GameUI + Dialogue Box

As mentioned before, we’re making significant updates to our game to make it more engaging and user-friendly. Naturally, the dialogue box and its visible mechanics were due for a redesign to give them a distinctive identity.

To showcase these changes, we’ve prepared four GIFs highlighting the key updates and differences. The first three demonstrate the new dialogue box styles: Clear, Default, and Solid. You’ll notice we’ve enhanced the speaker’s name display and centralized the dialogue text to maximize space and better highlight the game’s visuals.

Regarding the GameUI, the changes are even more substantial. Buttons have been redesigned and customized for their respective functions, and everything has been centralized to optimize space. Additionally, the default Ren'Py text buttons ("Back," "Skip," "Save," "Options," etc.) have been replaced with streamlined buttons that align with the GameUI design, ensuring clarity and ease of use.

Upper Buttons:

• Male Button: Access your own stats and view other male characters in the game.

• Female Button: View the stats of female characters, track your relationship progress, revisit erotic scenes, and customize each character’s outfits based on intimacy levels.

• Gallery Button: Access each character’s albums, where you can check the requirements to unlock photos or admire the art they’ve sent. Note that the photos received may vary depending on the game mode.

• Clock Button: Displays the current day of the week to help you keep track of time for specific events. Significant adjustments have been made to the time mechanics to balance the Sandbox and Visual Novel modes, which we’ll discuss in the final post about the changes.

• Money Button: This button, like the clock, remains active until you disable it. It shows your available cash and bank balance. The bank’s income system remains unchanged.

• Patreon Button: This takes you directly to our Patreon page, where you can stay up to date with the latest news.

Lower Buttons:

• Back

• History

• Skip

• Save

• Options

• Exit

These are the familiar Ren'Py buttons, but we’ve reordered them for better accessibility and understanding.
