Beam Walking Assist

Beam Walking automatically detects narrow surfaces — fence tops, rails, beams — and assists your movement so you don't fall off. It steers you along the path, stops you safely at the edge, and lets you leap off with a directional boost on jump. Double-tap forward to intentionally step off the end.

Update notes for RaySense - Beam Walking Assist:

• Refined the logic for stopping at the edge of a beam.

• Added logic for stepping down after stopping at the edge of a beam. Double-tap the movement key.

• Jumping from the edge of a beam now results in a stronger leap than a normal jump.

• Added support for backward movement.

• Fixed issues where the mod would malfunction on normal terrain, slopes, and stairs.

Requirements

• Skyrim Script Extender (SKSE64)

• Address Library for SKSE Plugins

• Open Animation Replacer (OAR)

• Open Animation Replacer - RaySense

Important Installation Note

The animations from the previous RaySense - Beam Walk and the features of RaySense - Beam Walking Assist, which were separate, have been integrated into a single mod called Beam Walking Assist.

Please remove the old RaySense - Beam Walk and RaySense - Beam Walking Assist, and install only Beam Walking Assist.

* This version is still in beta, so it is only available to patrons.

This mod is a WIP. Until the official release, it will be available only to Tier 1 or higher supporters, who can download it from the Discord download channel. AFDIAN supporters can download it from the AFDIAN download post.
