The scene with Luffy trying on the armor is why he is my all time favorite main character. He does things because he wants to do and that is all he needs. Which is a cool lesson for us to do things because we can and no other reason.
A ship wright not being able to swim would make it impossible to fix the bottom of the boat if he so much as gets splashed while fixing the sides of the boats he’d fall in the water. It’s a bad weakness for frank and the crew as a whole

A good comparison of cyborg with Devil Fruit would be Kuma, if you were wondering what Franky could be. I feel Franky is slightly more utility built as compared to Kuma who is built to battle.
You should have waited till after the Dressrosa arc to watch the Live action. Not a big deal for people who don't watch the anime, but the second season has spoilers for the anime.

I feel like the live action is supposed to be owns thing that take inspiration from OG Source (anime + manga). Its not trying to be better or good as the OG. but its trying to best to be good while being made for american/target audience. Also some thing imo translate better in anime/cartoon format than Live Action for example, Devil fruit, the fights, and some aura farming moments. Some things are better handled in live action with the hindsight of knowing the future.
On the akainu point- I agree that he thinks what he's doing is right, but burning alive a soldier who tried to flee the marineford war(on akainu's whim at that) is too much bro

I've just finished binge-reading the whole arc... man, Dressrosa is awesome. Easily one of my favorite arcs so far. If, as people say, the pacing was that much of a mess when it was coming out weekly, being able to read the whole thing in a week makes it so enjoyable !

Sanji wouldn't even need Ace's fruit, the guy already conjures flames with his feet, the fruit would just not let him swim 😭 I don't think anyone in the Straw Hats should eat a fruit but if it had to be someone I'd say Nami honestly, something that amplifies her weather abilities like maybe the Cloud Cloud no Mi and it's a logia, that'd be cool. Zoro's swords could also eat a devil fruit like how we saw in Enies Lobby with that elephant sword but to be honest I hope that never happens with Zoro because it'd undermine his whole World's Greatest Swordsman dream, he'd lowkey feel like a cheat with that (especially one for each sword).

Franky can't eat a devil fruit, he builds ships and can't afford to be weak to water Sanji have the dream of finding the all blue so he would literally be cut off from his dream Usopp could use a devil fruit but he is the representation of the normal guy in the crew so no way that he gets it Zoro could use it but it literally wouldn't add anything to his power and would only take away his ability to fight under water, so it would just make him weaker
