Ginrei Kuchiki is Byakuya Kuchikis grandfather who trained Byakuya 100 years ago (Turn Back the Pendulum arc)

Michelle called it last reaction saying what if he’s related to Byakuya lol. We first seen Ginrei (old man) in the Turn Back The Pendelum arc (seeing the vizards as captains when they were apart of soul society) Ginrei was training young Byakuya. Ginrei is Byakuya’s grandfather and Koga’s father in law. Since Koga married into the clan, him and Byakuya are related by that but they aren’t blood related

Ginrei is Byakuya's Grand-father

the was several hundred years ago not 100. They never showed Byakuya's father in any flashback. You guys didn't have any reaction to Koga say he was his son in-law to Byakuya

This was a good ep

I know I don't speak for the mass but personally, I wouldn't mind if this filler arc was dropped but thats just me, definitely appreciate you going through this regardless!

Had to look it up because he sounded familiar, but byakuya's grandad is voiced by whitebeards voice actor

Yea this would have hit more if watched earlier

We told y’all to watch when yall was suppose to watch it 😑🤣
