I spend 12 hours a day in a crappy job. If I didn’t have Mike & Jess to listen to all day, I would literally go insane….. I have autism and adhd, you guys really do make a difference to other people lives and in such a unique, positive and fucking hilarious way. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you guys ❤️ I discovered this awesome channel on YouTube back in 2024 when I was unemployed, in our newly bought house (bad timings) and lonely what with my partner being at work. We finally sold the house after a long time trying and are back with my mum ☺️ You lifted us then and you continue to lift us now 🫶🏽

Stupid Question - why is the channel called Regeneration Nation? I've been here for a couple months now and I figure there's gotta be a story behind the name but I haven't been able to find it in a video. I'm not saying it's a bad name (quite the opposite actually), but I like Origin stories. Also - did you make the intro video? Because the intro video is really good too!
Not a stupid question at all - Mike has covered this a few times, and I think there is quite an early vid on their YouTube that goes into it, but to break it down quickly; Mike was on a bad path but through events managed to get himself onto a good path. He 'Regenerated' and thats why he's so passionate about putting positivity back into the community and hopefully helping people going through tough times have a bit of joy and hopefully 'Regenerate' themselves, hence Regeneration Nation. It also started out as a gaming channel/Twitch so it fit nicely with that too - That's my understanding anyway off the top of my head.
No one in the crew had mentioned to Phil how he looked....wasn't until rod and James pointed it out that he realised he had made a mistake.....remember its anew audience every time so Wangs always gets a new laugh
Phil has said since filming he didn't realise his package was so on display for most of filming. The solo tasks are filmed first followed by a day of team tasks. It wasn't until Rhod pointed it out that he realised by which time all his solo tasks were already done and he could do nothing about it.
I thought I read somewhere that James saw a task on a previous series that said 'Your time started when you greeted Alex' so just never said hello in case. I may be completely making that up though!

Don't get me wrong. I love watching these 2 watch Taskmaster. Jess gives 100% reaction content. But Mike seems to be more concerned with how his pick does. So much so that he can become sour if his pick doesn't do well. And you can tell Jess notices the attitude change because she tries to comfort Mike, she'll even try to lose to try and get Mike's spirits up. You can tell Jess really loves Mike. But I do wish Mike would cut out the 'woe is me' comments when his pick doesn't do well.
The picking winners of each task offers nothing to the reaction and they end up missing so much of what makes this show good, Although I don't agree Mike is sour, he's just playing a role. I wish they would phase out the scoring though and just enjoy the show
In the original episode, Phil Wang says "Rhod Gilbert, being a proud Welshman, is going to blow an air horn at a picture of the Queen" but in this broadcast they cut it down to just "Rhod Gilbert, being a proud Welshman" - anyone know why they would do that?
He did say the full thing on here. He held the tenner and pointed the air horn at it.
