FRUITS BASKET EP. 12 REACTION! 👒

I’m loving these longer discussions!! There’s so much to relate to in fruits basket, and there’s just no other show like it!! I’m eagerly anticipating each Tuesday and Thursday for more 😭

In the romance genre, Furuba is my favorite and most beloved anime. I first read the manga and watched the anime in secondary school (middle school, I think, for you guys), more than 20 years ago. The story truly healed my heart, and I learned many small but meaningful lessons from it. I’ve carried those lessons with me and applied them in my life especially appreciating the simple things around me and showing gratitude. I also didn’t have any issues with the subtle inclusion of topics that might be considered sensitive, particularly in Japan. In fact, I appreciated how the mangaka naturally wove these elements into the story, which made it feel more honest and meaningful to me. The meet of Tohru and Akito🤭🤭very intense and its so sad that Yuki and everyone automatically thinks that Akito did something physical or psychological or something else to Tohru🥺 big trauma right there😭😭 With the intro talk, is it a Scorpio thing?🤣 because im the same with Ron, how I don't like talking about real personal things unless necessary😅

Me and Ron are the exact same when it comes to anime. This show has been on my radar, basically the title of this show intrigued me. Had no clue it was girly or whatever or for a certain group of people but it doesnt matter to me. Like Ron said it sprinkles all types of things in this show which is cool. As long as a show is good no matter the genre that's all that matters Momiji is little blonde boy kid's name (the bunny) Haru is the white hair kids name (the cow)

Absolutely agree in the intro. I've written in a journal for a long time and it helps a lot. Anime definitely is an outlet too, just for us to escape the real world and enjoy what we like. This was a fun chill episode and it got dark quick with Akito. Things are getting interesting. I'm proud of Torhu for shoving Akito, I was surprised when that happened. To Ron's point Akito's VA is a female true but then again many female VAs voice male characters like Naruto, Gon etc. The fact that Michelle instantly called that Haru was gonna show his crotch hair. "Does the carpet match the drapes" is hilarious, I've never heard that saying before lol

this is just the tip of the iceberg. Once you get to yuki, kyo and tohru’s real backstory and flashbacks, it’s gonna break you wide open😭
