and i do think shigure is a bad guy lol i dont like him! definitely i think its good to look at things with more nuance. akito is definitely a bad person and nothing excuses her behavior in the past but she definitely is also a victim. shigure is older and is old enough to know that he was manipulating akito when they were younger.

Shigure and Akitos age gap is hard to puzzle out... The mangaka is very ambiguous with a lot of the ages in the story. Shigure is 27 or 28 i think. And all we know about Akito is that shes in her early 20s. So the age gap really isnt THAT huge, but when you see them drawn as kids, Shigure looks like hes 10 years older... and then you have the curse that also drew him to her that complicates it all.... But yes... hes a weird guy but also an entertaining shit stirrer... Its no coincidence that the romance novelist is the one pulling the strings and playing puppet with everyone and causing the drama... Cuz thats what authors do w/i their own stories :D

Shigure mentioned he loves Akito. always has. that is an unwavering truth Shigure..remember in the beginning of this episode there was the flashback between Akito and Shigure offered Akito a red camilia 🌸 and confessed his undying love to her.... and then not long after Kureno's curse broke.. shigure didn't know it broke, but you know what he did know... he knew that Akito kept kureno close all of a sudden.. the love that him and akito shared and they were so close together always the closest and now all of a sudden it was gone like a betrayal.. akitos insecurities with kurono started unraveling her she was desperate to keep him close to hide the secret which ended up pushing Shigure further away so much so that he retaliated. he was pissed at her how dare you sleep with another member of the zodiac. I thought we were in love. so him being young and yes kind of a dog he slept with her mother. he knew this would hurt Akito the most because Akito already hates her mother. but Shigure wanted to almost get revenge.. to say hey this hurt me when you did that with kureno so I inflicted the same thing to you. Feel my pain. and then you told me to leave. do you know how pissed that made me..... and then Akito dared to ask Sugar Ray if he remembers that night he didn't respond in the way akital wanted because can you imagine how he must have felt he must have wanted to say the same back to her how dare you do you not remember that night 🌸 he was trying to make her remember and is tired of her refusing to relize or accepting their feelings .. yes shigure is a couple years older than Akito but they were both kids.. the point is, where the other zodiac members clearly have an affinity for Akito it is linked to the bonds... do you think Shigure is relying on these bonds? I feel as if he was relying on the bonds, he would be kind to Akito just like everyone else.. Shigure has mentioned it before but he's greedy and he wants what he wants.. listen to what Akito said. listen to what akito's says about her mom. shigure mentioned to Akito that Akito hides her femininity or her Womanhood but then uses it against him. He loves Akito. and I mean loves Akito but Akito is still hung up on loving all of the zodiac and being the God and being able to do whatever she wants with any zodiac member so much so that she slept with crudinal Sugar Ray was deeply hurt No even mentioned it akito's love is also belonging to Shigure but she's insecure I wonder what she could be insecure about I wonder why she hates her mom I wonder why she hides her Womanhood I wonder if all these things are connected maybe Sugar Ray's motives Hartford Akito to stop hiding to stop lying because in the end it hurts him and everyone else it's hurting her and he also stated it sometimes he wants to crush her into a pulp he's tired of it being this manipulation he's tired of it being connected to these bonds he's tired of Akito not committing fully to who she is and who she loves Shigure wants Akito...
