WHAT A WILD YEAR

Hello everyone,

It's been quite a while since I've posted mainly because I just haven't had the time to do much other than creative projects. This was the year when all my dreams came true. I did everything I intended to do and I couldn't be more satisfied. Of course, I'm never satisfied so I'm still diving into plenty of creative projects. I will cover everything I've done this year in one long list here.

THE LIST

So I set out to do three things this year and was able to accomplish those in the first three months. I wanted to make physical copies of my music and I have made TONS of physical merch by this point. I wanted to publish my book, Fluids, to a hundred or so readers. Not only did I do that, but I sold nearly 4000 copies worldwide, in the middle of an international shipping crisis, and am still seeing unknowable love from that book. I wanted to leave Texas. The place was suffocating and the people were impossible. My life was pretty awful there and I had to get somewhere safe. I moved to Colorado where I'm very happy to see the sun and the mountains out my window every single day.

So those were the main accomplishments I wanted to achieve and I did those things. But I also did all this shit.

- Went on a tour and played huge shows all over the place

- Released 3 albums, an EP, and a remix record.

- Made the NSFL Iceberg on Youtube which instantly became my most popular.

- Reached 115k subscribers.

- Met countless lifelong friends that give me more support than I know.

- 'We're all going to the world's fair' released in theaters and HBO max, in which I play a small role in. I was in a fucking movie.

- Started a podcast with my friend Maya and did a ton of episodes

- My music portfolio on Spotify has reached an audience of over 1000 monthly listeners.

- Collaborated with some artists that I really respect.

and there's probably more. But nevertheless, I've done more work this year than I've done my entire life. I don't know if this means I'm tapped out or just getting started. I don't like expectations or counting my chickens before they hatch so I don't love admitting the projects I'm working on and I like the feeling of something dropping and everyone noticing at the same time. It's a beautiful thing to experience.

Things are only going to get crazier and less predictable and I love that. In a few months, you may be shocked at where I am and what I'm doing. So here's a short list of my current goals now that I've surpassed all my original intentions.

- Bout halfway through another ANGELGRIND record but dunno when that's going to materialize.

- Nearly done with the first draft of a new story that I'm calling Girl Flesh.

- Working on a semi-autobiographical interpretation of some non-fiction stuff. I can't say more than that. I know I'm being vague.

- Finishing the research for the rest of the NSFL Iceberg (but taking my time because oh boy does it suck)

- Making a whole line of new merch whenever I can afford it.

Shit, I might even have healthcare this year lol. Either way, I guess I just wanted to make up for the lack of posts lately by telling you everything all at once. I can't thank you enough for your support over the course of this year. It's been incredible and I'm sure next year will only be more extreme.
