To my rather pleasant surprise, this story is doing even better than The Labyrinths of Archal. By a large margin in fact. And The Labyrinths of Archal was already my previous most popular Patreon only series before Royal Road.
So I hope you all continue to like it. Because I'm very much enjoying writing Pioneer of the Abyss so far. So much so that it's practically a hobby at this point where I'm spending most of the day writing it, other than time spent writing chapters for other stories.

Aw, I was hoping for some art in the other style, but great because more chapters way sooner then I thought they would ever appear
Sorry, but that other art style won't be appearing much anymore if ever. It's much worse in my opinion than this new one, and far less consistent than this new one.
This is such a great story, I look forward to more chapters.

Thoroughly enjoying this one, story is real promising. Just a quick note, deep sea angler shark went from level 3 in chap 5 to level one in post fight notifications in chap 6
No it did not. That was a different shark. Do remember she said there were a lot of monsters. Far more than the ones she identified. And she's been going around hunting over a dozen of them one after another. Almost two dozen of them since the chapter before.
She’s definitely a vicious bad ass

Right now it's in a golden period where I'm really passionate about writing it. And it certainly helps that this series is quickly becoming so incredibly popular on my Patreon. So I'll probably be binge writing it for a while.
