Crimson Skyrim WIP 1

The wrestling moves from Crimson Desert looked so fun that I wanted to bring them into Skyrim — so I made this mod.

This Grapple mod took quite a while, as the entire system was completely reworked from the ground up. That said, I built it with future expandability in mind, so I believe the foundation is now solid.

Changes & Additions

• Simplified required mods — Now only requires: SKSE64, Address Library for SKSE, OAR, AMR

• Changed Grapple trigger method — Updated for users who were unable to use Grapple with the previous hit-on method

• AMR now applies in paired animations as well

• Auto weapon sheathing when using common Grapple

Grapple can be used by assigning a hotkey in MCM.

Since Grapple is fundamentally a paired animation, using it while in lock-on state can cause the paired animation sync to break. To prevent this, register the same lock-on hotkey you are using into the Lock-on Hotkey field in the Grapple MCM — it will automatically disengage lock-on before the paired animation begins to prevent malfunctions.

Installation

Required

• SKSE64

• Address Library for SKSE

• Open Animation Replacer (OAR)

• Animation Motion Revolution (AMR)

Optional

• True Directional Movement (TDM)

Please completely remove the existing For Honor in Skyrim Grapple mod before installing the new one.

Since this is still a WIP, the mod name will be temporarily set to "Grapple" for now and I will decide on a proper name later.
