They tried to "Walter White" Dexter in an episode and a half so that we would hate him.

I've watched season 2 of Dexter SO many times and when they were investigating the Bay Harbor Butcher, they never once mentioned injection sites and M99, but definitely no ketamine cause Dexter didn't use ketamine.
