Gero-michi is basically Ippo from 2 years ago, so it's great to see him take Yamada (his actual last name lol) under his wing. Umezawa (former bully turned fan/friend) apologized in his own way, but it's great to see that he feels actual remorse. Morikawa writes such human characters, which makes it easy for us to empathize and root for these characters
