Black Hawk Down

My husband is a combat veteran. He was in Iraq 2004 -2005. He lost a lot of his brothers over there. He was right in the middle of the chow hall bombing in Mosul Iraq. Most people can’t begin to even comprehend how bad war really gets. We have a good friend that was serving during this “Battle of Mogadishu “ in Somalia . He saw some unbelievably awful things over there. They of course didn’t show it on the movie for obvious reasons. They would take our brave soldiers while still alive. Most were severely injured and cut of arms ,legs, even there head and parade the up and down the streets with pride. My heart breaks for their families and the fallen. He was strong but it really broke him. I had no idea how bad it would get in Iraq. Waiting for my husband to come home was a living hell for my children and myself. But thank the Lord above he came home safely.

My unit at Ft. Drum, NY is the unit that came in to help them at the end. I wasn't there during this but I did serve with ppl who was here

Myself and my grandfather both served in the Marine Corps. Semper Fi, Do or Die. Love the content. Keep up the good work. I also recommend 'Act of Valor' along with 'Battle Los Angeles'. 'The Outpost' is another good movie also based on true events.

Gotta watch Act of Valor. One of the top military movies imo
