Rudy does sound like a baby so it fits him (the actual baby) but his adult self is his thoughts and commentary that we’re hearing. This is only the first episode & I heard it gets crazier. My first time watching so looking forward to this journey

When viewing Rudeus, I always think his less desirable traits are meant to be hated on by the audience to some degree. A lot of time it is meant to be a funny pervy scene that is used somewhat frequently in some anime. I don't really want to get into any spoilers so won't comment any further.

Most people hate this show because of the things Ron stated, but people are so closed minded, and like he said, yall watched Food Wars and that was highschool, so its all different because they were drawed different? Yall are weird, and the worse part is you cant even defend this because people are just so close minded they start calling u out for defending it. Regardless I love this show because of all the emotions it puts you threw with the MC, emotions most anime dont even make you experience, and that ive only ever felt watching the later half of Toradora and Vinland Saga, which is a weird convo lmao. And that uniqueness of writing is what makes me love it.

people complain about this show but There was incest in episode one of Game of thrones like lets be formal there's worse shit on evening television

It gets wierd but people take it to seriously. Like yall said hes 30+ but hes in a kids body what is he supposed to do with his life if not be with someone his bodies age. The only issue people can honestly point at is hes a little creep and perv in the beginning.

This is one of the most well written, well rounded and polished anime out there. Enjoy the ride guys

Haha congrats you got through Episode 1! 😂 It's a good anime but the relationships between characters can be controversial. Slime Rimuru was a normal working business guy and he died protecting his subordinate from getting stabbed.

So excited for this!! It's definitely controversial for more reasons than what you said, but I say take the ride and enjoy it. There are some scenes that do make me cringe (especially in the beginning), but the overall story is just so good.

This shows world building and storytelling is PEAK

the names start getting longer but “I got a cheat skill in another world and became unrivaled in the real world” the mc travels between the isekai and original world. there’s also “Restaurant to another world” (Isekai shokudou) where a restaurant in Japan travels to an isekai one day of the week and serve customers there. Isekai izakaya is also similar to shokudou.

Oh this is only episode 1 so you haven’t seen the worst of it, but y’all are obviously entitled to your own opinions. I have seen this and had to force myself to get over certain scenes. But I do hope y’all do enjoy the show for your own purposes and not let the negative conversations talk you out of dropping a show

I'm not sure though Edit: the author said this: "I mostly ignore the antis' comments anyway, and I'll write the work I want to create for myself. I've been doing that all along." So there was some backlash but they ignored it and kept doing what they wanted

I will say this about Michelle going in completely blind that's how I went in in a sense I was bait and switched I saw a short clip on Tik Tok and it was amazing of like the first couple episodes apparently just like a really little cool magical scene and then I was like okay I'm interested I watch it and then I'm like oh my God I'm scared but it does have some incredible moments but omg hent¡ is not a joke but is very not far Michelle :#
