That's right, be confused and scared! 😂 I will never forgive Naruto for introducing many western fans to the kancho but then making them think it's called 1000 years of death/pain and anytime it's used, they think its a reference to Naruto. 😩 But then also, how would have anyone learned about the kancho? 😂 So I guess the result of a plus and minus is 0. We first saw Takaba in this season Episode 3 when he was trying to achieve his goals to be a great comedian but he wasn't a very funny successful comedian. He is in the opening song intro for quite a few scenes, so it pretty much shows his significance. 😏😂 My Japanese isn't that advanced to understand some of their humour but Takaba's joke was considered quite bad like a cold joke. Someone who is Japanese did explain this and I quote: For you who doesn't understand Takaba's joke, he basically just saying "余計なお世話よ" or "Yokeinaosewa yo" meaning "Mind your own business". But instead of saying "-osewa yo", he's saying "-osewaifai" (Wi-Fi in Japanese in pronounce as Wai fai). (It seems the official english translation is different from the original Japanese.) Another character will explain the joke later in the show.
