Like I've said before, I read this manga over 15 years ago when i was in HS so i dont remember everything, but i DO always remember the akito/shigure mess of a relationship. it was toxic back then, and it's toxic now, but somehow....doesn't it just feel /right/? One of the most important scenes of the episode imo, is actually the one where Akito scratches Shigure's face. Cuz it shows that change cannot happen overnight, shes got a LONG way ahead to actually heal her bad habits. And i think thats an important point to make.
