Is Miami metro good. The fact they couldn't find out about Dexter. I might say they the worst department. Tbh 😂
We just having fun. But Angel gave her the tip. She didn't pull it out of thin air . That's what lead her to the bay harbor butcher. Not this one episode.

This show takes leaps that make no sense sometimes. Angela looked up "ketamine" and "Miami Metro" and got Bay Harbour Butcher? Dexter didn't even use ketamine back in the day. She would've got maybe some unrelated articles.
Tbh New Blood kind of crapped on the original Dexter show by diminishing the original meticulous greatness of Dexter himself. Making him sloppy and “rusty” was purposeful to elevate Angela and force a rushed script
He hasn't killed for ten years. He's supposed to be rusty and sloppy.
She wouldn't have even considered it if she hadn't ran into Batista in NYC. I mean he worked for the Miami Metro and faked his death as far as Angela knew that could have been why.
You guys should watch Ready or not 2 since it’s out, imo it’s pretty good!
i think y’all overestimating miami metro.. if you ask me, Angela putting that together isn’t out of this world especially when Angel helped her on her hunch so the flags are flagging & having Doakes be the only one in the inner circle to investigate Dex for a story isn’t fair.. loved Doakes but you’ll be surprised with other officers & detectives
Just realized when harrison hits dude with the pan in dexters dream he has the same face that dexter did when he hit Astor and Cody's dad with a pan 😂
Okay well to be fair yes there are some plot holes cause Dex never used Ket he used m99. However both are tranquilizers so maybe it just lumped it all into one big sum?. And the reason why I think Angela would solve it faster than anyone else in Miami isn’t because she’s “super cop”. She just isn’t as invested into dex like everyone else was in Miami, People didn’t suspect dex at all because he had spent countless years building that perfect cover of being the innocent lab geek who couldn’t be able to hurt someone like that. Where as I think Dex was only in iron lake for 5 years maybe?

the Jim shit talking is just to manipulate Harrison but it’s overly funny when they emphasize “Jim” 🤣 & Shoshana was so right, a small part of Kurt definitely was enjoying the time with Harrison.. atleast that’s how i took it also
I don't wanna carry water for the lazy writing, but Kurt was wearing a white hunting suit and it was snowy and dark out. It's not that hard to imagine they just couldn't see him, at which point he has an advantage and a head start. They were also choosing connection with each other and safety over their urge to kill Kurt. I think it was just a lazy writing decision to just give Kurt an escape. I haven't seen this season i'm watching it with you so maybe there's tunnels or some shit like that.
New blood is decent but ressurection is where the meat is.

Here's the thing. We waited 9 years thinking Dexter was over. Just having it back was enough for the first 7 episodes. But I got sick of whiny Harrison, even though he had every reason. But, after episode 10, again we thought it was over forever. I promise Dexter Resurrection was such a surprise and its so totally OG and fabulous!!
I think they took a lot of criticism into the writers room to make a better come back
to be fair she didnt put it together alone it was what batista said. finding one pattern between kills, finding two people with ketamine, needles in the neck, after interections with jim who is dexter from miami, and she looked up ketamine use in miami and it was the bhb that popped up. to be fair no one could find out that pattern in miami because noone could tie him to ketamine interections they just knew it was a cop. so basically she just had a piece to the puzzle no one else had. that doesnt make her super smart.
He never used Ketamine, he used M99 (etorphine hydrochloride) in Miami. And when the found the bodies in season 2 not one time did anyone mention ANY injection sites. NONE
Super detective Angela made it fall apart for me, but especially ketamine which The Bay Harbor Butcher never used. Yesterday she supposedly loved him, the next day hates him. She knows that Kurt killed Iris and completely drops that to go after Dexter. Grrrr
its not so much that she hated him she was trying to find out more about him and everyday since finding out he was dexter more people kept coming to her telling her things that would make everyone question why he would doo that, i mean why would jim show up to the drug dealer and beat him up
Do we think we might get both episodes tommorow?
