I can understand why Araki probably made things so complicated during this part. it WAS going to be the final one after all.... he porbably wanted to have some of these stands "stand out" if you will once the story was completled and years later fans would still talk about how cool and intricate the last parts stands were... thats all speculative at least. seems to be what a lot of writers go thru. He wanted to "show off", but really wasnt able to in the way he wanted if you know how he felt about part 6. I think he finally got that out of him in part 7 funny enough, espeically since the manga changed to monthly and was targeted for a more mature audience.

Just so Ron and Michelle understands , Bohemian Rhapsody might seem silly to you but it's one of the strongest stands displayed this far. It affects the entire Earth in that it brings all fictional characters to life. So let's say for example Ron was to encounter Might Guy, one of his favourites from Naruto, his soul would immediately split in two and he would have to play out how a story goes which would basically lead to Ron's death cuz I can't bank on Ron figuring out how the stand works. Lol no offense my guy. But an absolutely broken stand ability

I know most of the comments will be talking about Giorno's half-brothers. I like the main gang and pucci but the setting I didn't care for, and the plot was whatever to me for a good part of the arc. It's not a bad part but it certainly is not my favorite.

Great discussion at the end! A lot of people—including me—found this part confusing at first, but it clicked more on a second watch once you better understand stands and how the author evolves each part. Part 5 is my favorite too, but most fans say Part 7 is the best (I’m anime-only, but after episode 1 I get why). You’re definitely not alone about Part 6—it’s widely seen as convoluted, with some stands not well explained, and the animation felt a bit rushed at times. Don’t let that take away from the experience though—the ending is one of my favorites in all of JoJo. Appreciate the content as always!
