as strong as OFAH but set in the North and Ronnie Barker was our best comedy actor.

M
Mark · September 20, 2026

I hope they do Open All Hours at some point, and Porridge

T

Neil Hirani · September 20, 2026

Hi there. I just subscribed to your Patreon page, after seeing your OFAH reactions on Youtube. I have one scheduling request. Eight episodes after this is the 1st episode of the 1996 Christmas trilogy. Can you please ensure this is shown on 2 November? You would have to show some OFAH episodes twice a week, if possible. Trust me - you will thank me for this!

M
Mark Rudd · September 20, 2026

They’re on a weekly schedule mate so have certain days for certain shows

D
Daniel Davies · September 20, 2026

John Sullivan said that writing Tony’s dialogue in his first scene was a challenge because obviously, he had to avoid all words with a pronounced ‘R’ in them so as not to give away the reveal.

R

I was trying to listen to any "R's" lol
