Will be sad when this ends for you, but glad you got to experience, what I consider to be at least, one of the finest comedies in the world. While I would never dream of telling you how you should react to stuff, I do have a recommedation/request for the final episode, and that is, not to pause in the final few minutes, its such a great ending and deserves to be seen without a break. However you do you. I will leave you with this, 'Lang may yer lum reek'. That's an old Scottish saying to wish you a long and happy life. Its translated as 'long may your chimney smell', I.e I hope the fire in your home lasts for a long time.

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure the guy sitting next to Winston in the doctors waiting room is the same guy in the episode where that bloke is sat opposite Tam in the library and says "probably roars like a bear when she **** ! " 😂

I had the same shock when watching for the first time, and dread that because there’s only 3 episodes left we could easily lose any of the characters so suddenly. I do quite like how they handle deaths on this show though, because in reality you’re rarely there to see it happen and the announcements are always sudden.
The Doctor is played by James MacPherson who is famous in Scotland for playing Detective Mike Jardine in Taggart . . . a very gritty and dark series about Glasgow detectives which ran from the 1980s to the 2000s. I'd recommend it for a watch, but it can be heavy heavy going at times, and was famous for fantastically grizzly murders.

Just noticed that Shug's hair switches from brown back to his old grey hair in the last few scenes 🤣
There's an establishing shot during this that shows the pub but it doesn't have the ramp outside despite being after they built it. They got lazy these last few series though.
I've not seen the latest series of this before but just the fact that it's a part one makes me think that Jess is right in what she said at the end. Also how mean he was with the buffet. I think we'll see Tam again, at least I hope so, they're not going to get rid of a main character like that, are they?
